Did something similar but without cutting old wishbone as only bought new rear bushes . Offside rear bolt doesn't seem to be holding as if thread stripped on captive nut ?
Great video. Not sure if you can help. I have a 2017 Custom. It has 20inch wheels. We are trying to fit Ralyplapz mudgurds. Problem - the n/s front there is not enough clearance between tyre and mudflap when turning steering. Have had a full steering geometry check which is all good. Any idea what could be wrong ? Can the subframe be moved to get more clearance? suggestions
The Rear wheel drive models - there should be a simple bolt in transmission cross-member replacement. It only ever rots where it catches the undercarriage wind, rots at the stamped rolled lip. There needs to be a fast, cut trans cross-member and bolt in replacement. Instead of having to drop the subframe on BOTH models no matter WHERE the rot is located. Just about the most stoopid design - this is a PHD engineers solution... "Eureka - one big bolt, holds it all together. By Joe, one bolt, that's it!".
great video fords are shit now reminds me of old ford sierra bushes what chance as DIY have does that have a wet timing belt does 0/30w not rot them cheap bushes and van not too old
Good work sir well done.
You forgot to drop the hot bolt on the floor then pick it up 2 seconds later and be surprised how hot it still is : )
😂😂😂😂
Good job 👍
Cheers buddy 🤙

How did you slip the engine forward?
Thanks Baz. What pens are you using to date components?
Paint pens off Amazon £9 for a pack of different colours
