SNUB PPC's and LBX20's are made for eachother. Super low heat, high damage and almost pinpoint. With a chance for Crit's. Super fun, unconventional build.

MechWarrior Online is a free-to-play vehicular combat video game, officially launched during September 2013 by Piranha Games for Microsoft Windows. The game takes place within the larger #BattleTech universe. In MechWarrior: Online, players takes the role of a ""MechWarrior"" who pilots large bipedal combat vehicles known as BattleMechs (Mech for short). Players can customize their BattleMech with an array of weapons and equipment, and engage in 12 versus 12 battles, the outcome of which earns the players experience and c-bills for future BattleMech purchases and customization. Great job 1st view will sub I am a bit of a snob some would say. I like many top players and have subbed because they earned it.
Today is the 2nd day I've played this game and just so happened to have bought a marauder yesterday. This is by far the most beginner friendly and satisfying build I've used so far.
Glad you enjoy it! Any of the Marauder's work great when starting out new, due to there good hardpoints and hitboxes!

if you like that build try MAD-6S with 3 snubs and ac20 the build i use has 2 ams

Orion IIC Sköll is seriously impressive. I built it with MASC, 3 LPLs, & an LBX AC-20. 93kph top speed w/XL300 & MASC...
If this is a "close in" build (you get in their face, alpha,... and repeat), why are you going with full range? Wouldnt full cooldown be better so you can keep shooting as fast as possible?
It just depends on the match really. You can defo be in someones face within a 1v1. But against a grouped up enemy team, it wouldn't be a good idea... And yeah cooldown would be helpful on this build, maybe instead of heatgen/range nodes. I personally almost always have range nodes skilled full. Just allows you to do more damage at the moments in game where you cannot be close in!
@@mrimproviseMWONLINE Range is usually more helpful than cooldown, especially with alpha and/or high heat builds. Cooldown is usually a trap.
Why not AC20? You get 40 damage pinpoint and 2 tons to spare for heatsinks or secondary weapons like ERSL, AC20 also occupies less space.
You sir are very correct! I guess it just comes down to personal preference. I'm really liking lbx20's atm so I thought I'd give it a go on this build 👍🏻

LBXs don't have the point-damage advantage of other ACs, but they're quite good for late-game crits as every projectile gets a crit chance. LBX heat is lower than other ACs, & projectile speed is higher. It's also easier to hit fast movers since it's a bloody shotgun :-)
@@4unkb0y Spot on, LBX are much more forgiving to use compared to normal AC weapons. I like both but I think LBX's take the edge!
@@mrimproviseMWONLINE for me it depends. In general I like my builds to be either mostly point-damage or mostly splattercast, in order to set a playstyle. Then I usually like the secondary weapons to be the other type, & usually short-range. LBX AC20 is great for late-game crits, as are SRM-6 (the more the merrier :), & especially LMG.
Why use the LBX Autocannon instead of a standard? It seems like the basic AC20 would have better alpha ability.
Very true, AC20 could be better or this setup. I guess the only reason I went with the lbx20's is cos I'm quite enjoying using lbx's atm 😁 however I do think the lbx20 is much easier to use compared to an AC20
