“Whoever you are” is the most respectful acknowledgment to come from Palpatine, aside from “Stormtrooper!”
Certainly better than “blah da blah da blah da blaaa” or “GO Fv€|< YOURSELF!!!”
“My lord!”
“Storm Trooper.”
“My Lord!”
“Stormtrooper…”
"My lord."
"Go f*** yourself!"
"M'lord!"

When the CEO walked into the meeting room where I was having a meeting with my boss, I immediately knelt and said "It's an honour to kneel in your presence, sir". He said "Carry on, worker. The company needs more men like you. Whoever you are. Hurry along, manager." And that was my one and only glimpse of the CEO in my company.
Wow lol you sound like a better worker than your boss. You've just earned my respect
Wtf...😂😂😂
LOL I got it after like 5 mins 😂
CEO: Dude, could you not? It's creepy...

I love how the empire has all these crazy hyper-specialized stormtrooper variants and then there's just Zuke, a massive jock in power armor.

@@DTheCritical He held Jir and Veers in high esteem if I recall correctly.
@@DTheCriticalI was in the Marines for several years. I did some time in the middle East and id tell my men "I'll never ask you to do something I wouldn't do. But be advised....I'm willing to do so much more than you are expecting."
@@sidekick6371 It's still respectable from a leader even if what the leader is willing to do is shocking. Storm troopers are smart enough to know their job is to kill people not too far off from Vader's job though he's way higher up on the food chain
Vader, like Anakin, despises incompetence.
A lot of the military officers in the empire were chosen for political reasons - they were the children of aristocratic families that Palpatine rewarded for loyalty with wealth and privileged commands.
The actual competent officers Vader got along well with, such as Veers.

*Flips off Stormtrooper* “Go f**k yourself!”
Vader: “I’ll kill you.”
Trooper: “I’ll kill myself.”
Vader: “…Respect.”
I do find it a bit intriguing that Vader tells Kreel to *respect and be worthy* of the Jedi Lightsaber, implying he should live up to and surpass the Jedi it belonged to. Considering how much Vader hated the Jedi, its almost indirect respect.
A "backhanded compliment". As I like to say it.
i think that it's just straight up respect
Vader hated the jedi order, not the jedis themselves. And deep down, anakin was still there
I think Kreel reminded him of many of the younger jedi who looked up to Vader and respected the troopers as much as he did. So in a way I think it's mixture of wanting to atone for killing off that younger generation and to rebuild a new group who are loyal, intelligent, and capable, which Kreel certainly is.
It's why I dislike the inquistors as a whole. They aren't capable like the Imperial Knights in Legends were, nor as good as the Hands who served the Emperor in legends as well.
Vader is a warrior thru and thru and even if the enemy was a Jedi he can respect that they died fighting.
The way he describes Palpatine makes me believe that he's force sensitive. He may not be good at seeing the attacks with the drones he fought with. But he certainly seems to possess an extrasensory gift. That, or Palpatine radiates so much energy that even non sensitives can feel it
Probably palpatine radiating energy which the trooper became accustomed to by being around Vader. Energy imprint. In real life woman in particular but also men can feel the presence of another before they even enter a room. Intuition induced from the gut interpreting the signal of ones hearts electromagnetic field overlapping with another. This is known to the ancients as Melam, a prickly feeling one encounters when on the presence of the Gods, a feeling which simultaneously generates adoration and fear inducing a response that is respect.

This really shows how close Vader was with his 501st. If it had been anyone else, Vader would’ve forced choked them to death!
Well Grand Moff Tarkin, Grand Admiral Thrawn and General Veers are other exceptions
Vader gave chances to anyone who freely admitted they screwed up and wanted to learn from it, no excuses.
Needa was an exception because he had failed before and lost that chance, but he was also a Naval officer, of which branch Vader despised rather heavily except for Thrawn.
It’s hard to not respect Thrawn no matter who are. Of course the minute you underestimate him you’ve already lost whatever conflict you’re engaged in!
@normknapp4404 I believe in a comic we see an interaction between palpatine and Vader where palpatine says “kill as my officers as u want except thrawn “

I really love seeing comics that touches on how the rank and file of the Empire views their emperor.
The emperor acted like any commanding officer would in the real military. "carry on soldier, whoever you are"
"Hurry along Vader, before the bodies get cold!" The Nanny Empire. 😂
Remember the days we theorized Sergeant Kreel and his men were the Bad Batch? ah good times.
"Im a stromtrooper to the core"
"so you also miss everything?"
Real troopers were rare I'm star wars.
Most were in it for money, power or glory if it want for some personal gain.
But kreel was in it for the cause. Peace and order.
Good or bad you got to respect that
Kreel was a soldier who believed in his cause. He revered the emperor, not because it was Palpatine. But because of what he believed the empire to represent. Does he follow evil and sadistic sith lords who want power? Yes. Does he know what they are? Irrelevant. Would he continue to follow as a loyal stormtrooper if he knew what they were? Yes. His loyalty is to the empire and the ideal it represents. Not to individuals.
The Empire is not Palpatine or Vader. It is people like Kreel.
but the empire *is* palpatine, and always has been. maybe people like kreel believe otherwise, vut the empire doesn't represent any ideaal, it only exists to give palpatine oower and he intended to rule it forever
@@slkjvlkfsvnlsdfhgdght5447 Its soldiers like Kreel who give him that power. Not Vader, not the Death Star, not even the Force. For soldiers to be able to do that, they need an ideal to believe in.
No, most troopers were not in it for the money or power. That would be Imperial Officers. Having once been infantry myself...you don't get much power even when you advance ranks. The pride of infantry is usually attaining a CIB or otherwise going to every specialization school they can 😂
@@taemien9219 it's true that the soldiers give him the vast majority of his power, but tell me what ideal do they subscribe to exactly?
also, what you said simply isn't true. throughout history there have been soldiers who foudght for money, or even simply because that's what was expectes of them. many people fought for things they didn't believe in. the world wars are filled with such examples

Perhaps that's what it feels like when you're near the emperor. He's so strong with the force that even someone who isn't force sensitive can feel his power.
Pretty sure the living lightning quote was a reference to Palpatines force lightning, he could probably feel the power of the dark side emitting from him like the lightning itself.... Thunder.
So are we all just going to ignore the fact that this is the third time (yes, the third time) old boy here has uploaded this video? He posted this video four years ago on March 21, 2020, and it even has the same length with no edits. There's a shorter version of the video with the same voiceover and clips from five years ago on December 10, 2018. I always did doubletakes when I watched this stuff thinking that I saw it somewhere before, but this is the first time I've literally found the same video on this channel three times.
Running out of material 😂
fanaticism or Sidious gives such terrifying vibes same effect as with Leia meeting him for the first time in the Senate.
I love that canned answer he gives, like he’s said it to a thousand different troopers before. It’s just so ‘politician’.
2:14 3:02 It takes an incredible artist to make you understand what a character is thinking or feeling through an expressionless mask.
Good job Kreel. Vader has a jedi trooper.
Jedi Master Sahdett
“Have you seen him? The Emperor? Outwardly he looks withered…ancient. That was our mistake…inside, he is coiled fury…limitless rage. Like fire and lightning…a crushing ocean of hate.
No one can withstand him …or stand up to him. But we learned that too late.”
Honestly, being complimented by palpatine instead of, just, killed because you dare speak out of turn is pretty nice of him, all things considered.
kreel was just referring to good ole palps electrifying personality.
Stormtrooper: How do I learn this power?
Vader: Trust me. You’re not that guy pal. You’re not that guy.
Stormtrooper: Not true :(
Darth Vader "if you see my face I'll kill you "
Palpatine "excellent excellent, now you must die"
I love how the emperor looks ready to square up against the storm trooper in the thumbnail
I didn’t realize until you said that lol. Beautiful
My lord, Stormtrooper, My lord, stormtrooper…
WHAZZUP!!!!!!
While it's not an uncommon trope, I do appreciate characters like Kreel that you can tell hold their beliefs and loyalty firmly. I'm sure Vader felt at least a little respect for him when he promised kill his men and himself should he fail again
Imperials like Kreel are the kinds of characters I want to see more of in shows. I though Crosshair would finally be a good *loyal* Imperial, but even he is going back to being a good guy, which is as disappointing as it was predictable. We need more stories about real loyal Imperials. Especially stories from their points of view.
*Yes!* The average men serving the Empire who simply believe it's a just form of government, unaware of the attrocities it's responsible for. It'd show that while the Empire itself is evil prior to the rise of the Fel Empire, those serving it are not necessarily so.
Like how Kyle Katarn was a decorated Stormtrooper before learning the Empire killed his father.
Living lightning.... UNLIMITED POWAAAAH!!
Row row, fight the powah...
Star wars comics. Where nothing happens because the story is already set in stone.
Didn't he publicly show his face to the senate and blame the jedi?
He did but that was a speech, not a person to person conversation distance
It's going to be hard to kill his whole squad with the lightsaber if he shoves it through his chest before doing it.
2:01 "take this lightsaber and shove it through his chest BEFORE taking out his entire squadron"
I think you might've messed up the order there..
It says "After I have"
@@jarskil8862the comic's wording is correct, the narrator's is not
This Trooper was probably the closest thing Vader had to a friend.
Palpatine exudes this aura of power to the point where he has to actively hide it from people. It’s no wonder that he’s able to create such a fanatic cult like the Final Order in Rise of Skywalker, he is supernaturally charismatic
The trooper might have been force sensitive.
"Three protocol droids"
...those are training remotes. Protocol droids don't shoot things. Well, they don't shoot things unless they're named "C-3PX", anyway.
It's a good story and all......but my God, Zuke looks extremely badass to me.
I need a live-action series with Sgt. Kreel. Dude is too badass to not be shown in live-action.
If I remember correctly, this same Stormtrooper later cut off _his own arm_ just to complete his mission. This guy is _tough-as-nails._
It's likely an accurate description, the master must always radiate overwhelming power with their apprentice. To inspire hunger and fear.
Well he wasnt wrong about Palpatine being a bolt of living lightning
palpatine was like living lightining, from a certain point of view.
Bro was a D1 Glazer
Its amazing what the presence of a leader or mighty hero will do to troop morale
3 protocol droids...ummm no. Those were training droids.
Thanks to you, we all now know about the legendary sergeant kuuil
Bet his Force sensitivity was a tad bit higher than you average Joe. Probably why he was attracted to the saber and he could feel the power eminating from Palps.
A bolt of living lightening: the epitome of power
I've always felt that being in Vaders presence makes you feel 10 pounds heavier, and being in Sidious' presence makes you feel like your life and energy are being drained away
this is basically what Vader meant when he said "The emperor is not as forgiving as I am"
The whole goddamn galaxy saw his face
Imagine this guy with the force
Cool story. I enjoyed a different perspective. 💪🙂👍
lol those are definitely not protocol droids 😂

Sounds like Cloud and Sephiroth.
i don't think that palatine showed disrespect in his comment. it's just an acknowledgement that he doesn't know who he is.
and kreel is far from being a nobody if he got personal training from VADER himself
Living lighting ironic 😂
I think palpatine uses lightning so much that he actually exudes it on a primal level, that other beings can sense
Well he is an old man wearing a black Cape with yellow glowing eyes. And with a voice like that, I'd be scared too.
A living thunderbolt, quite literally considering *The Emperor* has force lightning.
He said "felt like living lightning". Palpatine was capable of Force Lightning. It stands to question, was Creel force sensitive? If Vader had heard that line, he would have realized it. Given he would have either killed him because he was F.S. , or used him as a tool as Sith usually do.
Very much the Robot Chicken Emperor.
"Living lightning" really does feel like an apt description of Palpatine and his presence, even disregarding his status as a Sith Lord. As a politician, he really did manage to electrify people. He gave rousing speeches, managed to turn the entire Republic to war, and then into an Empire, his words being cheered on the entire time. He knows how to use charisma as a weapon, and can really turn around so many situations to his advantage just by applying some manipulation. In both the Disney and Legends canons, even death is more of a setback than the final defeat it ought to have been. In some ways, he's almost a force of nature, striking as he pleases to devastating effect. It's a very poetic way to view the man, but it feels appropriate - especially coming from someone who's ultimately just a lowly cog in the Imperial machine, and ultimately at the mercy of whatever Palpatine's whims might be.
still I can't seem to find this comicbook anywhere online
Comander kreel goes hard
Dude i love kreel. Hes just so cool to me.
Did you just call those training remotes, “protocol droids”?..
0:33 Those are seeker droids, not protocol droids.
I have a feeling that stormtrooper had a slightly higher than average Midichlorian count and could sense Palpatine's power, and was awestruck by it without knowing what it was.
Its possible Palpatine can manipulate the force to create an aura that strikes fear into anyone who meets him as a deterrent
If palpatine bothers himself to learn your name thats when you should feel honored or afraid depending on if your a imperial or not.
Kreel needs a show

After Vader finishes saying Kreel will never be Sith. Kreel starts doing the Vader choke pose from Ted 2 and his boys come out saying "let it go man come on".
Suppose it's similar to the idea of a Storm Giant and lightning in general in a sense that it's raw power. Power that might lash out at any second.
"I'm a stormtrooper to the core"
"Ahhh, therefore you want to use a saber because you're can't shoot. Very well then, carry on".
He must be slightly force sensitive
