This is largely a sound bike that was in current use with its minor faults. It could do with a couple of parts and a mornings work. The machine must now be sold, so the bike is entered in to this auction for a quick disposal.
The bike has an electric start 2-stroke single cylinder liquid cooled engine, like the Aprilia RS125 & the Cagiva Mito 125. I am not sure of this but it looks like Gilera might use the same engine as the Aprilia RS125.
After having ridden the bike I can now be sure that it has been de restricted, it feels every bit as fast as the Mito or RS125.
The videos in this description are intended to give you an idea of the wear and tear, and any defects that I have found, whilst examining and testing the bike.
It is worth keeping in mind that with a certain percentage of auction wins, the buyer does not do any more than win the auction. So if you do not win the bidding or you miss the auction end then it may be worth you asking me if I am going to re list the bike (if it is still for sale).

derestricted ive got 97mph out of it, but restricted its about 80mph
it also goes from 0-60 in 6 secs de-restricted
handling wise, i cant really judge as ive only ever ridden that bike, but for any consultation Ive managed to get a knee down.
build quality is much desired compared to a aprillia which is reflected in the price however the engine runs like a dream.
only thing i dislike is the mirrors being so close to the bike.
The bike is stunning, the handling is amazing, even rides nicer than the R125, and I managed to get 105 just by tailgating the R1 down the dual-carraigeway in s-wales, I'm going to miss my Gilera as i learnt how to get my knee down, wheelies and other stuff, so I'm moving onto my cafe racer, my CB500 for thundersport gp next year. The main problem is the 2 strokes they develop lots of problems like engine rebuilding and needs extra care than the 4 stroke, so i treated it like it's my own baby!
Lol just read the description and you think its the same engine as thr rs?!? Have you looked on the case lol it says "yamaha" it uses the dt/tzr engine
but that's a gpr 125 :S
Gilera SC 125 and Derbi GPR 125 is the same bike. Derbi builded in Spain and Gilera builded in Italia, but same bike
