You see people using the Heat exchanger from engine to heat up water and underfloor heating glycol. This be good to drive the van and all floors warm and hot water when get to camp destination, How would this be done with the CamperVan? The other great thing is solar topping up batteries when 100% heates the heating element in water tank for hot shower of the solar. - Great vids and kit you do!
It be great if you did a vid on your favourite kit for van, heated floors , hot water showrr system, solar and alternator charge setup etc best healthy Insulation. Be great vid
@@alextop1850 it would be interesting but our setups depend entirely on custom requirements, we don’t really have a favourite method of doing anything-except heating and hot water of course :)
@@bobilvans4205 I was looking for the heated floor for van uk that's how I found you, is the glycol best vs heat pad ? Would that be better or less dangerous
I was wondering how do you drain the water out of the cyclinder for the frost in window. I have on of the first of these cyclinder systesm bought it two years ago and it is a great job.
Do you recommend installing John Guest check valves before or after the system? How would you deal with pressure build up between the tank e.g. the shower?
@@ih2530 just on the inlet. There is a bit of pressure build up but that’s why there is an expansion tank, it massively reduces the increase in pressure to protect the pipes.
@@chblabah we’re working our way through it! Yes you can upgrade, it’s just the new exchanger, hoses, clips and the plumbing unit and expansion tank. Just send us an email and we’ll figure something out.
ua-cam.com/video/xTFbJQTjEa8/v-deo.htmlsi=hJDlK2ynRbyYkTBc - This guy has it setup with engine as well, cool if you can do this setup for conversions 20 min driving full 80 gallons of hot water
Guys, the audio is awfull ! Would have thought you could have had done better seeing as this is for your business. Gave up listening as it was so difficult to understand..

Does this supply hot water on demand for a shower or should this be piped in to heat a hot water storage tank

at 9:00 you show a John Guest 12 mm fitting, what size/diameter thread does it need to screw into the barb fitting?
