It’s amazing to see all your foreign copies ! The history of each of those albums ! All the people that them in their collection and how many miles they traveled and how long it took them to get that playboy mag. Aroma ! Ha ha ha ! So funny ! ⚡️space ace Ron ⚡️
They should have repressed a non Kissin Time version for the 50th anniversary. Maybe the original owner of yours bought it for Kissin Time and was disappointed not having it :). Imagine that! But that was Neil Bogart idea reasoning for doing it, so who knows!

Such a cool idea & cool video. My KISS vinyl collection goes back to the 70's. I still have my older brother's Alive! with his name written on it by our mom. I was really into KISS vinyl collecting throughout the 80's & 90's. I have some white label promos, imports & a lot of signed vinyl. I haven't looked through them in a long time & I'm afraid that once I do I'll want to start buying vinyl again LOL But your vids are giving me that itch to get thee boxes out of my closet and go down that rabbit hole.

My best deal ever was bidding on a sealed copy of Creatures of the night 1982 version on ebay back in 2000. Got it from the Los Angeles ASPCA for 18.00.
'Vinyl Tag', something new, not a bad idea. I take it your vinyl copy has Kissin' Time as part of the track list? A previous owner may not have realized the vintage or significance of the record cover and replaced the original vinyl with a fourth generation pressing, keeping the original vinyl for themselves. Unknowingly to put into a newer more pristine jacket, which in-reality would have come-out later in the 70s. The Taiwan record is quite the score, I've never seen that before...NICE! Do you remember the spongy, sticky gum-like stuff you had to break-off of a finger-sized bar to use to hang posters on the wall (because Mom and Dad said "NO tape or pin-holes on your bedroom walls)? That stuff usually adhered to the paper poster like glue while drying-up and falling off the wall. I'm interested to hear your thoughts on the very recent announcement of the KISS brand sellout. Thanks for an interesting video Rick.
That's a great thought about the 74' pressing. Oh yes, I remember that glue. I remember using that as a kid, and then at some point we switched over to scotch tape. Not sure if it was cool with my parents, or the gum was too expensive? LOL. And yes, I remember those globs just sticking yo your poster afterward. Maybe that's why we switched? Is it me... or does Kissin' Time sound like it has more of a Hotter Than Hell production than a first album production?? All i know is that Peter's drumming is more energetic and effective compared to the rest of the album
Sorry my guy, but your debut copy is frankensteined. Yes, there are transitional copies that can have KT on the label and not the jacket, but those labels should also have a catalog number NB 9001. Your vinyl has the NBLP 7001 catalog number. I do believe it got swapped at some point
