Maybe you may use a liitle flywheel motor, like in toy cars to run the söip coach. That would be more natural, like there was some mass on them and these where rolling along the rail some time. Of course with your brake, you could just brake the rotating flywheel of the model coach with a little brake shoe...
He's British in GB, why would he want to do that? His railroad doesn't have the broad curves for one. I'm American, and I'm not interested in having anything as big as that. Yes, they are fascinating and massive, and I've seen at least five of the preserved eight over the years, but they have been kind of overdone by modelers of all gauges.
@@richardjayroe8922 Of course it would, he had an A4 Pacific sitting on his layout, which is a longer wheelbase engine. I just think a 4-8-8-4 is a ridiculously large engine for a small basement layout.
@@paulw.woodring7304 I agree. Big Boys really need a layout proportionate to their size and pulling power. A shunting puzzle, for example, using one would look really odd.
Hi, very nice collection of videos. Can I ask, do you know anyone that would like to buy a new R8205 Live Steam Controller and Transformer for £150, plus £15 postage?
Great video
I’ve subscribed
Looks to be very accurate considering the speed of the train. Very enjoyable video. Well done Ken
i wish i was this innovative....
That is awesome, and definitely makes the coaches more accurate to the real life ones!

I realized that. So instead how about a 4-4-2 Atlantic. I know for a fact that that will work on the curves.
