i love how in this representation no brakes their own lanes/formations for no reason...this makes it more realistic battle scenes then in an actual movie lol
glad it wasnt like this in the film, saurumans army must have been a million strong, while the elves and rohan seemed to have about 5,000. and the riders arrived a day too late
a really nice job[and i personally can appreciate the time and effort put into this - winks] ..some great camera shots, editing, and sound all make for a compiling video - nice job! ...especially like the tree line at the end[as that completes the battle as the orcs move into the trees and the ents and huorns finish the rest] ..:P
The two 'bits' I missed most in the films from the books was the Fangorn Forest coming to Helms Deep and the harrowing of the Shire when the Hobbits return home and find Saruman in charge.
You must have given Theoden's riders near invulnerable stats for that to work, considering how hard it is for cavalry to pull through or out of engagements in that game. xD I also like how in this version the cavalry isn't charging headlong into pikes like they don't care...
yes Sarumans orcs were the height of men because he crossed the species. normally orcs were just a more muscular version of a goblin. from Tolkien's description orcs looked like apes but sarumans orcs had human height and squinty eyes.
medieval 2 will always be better. Just feels much more natural in every sense. Attilia is mostly an unnatural choppy mess. The clashes barely feel satisfying apart from maybe cavalry charges
@@shieldphaser Attila has either better or the same systems you mentioned as medieval 2, if it’s not working properly for you I suggest upgrading your pc so your not stuck playing a game from a decade plus ago 😉 for real you can only deep throat that nostalgia for so long before you have to admit you just don’t have a good pc 🤷🏻♂️
@@austinduff6493 Well that's just rude. For the record I have attila and can run it just fine. It's just not as fun to play though. Auto-replenishment just totally destroys the point of fighting a losing battle.
Just sad that such amazing elvish archers come to war with one 3 arrows in their quiver . When you do the math you at 100% kill shot you can only kill 6000 orcs (assuming there were 2000 elves) . Makes sense why they lost the fortress.
3:12 Longbows can shoot arrows 450 - 1,000 feet, depending on the arrows. A shame the AI didn't have the highly accurate elves firing before the enemy made it that close. 3:40 🤦♂The AI just zooming those ladders up and climbing just as fast, _then_ the elves start firing ... at those on the ground. 4:44 The mod giving a six lane road for advancement. 🤣 5:29 The saddest wall explosion ever. That explosion had erectile dysfunction. 😆 And the horse riding. 🏇Ugh, so sad. Here the charging horses just stop when they touch the bad guys, but run again when they lose their rider. A shame that the mod wasn't as on par as your cinematography here. You did a superb job! 👍
only criticisms are: where is the tower on helms deep? it looks weird without it and no aragorn, legolas, gimli but ig its difficult to implement in attila
only 3 elves. the race of Numenor were 1/2 elves of the kings like Aragon and looked like him being called rangers. there were 35 as they could not all come.
I know it is fantasy. But something nags me a lot: how the hell Saruman or whoever provided for this army? Economics was totally forgotten there. What did they eat? Who paid for that? With what money?
Well, in the books Saruman was already involved in the Shire. Safe to say he got some stuff from there, pipe-weed being one thing. I'm sure he had his sources, just like Sauron's armies from Mordor were kept fed by slave labor from lands far away, as nothing really grows in Mordor. As for the wages for soldiers and how they paid for stuff, I have no clue, but paying for stuff is usually a good people thing, bad people usually steal/cheat/coerce, etc.
Rip, gandalfs horse got the netflix adaptation treatment
🐈⬛ 🤣
Don't worry it will change in next patch 😅
What I've been waiting for for YEARS! An actual representation of the battle
I am 1:30 in and the editing is good enough to make me upvote. Fantastic work
Oh wow, first total war cinematic I've seen that actually shows lore -- makes it all the more immersive! Hope you make more of these, Mike!
i love how in this representation no brakes their own lanes/formations for no reason...this makes it more realistic battle scenes then in an actual movie lol
I think in the actual movie the uruks are suppose to be “newborns” so they were not used to war and there orcs so I guess they just wanted blood fast
It just like the movie ?I didn't know the archer didn't aim up when they fired
Yeah, I really like how the elves waited until the Uruk Hai started climbing the ladders before firing their arrows at them. 😂
This is a better love story than Twilight.
Good work, can't wait to see when the official Helm's Deep map comes out
Sir we're surrounded
Good then we can't miss
glad it wasnt like this in the film, saurumans army must have been a million strong, while the elves and rohan seemed to have about 5,000. and the riders arrived a day too late
Uruk hai army was 10000
A million strong? Are you daft
Aragon tells King T is about 10 000 strong.
Sauramon tells worm his army is 10,000 strong
Those numbers cannot match The Big 3s Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas.

Very good job. Thanks!
that was Amazing Absolute masterpiece
Imagine the battle of the last alliance with hundreds of thousands of units

how did u do that man. ! !! ! thats very impresive. Congrats..
music makes me want to charge the uruk spear wall.
Wow its bigger battle than in the movie 😮
Especially since the movie had 10,000 Uruk-hai rather than 36,000...
Thanks for using my map, it will look even more epic when official DD Helms Deep gets released
The orc has some nice armored

thans dude amazing mod
Beautiful 10/10
When people say Attila isn’t the best total war I will send them here 😂 this is amazing!!
Eh. Doesn't beat medieval 2. It has physical projectiles, a better recruitment and replenishing system, and the third age divide and conquer submod.
medieval 2 will always be better. Just feels much more natural in every sense. Attilia is mostly an unnatural choppy mess. The clashes barely feel satisfying apart from maybe cavalry charges
@@jesss7438 you should upgrade your PC, your really missing out if you think medieval 2 out does Attila and you really shouldn’t have to go without.

Well made, trample effect could use some polish but I love the scale of this.
Bro that was epic
Beautifully made, thank you :)
they should add an uruk to the tops of those siege ladders
Your channel is underrated
You deserve 1000 subs or 1M i subscribed:)
I recommend recording the game in half or less speed and then speed up the video so that it will not stutter.
I love it so much !
Where are the pikes on the front lines against the magical suicidal cavalry charge?!
The only thing Legolas, Aragorn and Gimli were missing

Nice work, but why so many, was it not only north of 10k?
The abrupt cut offs of the music is jarring and I can't believe you cut out the clash of the cav going down the hill.
Other than that, great work

I suggest to you to look at the developers of the mod ( The Dawnless Days) there is a preview of an official Helm's Deep map
How do you get the game to run this smoothly with that many numbers
2:17 the fps drops right there geez
Seems weird to say it, but the Medieval II LotR mod actually does this better than the Attila version.
The medieval 2 mod is honestly insanely good
How did you make such a large army?
only 3 elves. the race of Numenor were 1/2 elves of the kings like Aragon and looked like him being called rangers. there were 35 as they could not all come.
cool but what are your pc specs ? cause goddamn
Are you with the players or have you used a mod for multiplying units? If yes, please give the name of the mod
hi, I have used a mod for the bigger units, its on the steam workshop, called Dawnless Days Massive Armies Submod.
What specs did you run this battle on?
Funny orcs carry pikes to assault a fortresses
That's because Rohan is famous for Cavalry attacks. They came prepared. It definitely worked a lil against charges on foot.
Большая работа, впечатляет.
Но миньки персонажей слишком несоразмерны с объектами недвижимости
Why didn’t the archers shoot first
Yo how’d you get those ladders? Was it part of the last update?
Hey, it was part of the 0.6.1 update in October 22.

what total war is this ? medieval ? or empire
Ohjj
are you playing this on multiplayer or with AI? because the AI I fight against is stupid af, cant even get to the wall
Game name
Bit disproportional: at the first part we can see Only elves army acting strange futhermore..
what system is this on?

loose the arrowwtrails.
10:37 - орда вооружена пиками.
10:47 - пики исчезают.
В реальном бою даже плохо обученые орки, в таком количестве пикинеров пустили конницу на шашлык.
Aww man, it has Elves, not the real battle then.
de dia ? .... ya pierde el video entero xD
no elves in this battle only in holeass of peter jackson film
too many troops... unrealistic

I was watching with interest until the elves appeared. Don't make the same mistake Peter Jackson did.
nice try, but PJ was better =P
What is the name of the game?
