The Justin Smith fumble recovery, and Frank Gore long run to ice the victory on the road against a seemingly quality opponent just didn't happen with the Singletary or Nolan years.

Michael Vick was a dual threat quarterback as well as a pocket passer. We loved him in Philadelphia as Coach Reid praised him for his leadership. Patrick Willis needs to be in the Hall of Fame.

They finished so strong at the end of the year when things finally clicked and finished as the only team with top 10 offence and defence from memory. Ended up missing the playoffs by 1 game (eagles had tiebreaker) to the 9-7 giants that won the Super Bowl. Would’ve changed so many legacies like Eli, Coughlin and potentially Vick, Reid, etc
