I assume you're referring to Arbitrage? I've done a few other videos on the topic, here's one for example: ua-cam.com/video/lRD3OV42HDs/v-deo.html To your question, you should start out small. Work within the constraints of your bankroll until you build it up to levels where you can start putting more money on each book that you're signed up for in your state. My main advice would be to make sure you sign up for every book in your state and take advantage of the lucrative signup bonuses. Those bonuses can really serve as a good bankroll starter.
@@OddsJam I was also talking about the middles tool. Since I have a small bankroll to start, I also do not have a lot of cash to pay for this service. I can't get +EV unless I commit to $200 per month on your platform and the cheapest is $40 month. With a small bankroll to get started, where would you suggest starting and what bets to look for to build from there? Thanks
In terms of how many books, you should download and sign-up for every book in your state. First benefit is you can collect all that sign-up bonus money which would be a great start in building your bankroll. In terms of bankroll, you should use whatever number you feel comfortable allocating to sports betting. The beauty of OddsJam is it will take into account your bankroll when it tells you the recommended bet sizes for each bet.
If you are consistently beating Closing Line Value (CLV), which would make you a +EV bettor, then yes, you will be a guaranteed long term winner. That isn't to say there won't be variance. You will have days and even weeks where you're losing. Not sure if you're a poker player, so maybe this analogy isn't the best, but imagine getting it all-in pre-flop with the best hand every time you're in a showdown. You will win over time, but there will be individual hands where you lose. Similar concept here.
Hi Tom, I went into some of the math on the optimal slip types for the DFS platforms in a recent vid. Check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/zflSdTAOFvE/v-deo.html As far as traditional sportsbooks (like DK, FanDuel or Caesars, etc), there isn't a optimal number of plays you can put into a parlay as they are not fixed payout platforms.
Not necessarily. The recommended bet size feature will take into account what your bankroll is when it tells you how much to bet on each play. As an example, let's say you have $500 spread across all the books you're signed up for...your recommended bet size might be $2 or $3 for some bets or as high as $15-$20 for others. It's all relative to your bankroll size and as that grows, the recommended bet sizes will grow accordingly.
Hello, I noticed that you said that to use the computer, but also said you have 50+ apps on your phone. Do you use your phone for placing bets ever and do you recommend the computer for speed?
Hey there, yes, using the computer is the optimal way of doing it as these bets come and go quickly. Sometimes, it's logistically not feasible so sometimes you have to use mobile. But for things like arbitrage, particularly, it's much better to use your computer.
@@OddsJam i currently use optimal. Is oddsjams’ EV model better than optimal? Is oddjams just comparing the outlier book to the mean? It seems like optimal mostly just compares to pinnacle but optimal doesn’t publicize their model. If oddsjams model is better could you please explain why?
Since traditional Sports Betting isn't legal in California, I would recommend getting fliff, if you don't already have it. Outside of that, you can always go the DFS route and sign up for all the dfs pick'em platforms available. I covered that in the Fantasy Optimizer portion of this video, and we have a bunch of other videos on the channel of how to be profitable on those platforms. Here's one you should check out: ua-cam.com/video/dtQ2_xze1OI/v-deo.html
I had a problem with the middle tool betting, basically it told me that a bookie had a mispricing at over 2.5 (tennis sets) but when i opened that bookie (bwin) there was no u/o option, you could only bet on a precise amouunt of sets
Question if I’m only a DFS Player like Prizepicks underdog sleeper chalkboard and a content creator would you specifically recommend the fantasy optimizer?
Be sure to only risk what you can afford to lose. You can definitely still be profitable with a smaller bankroll. Email us contact@oddsjam.com if you have any questions.
Has anyone actually used and were successful using the fantasy optimizer. Looking back at those plays posted, every play that was on screen (besides ESports) was wrong.
Yes! In fact it has multiple soccer leagues around the world including: Australia - A - League Belgium - Juplier Pro League Brazil - Serie A Brazil - Serie B England - Championship England - EFL Cup England - FA Cup England - League 1 England - League 2 France - Ligue 1 Germany - Bundesliga Italy - Serie A Japan - J1 League Mexico - Liga MX Romania - Liga I Russia - Premier League Spain - La Liga UEFA - Champions League UEFA - Europa League USA - MLS

Hey Alex thanks for all you do! I’m signed up on monthly sub with oddsjam loving it so far. I want to get middling tool next but what sports books are even available in CA? I already have Fliff, but that’s it..I could get bovada I think as well
Thanks for signing up! Ya, California is tough for traditional sportsbooks, but fortunately the middles tool (as well as the PEV tool) also work great for fixed payout platforms like PrizePicks & Underdog! I'm out in CA as well and have been mostly betting on these DFS platforms, and the OJ tools are really useful for putting together profitable slips. I went into more specificity on the math behind all these DFS platforms in a recent vid. You should check it out: ua-cam.com/video/zflSdTAOFvE/v-deo.html
would fantasy optimizer tool be best if i just started betting? seems like the easiest to understand since it doesnt involve as much numbers like the others tools.
The Fantasy Optimizer is a great tool! It sort of depends on where you live. If you're in a state that has a ton of traditional sportsbooks (fanduel, DK, Caesars, etc), I think the PEV tool is also super easy to use. As I explained in the vid, all you do is check the box on the books you're signed up for, and the bets just pop up. Same goes for the Arbitrage tool. It's really all about your preference and what's available to you in your location (i.e how many books you have available to you).
