- Overpowered Infinity Villager Trading in the Overworld? Yep.
In this video we go through the details of void trading, how it works, then work to design a system that implments it in the overworld in a flexible and compact mannner.
Then we also review the final design of the trading hall and explain how and why the system is designed as it is.

Other thoughts:
I did not include other ways of trigger stasis chambers in this video, but there are some interesting ways that may make the technology simpler and faster. Tricks like the fishing rod are very interesting.
The other thought was something that @_darkvictor_ showed, a way to throw many ender pearls and active one at a time with some "wireless redstone". So perhaps one of you can dig into this concept and come share!

This channel is like a hidden gem. Content is like candy to the curious mind.
The quality and effort shows.
The concepts covered are genuinely useful.
Underrated channel.
Great work! :D
ikr
this channel deserves more love
no it doesnt, all i want is a tutorial not someone explaining 10000 things instead of a stupid tutorial because their too lazy@@ourfastestfox1481
I love the part when you say that its more complicated then other types of void trading but in the "End" its not that bad.
Why doesn't this video have a million views
Cus it's just out...
Because it’s a niche 1 hour old mc video
Cause kids think ShulkerCraft is more fun.
Because a million people didn’t view it
most people look at this and just react with 🤓
Hearing the start of the intro I thought this was going to be a discussion about how villagers a kind of overpowered, but it was in fact the opposite.
The void trading setup is cool.
Lol. Honestly I wish they would nerf villagers, but if you can't beat them.. join them..
@@NicoisLOSTthis aged poorly
As an engineering feat I must applaud you but for my single word use this is way beyond my practical. Im not even sure if this is a thing in Bedrock but I'm curious to find out, not that I would build one of these. I've built complicated systems in the past with all manner of spaghetti rail systems but recently adopted the kiss method of simplicity over complicated to get the same if not better results. I understand the challenges of it but I also understand that you don't have to kill a mosquito with a bazooka.
I very much enjoy your videos, I just discovered your channel. Although I'm an old Bedrock redstoner, your videos are very informative. Much appreciate your efforts! GG!
Keep uploading videos, you are a legend ❤
You're a Rockstar ;-)
Informative, wholistic, and interesting. Great work!
I suppose you could also have two different hubs of any arbitrary distance apart using truely wireless redstone, although some portion of either hub (or their Nether side at least) would have to always be loaded to ensure that the wireless redstone actually works- Still, it's just kind of a neat idea to void trade from thousands of blocks away instead of less than 200 blocks away, and it's definitely doable... although it provides no additional benefit...
Always a treat to see in the sub box.
Really cool!
I was thinking of IET tbh but still great solution!
Awesome video!
I just built a trading hall based on your Cell design, for the minecart recycler I just have a chest minecart that gets fed any used minecarts and then runs in a big circle over hoppers on all of the Subsections Dispensers. For the zombie-fication I managed to get it reasonable smooth after a bit of working using a counting system triggered by string. But the real trick was using a stair and slab rather than rails to hold the zombie in a minecart, this stopped any sideways movement but made it amazingly fast to infect when combined with a zombie with a sharpness sword. Also for my kill chamber, it's literally a chamber where villagers get dropped off with togglable lava, I tend to like to send villagers to there to clear the system but the lava is mostly off as I like to have a buffer to avoid accidents, it also allows me to move in replacements and then only kill the old villager once the new one is in place.
Awesome!!!Big Like 🌟💗
Wishing you the best of luck in growing your channel
Thank you so much!
Such a nice Channel. One of the newer Videos about Hopper got recommended to me and i really started to love your videos.
Anyways: Is there a Tutorial up for something like this? i don't think my brain can understand it only from this one here haha
Looking. forward to more in this series
This guy deserves more subscribers
A+ content
Your videos are awesome =>
Thanks :-]. I love your profile picture ;-)
Something about harnessing the power of the most broken but also by far most annoying mechanic in the game (villagers) in a fully engineered system complete with multiple fail safes is deeply satisfying to watch.
Nico is BACK
Clean design! Do you have a nitwit filter for your villager breeder or do they clog up your system and have to be "fired"?
i pay more attention to this than i ever did in school XDD
Very nice
lowkey aint liking the fact that you dont have at LEAST 200k subs. effort and much more is appricated my man, keep this up and i see nothing but succses.
Thanks :-]
this guy is a underdog for youtube
Literally so freaking smart
nice vid
This is such an awesome series!
Did you consider moving yourself and the villager both closer to each other, so you would only need to transport yourself over 18 blocks? Did you consider the y axis and rapid pistonbolt like transportation on ice or similar surface towards the villager. Did you consider TNT propulsion or Entity knockback as a viable transportation method to move yourself those 37 blocks without requirement for running or minecarts?
If you lose altitude when moving to the villager similar type of movement system can move you back and you can still reach to throw the enderpearl inside the chamber which is some blocks above you to return yourself back in to the original starting position.
Could you do like a schematic for this please? Nice vid!
Would this void trading thing function just fine without the portals just two trade chambers and two stasis machines
I usually just build the practical stacking raid farm by ianxofour, then I dont have to worry about zombifying because with that farm you just swim in emeralds.
Pretty well edited video with lots of content, maybe just a little slow compared to what people with no patience can take in
Can you not make a redstone line vorm the chungloader to the Edge of the borderchung so that the viligar is outside of the lazy chungs becoarse redstone works in the lazy chungs or dose it Not?
2:32 Nico this may be the worst house in all of Minecraft history (I love it)
A technical criticism here, you refer to the max chunk sim -2 as the "ticking chunks" but this is not actually accurate from my testing. There is another more limited chunk array that seems to handle random game tick events such as leaf decay and growable objects (crops, saplings, etc.) Currently (1.20.4) it appears that these random tick updates only occur within a hard set 7x7 chunk radius around the player meaning anything past exactly 8 chunks from you will not undergrow growth or decay no matter what you set your simulation distance to.
This is the random tick range which is seperate than entity processing (since it is ticking blocks not entities). The random tick range will tick every block in a chunk that is within 128 blocks of a player. I explain it in my Gold Farm video in more detail of you would like to see some visualizations.
What if you made the stasis chambers [render distance]+2 chunks apart, so that loading is as simple as moving 2 chunks over? Then you don't have to worry about the 15 second portal cooldowns
They you couldn't trigger the chamber because it wouldn't be loaded
As I said loading would mean moving 2 chunks. Maybe 1 if you can trigger the pearl in a redstone chunk? But you could do something like the ianxofour setup where you're pushed a short distance, or even use a second pearl. Maybe not as convenient for how the player interacts with it but it's a way to trade more times per min, and without a clock you could have unlimited time to do your trades and teleport back
got hit with a nostalgia wave from the background audio lmao
why is it when I unload a villager with papermc the GUI disappears
Dude is quantum tunelling in minecraft.
I don't care too much about "ermahgerd best ultimate most efficient farm" youtube titles. But when I see a thumbnail saying "maximum exploitation", pointing at a minecraft villager, my Schadenfreude kicks in.
does this work in latest version?
Pinaple?
Absolute Rockstar ;-]
Can void trading be done on bedrock?
super cool i love to learn new things about the game. one thing is i would like a step by step guide to build this.
Is there a tutorial step by step for this?
This is great for background noise, not because im not listening, or watching, or that I think its bad, Im just simply not intelligent enough to understand all of this :(
Does this work in bedrock
10:59 you could preload a bunch of pearls if you designed the system with ender pearl entity separation in mind such as in Dark's video. That would make the trade window the full 10 seconds.
ua-cam.com/video/1-bBV5mHmgo/v-deo.html
Yeah I linked dark's video I'm the description. I would love for some people to dig into this as I don't think I will but it's very interesting.
What a small world, I have a modified version of Dark's stasis chamber, using the stack separation component but not the shadow items. And...the small world part is that we're going to be deploying a version of this (with catstone options) on Nico's SMP as part of some public infrastructure we have been planning.
@@rendezvous_ is there a world or schematic download of your modification readily downloadable anywhere? I was going to make one for myself but it would be convenient to not have to
Bedrock or Java?
so is the world download free

Another way to abuse the power of villagers, is to supply each villager with a bed, then have a zombie or pillager constantly scare them in order to make them spawn an iron golem. Make every surrounding block non-spawnable, then create a platform or waterway for the golems to spawn in, effectively making a built in iron golem farm ran off your traders.
I do this on my servers to save time and resources on a dedicated farm.
I'm half way through the video so I'd like to make a guess or at least find an answer. Pearl station into instant death with loot capture bed at the villager 😅 ez pz
You take the casual minecraft game play break it down and optimize the heck out it. I'm just curious when not playing minecraft what on God's green earth do you do to satisfy that urge to optimize the crap out of minecraft

How villagers work is totally inaceptable.
I'll use this until genetically modified villagers with no locking are a thing.
I remember when they first added that feature, but it was sort of broken so you were actually able to deplete all the trades exactly 25 times a Minecraft day (assuming you can keep up during work hours) so it wasn't so bad, but then they made it actually work and now we can normally only do it 2 times a game day... 25 was enough of a nerf for me, since even then they were basically useless at night.
Third I love you
