Just a side note. You skipped the part about aligning the caliper piston to the inner brake pad- raised "nipple" for want of a better word, for the handbrake to work effectively. I know you know, but just for anyone else reading or doing a bit of diy. Cheers
I understand that 100% it's not really a brake video as such, I've done lots of transit brake videos in depth. I don't want to be repetitive if I can help it. But I've noted this for next time 👍
great video Baz transits not the same as years gone by bolts always seizing I also have a old tin of copper slip with a brush use on everything once stripped I read it rots rubber but never seen it myself its all the prep work before fitting
I wonder if a electric heat gun on bolt would work never done transit arms but it's worked on many bolts seized in on other vans and cars but a good way still and thanks for vids
Just about to tackle this job and that bolt on mine is rock solid. I'll be using your technique for sure. Thanks
Worked like a champ. Thanks for the info!

I hear that lots do use an induction heater, but I'm kinda old school
@@bazmeredithyour method is way more fail proof getting the heat exactly where it’s needed
