This looks like a pretty cool game tbh, like a mix between geometry dash and an average platformer. I would definitely lean into art rn tho as that part looks quite underdeveloped to me. It sounds like thats what you are next working on tho so good luck!
Good advice, yeah market is saturated, but if you search for a specific game genre almost the same games or sagas of always will pop up, most of the games in steam only are too similar to already great games, so there's not much of a reason to play them instead of the game the they are inspired from. However, if you start making a games, you don't want to make your goal to succeed as one of those top games, the goal should be to expect failure with your naive ideas to learn from them, that should be part of the fun, and with the test of those naive but new and personal ideas, with time, I think success will come in the form of chaotic but refined originally. PD: I really like those cute big dancing mushrooms, they alone make the Getting Over It kind of gameplay worth it :)
I get 5 star reviews that say "it's ok" and 1 star reviews saying "it's so much fun!". Opinions are weird. Ratings are weird. People are weird. As long as you like playing your game that's all that really matters. That and aggregates.

2:54 made me think, what if there were areas where gravity is inverted 🤔
Or blobs that reverse gravity....
