This is so refreshing! It's NEW! Grace is giving us a whole new view of her tastes as they grow. Really surprised and thrilled for her. Love to the band and Grace and all FanderWaals everywhere. Excellent music. Now I go listen to the iTunes release of Stray. I assume it was purchased automatically earlier today as per my order. WAY TO GO! Music, Music, Beautiful Music!!

Just listened to the Amy Winehouse version of Valerie and I hope that Amy fans don't take offense but Grace's version is better.

I like MR B's reply. Especially those of us who lived thru the Joe Cocker years where he did exactly that! Sang songs better and more interesting than the originals. Grace is just off the charts! We are all brought together because of her stupid idea to buy a uke with b-day money. Why? Because she knew she had music inside of herself and wanted to get it out to the world. That's what I see. Congrats again Grace and all involved. Amazing trip with you these past 3+ years! Alan

Did awesome, but wouldn't this have been a perfect opportunity to do Lungs or Hope for Change? Not only would they have never been sung live before, but unlike Valerie, they are both originals. What is going on with those two songs. The only thing that makes sense are two things: She doesn't like the songs, or there's some sort of control over them that makes it so she can't perform them. I hate both reasons. especially the second one. If she didn't want to perform them then I would have to accept that and live with it, but something tells me it's the second reason. It's Target or the co-writers or someone giving her the worst advice ever. I just can't even guess why and it makes me angry every time I think of it.
All they had to do was turn the gain down on the mic for a second. Great song though.
