I went and got this game halfway through the first level, this is 100% the type of game I love

Well it looks like you don't get a huge amount of walls to elevate your battlements with, so there's that
Exactly I felt like I was taking crazy pills for a second! Isn’t the point of a battlement for it to be elevated? Lol
my thought to ,but i guess early game or short rounds like these with how its one segment used to form both walls and towers its better to use the battlements as silly low concentric first line and use the wall segments for more ''overview fire' towers
@@M0M0117 as far i know it is..at least enough to force a opponent to bring ladders , or siege hardware outside of that though i guess its mostly a 'brag' ..or natural terrain question..not much point building a high wall if its a sheer vertical cliff face dropping several meters your building on....maby the game devs have plans to make some proper sized maps and for the assaults to be able to climb terrain cliffs to if they are bellow x height hmm who knows.. hoppe he play more of this though love to see how it develops

the sheer amount of monty python and lord of the rings references made as a joke is one reason i love ole tom rambling games. also, the kill pit was some real medieval strat right there

I really like this. It would be cool if their was an economy. Large gates for wood, food and stone. Huts that need protection from raids. Knights you can control with a career.

Feels a little like ORKS which you plays a while back, but in 3D and somewhat not as good. It feels like it needs a lot more work, but it’s not bad!
Tom when you lose, stop moving on, you make for the worst conqueror.
hmm..could use some tweaks ,or 'additions' like..endless mode letting you have normal saves for those days you jsut want to pick 'add' onto something you already made.. though can already see potential in some sort of easy mp mode giving a reason to make actual walls ..say for staging area blocks..that have to be on the ground and influence both repair of your own stuff after attacks ,and how severe the groups sent at your opponent gets perhaps..hmm...
either way , hoppe tom plays more of it ,always nice with some overview of 'ongoing' development of tempting things.
The Wave Start fanfare reminds me of a jingle i've heard in Thomas...
Definitely a series 5 episode but it's not the fanfare for the castle from Toby's Discovery...
