Wow!!!!!!!!!! All this time I thought it was the actor "ADAM SANDLER" "lol". That film "Happy Gilmore" that featured Bob Barker, I thought in real life he (Bob) had given Sandler a job there @ the Price is right.
I have a question regarding that. Since they've got a large you know stash of prizes in the price phone?what happened after the contestant receive surprise from The Price is Right do they just go pick it up or do they wait till it's delivered to their home like a new car for instance?
They explain this in the video - the show ships the prizes to you. As @ourbob775 said, it's after the show airs because you can't spoil the surprise for your neighbours.
How to make trips better? Upgrade them to First Class, or at least Business Class. Last thing I want to do on a flight to Europe is spend 12-15 hours in Coach.
I won a trip to Hong Kong and turned it down. One of the biggest reasons? 21-hr flight in coach, plus layovers. In addition to that, I'd have to pay taxes and have spending money and time off work. (Plus, China is a communist country- I avoid that like the Plague!)
I respect your decisions not to take the trip however Hong Kong is not communist. It has retained the British laws and business practices, though China is indeed chomping at the bit to eventually integrate them in with the rest of China, albeit with some protest. At times it can be cautionary to go, but it is one part of the world I'd love to visit.
Here's a thought, Fremantle: if any of your prizes warehouses ever *_do_* get jammed to capacity-maybe have _Price,_ _LMAD_ or _PYL_ forgo taping and instead just have a sale out on the lot, offering all the prizes that _didn't get won on the air_ for a fraction of their ARP.
I'm guessing the prizes are on a consignment basis that are actually property of the company that made them, not Fremantle. The prizes are essentially given away by these companies as advertising. I would also imagine if a prize has not been given away and the company does not want it back or only wants a reduced price for it, it probably gets offered up to staff of the show. If no one on the show wants it, they are probably donated to charity.
Wow that's a mighty big prize bolt that they've got there now I understand about these warehouses that you guys have there at The Price is Right now I see how many cars you guys give away mostly somewhere between 15 and 20 per week but I can say this much for right now if they would give away a self-driving car guess what somebody going to have an awful lot of explaining to do when they have to pay the taxes on those cars because the biggest part of it is $5 million worth of prizes in one Warehouse or maybe two warehouses or I can see why you guys get away all that money and prizes but my hats off to you people I commend you guys for what you're doing but really what happens to the prizes after these people win them do they just go like for example for a car do they really go back to the local car dealership there and basically get shipped to your house wherever you live like say for instance to Seattle or Tacoma or whatever? I'd sure like to know that.
1:07 Hey, that's the Weber Grill with Kettle Pizza kit I won on the show!

Oh so that's Adam Sandler, not THE Adam Sandler, the actor, the star of Happy Gilmore who punches Bob Barker😂
I think that every time I see the credits.
He doesn't punch Bob Barker, BOB punches him! Right in the gut!

“We decide what we want on The Price Is Right based on What do we want?”
HOW FREAKING HIGH IS THIS DUDE!?!?!?!?!?
Someone in the 90s was _really_ into baker's racks.
I want that guy’s ball cap. I collect ball caps - I have over 200 in my collection.

How i understand it is you have to wait til the episode airs than the prizes you won will be delivered within 90 days
They explain this in the video - the show ships the prizes to you. As @ourbob775 said, it's after the show airs because you can't spoil the surprise for your neighbours.
I have always wondered if anyone ever won a trip to where they already live lol

Yes. I recall a guy from Massachusetts winning a trip to New England.
@@pigs18not sure if it's the same way but they used to always announce the departure point as Los Angeles.
@@kennethsouthard6042 That's to determine the value of the prize. I think they actually award a travel voucher.

This is being considered for Price Is Right Diamond Medallion® contestants.
Better than being in Baggage, I suppose... 😂🤣

I believe prizes that are not won are featured on a future show

I've sorta seen the warehouse before I even enter the studio audience, but not into it.

Punctuation is your friend. Couldn't read that novel in one sentence form.
A MALE model???
Yes, the days of Barker's beauties are long over.
