Very true, as someone who does Jiu Jitsu and MMA it becomes very easy to win. Half of what it takes to bet on mma and win is understand the sport in general. Understanding particular fighters and understanding that styles make fights can really tip the edge in your favor. For example, Vicente Luque is a great fighter with solid standup and a good grappling base BUT struggles tremendously with southpaws(forgive me if I’m wrong but I don’t think he holds a victory over one in the UFC and is like 0-4 agansit them). It’s also important to understand that heavy favorites and I mean heavy favorites(-500) usually hit so use them as the foundation for a parlay if you plan on building one, but you have to know when a favorite is deemed “risky” compared to the fighter they are deemed the favorite over. For example, Whittaker Vs Chimeav was a very interesting matchup and Khamzat was seen as like a -220 favorite or something but it’s not worth the risk of betting on him due to Whittakers Pedigree and how amazing of a fighter he is(yes I know in hindset Chimeav won easily but still) compare that to a fighter such as Grant Dawson who’s an amazing fighter but is not fighting high caliber competition yet so he’s almost always a lock and a good foundation to start a parlay. MMA is a weird sport because more than anything styles make fights and if you understand the sport it can greatly help when picking fights. One thing I always bet on and usually turns out ok for me is when I bet for a veteran(someone with more than 3 fights in the UFC) beating a mediocre debut fighter(someone who is fighting for the first time in the UFC and is maybe 3-2 in thier last 5 in smaller promotions) because if there is one thing I know after doing MMA is that you can never understand the nerves someone goes through as thier about to walk out and a debut guy is going to usually be a lot more nervous then the dude who’s been there before, and that’s something odds can never take into consideration.Hope this helps
I will say this about Parleys: free bets are much better to use on Parleys. If you bet cash on 2 games you might be better to bet one at a time. However on a free bet since you don't get that bet back just the win better to add it to a parley as you add everything to the parley and just lose out on the bet at the end of the bet... Had a $5 free play on the NFL make me $80 in 2022. I made a profit on a super bowl bet on a team that only had 4 wins because of that bet...

What are your thoughts on spreading parlays? Example. If there are 5 spreads you really like. What do you think about mixing those picks up into multiple three team parlays? So for instance if 3/5 of your picks hit, and you mixed those 5 teams into 5-6 different parlays with each having three of those teams. You increase your odds no?
That's a Round Robin. It doesn't increase your odds. However, it does lower your variance. In the case of having 5 picks and mixing them into 3-team parlays, you'd need 10 parlays to make sure you got every permutation. If you only won 3 of the 5 games, you'd still end up losing a little money since each parlay likely pays about 6 to 1, but you made 10 of them. Round Robins are used by sharp bettors sometimes to bet parlays but not have to endure higher variance to do so.
if you bet a 4 team rr into 3.s its 4 bets and then the 4 picks is one play so 5 bets the system does it for you if you indicate it on the bet slip the thing is you need 3 of 4 to get one correct great if you win all 4 games i se 2 keys money lines usually and 4 or 5 plays using the 5th game both ways and 3rd and 4th both ways also small bets and bigger odds if 4 wins and some return if keys win@@Unabated
I saw in the last video that parlays are inferior to straight bets, but when you take the market efficiency into account, shouldn’t you be able to identify attractive risk/return situations? For example, I find soccer parlays attractive for parlays because you can piece together 2 highly probable outcomes, and combine it with a series of riskier bets pays out well relative to the three straight up bets. Basically, are there specific markets where parlays are more attractive? I really feel soccer falls in this category but maybe it’s just my imagination?
Parlays don't change the math of the payout. If I had two 50% coin-flips both priced at -110, they would (should) pay +264, which is the same odds as -110 * -110. When you have situations where there is correlation between two bets, in other words if one wins they are more likely both to win, sportsbooks price in that correlation. In fact, they over-price it. That's what makes Same Game Parlays so bad. If two bets have a 10% correlation, instead of reducing the payout by 10%, they'll reduce it by 30-40%. The only way to profit in that scenario is to find situations where they have priced the correlation wrong. However, the big over-correction they use typically makes that nearly impossible to find.
I do multi sport parlays, it is more of challenge to myself that I am better than the books. One TD or FG, because of miss tackle, penatly, bad officaiting will kill that perfect, if you believe in yourself, one day it will be in your favor. If you pick 8 team parlays and always losing more than half, stop doing it. If only lose by a mere 1 or 2 points because of the "wow factors" of the game, then keep doing, it will fall in your favor one day. I am preparing myself when they legalize sports betting near us, my job sucks, totally, the pay, hours, dumb azz peeps and drving to work. I see my boses working at 65 yeas old, fuk this sh1t. Expected value shouldn’t be used to justify a one time free bet promo or a risk free bet. Expected value only matters over many iterations so I feel like your logic is flawed
When n=1 anything can happen. What a bettor should be focusing on is trying to make as many n’s happen. In some states you can find many different promo bets per day. And books are always offering the “risk free” or “no sweat” bets to drum up business. It’s important to know how to use them as they come up frequently.

That is not Justin Jefferson 😂
Parlays are loser bets in the long run.
Sorry, the best bet is NOT BETTING. Don't get started with this nonsense, you will lose in the long run...
He literally says that 1:50
@@ShaheenGhiassy Not exactly...
Im sorry but if you say one of best bets is to bet on first quarter of the match you totaly dont understand betting. You can never win in these bets.
I can’t get past the Justin Jefferson imposter 🫣
