9:38 - This was the precursor concept of a computer animation type called "tweening", very popularly used in adobe flash... was made as a series of "property frames" or "key frames" essentially we want this object here... to go from what it looks like in this first frame... to this other frame (another key frame)... we want this to happen over this many frames... so the computer "tweens" (short for "inbetweening") essentially draws all the frames between filing in all the necessary part/line/color changes/movements and builds all the frames between point A and B to ACTUALLY get from point A to point B.
