I just finished this game and I think the overall setting was so incredible and I personally loved the types of questions about doing the right thing for the greatest number of people that the game tried to make players answer.
Granstream Saga; I know that one! I've always wanted to get more into it, because I've heard the argument that it's like a fourth installment in the Heaven & Earth Trilogy (Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, and Terranigma), and I've always wanted to form my own opinion on that.
I had it as a kid. Someone gave it to me and it was the most randomly picked Blockbuster rental type game I'd encountered back then. Marvel Vs Capcom, Cool boarders, Final Fantasy and...the Granstream Saga lol
Granstream Saga was strange as a kid, because the cutscenes had a well detailed anime style (before i knew what anime was) but the game itself was like fourth grade drawings.
You’re quite harsh with your criticism. I mean the story isn’t only interesting, it FANTASTIC. The writing is incredible, even if the characters get wordy at times, they do it for good reason, there are incredible philosophical discussions that I rarely see in games, there are some genuinely touching moments between characters. Even when characters say some unrelated crap, it’s usually well written and entertaining. Characters are amazing, they are deep, have different values and point of view, they grow and become better. I mean your criticism is fair, but you didn’t stress on the positives enough. The positives are incredibly good that the negatives don’t matter to me.

Awesome aesthetic, but it looks like a grind to play.

The style feels like a blend of Inside and Anno Mutationem.
Looks interesting.
Thanks for the informative review.

Thank you for watching :)
I'm starting to feel that these games are becoming more common, and it seems like this game doesn't do anything to stand out or innovate the genre
So. It just needs to be good
