Imagine WadZee literally beating the Cursed Difficulty... Fundy 8 months later: Finally! After 8 months, I've made the Never-ending Nightmare difficulty where every 1 second you die!
I wanted to make some suggestions to Cursed 2.0: 1. Ender crystals take 3 hits to destroy 2. If the player is in a cold biome they will freeze without armor 3. As soon as you enter a village a raid begins 4. Illagers have two iron axes, like how wither skeletons have two swords 5. Any mob on fire can burn you if you are near them and Blazes can burn you even if you have a shield or fire protection armor 6. Silverfish can be disguised as any block 7. There is no more potions (for realism) 8. Enderman can instantly teleport 9. Villagers will avoid you if you hold out a weapon 10. If a bed is used more than three times it will begin to hurt you because you had a "uncomfortable sleep" 11. Using any type of pickaxe, axe, sword, shovel, or hoe can give you a splinter 12. Moving for too long will make you get slower from exhaustion 13. If you look at the sun you will get blindess for 5 seconds 14. Skeletons arrows will burn, poison, weaken, and slow whoever is hit 15. If you take a chest from a villager house all the iron golems will turn hostile and villagers will never trade with you (cause you are a thief) Other people can use this to also give suggestions to Fundy and I really enjoy what Fundy does.
I had an idea for a new (serious) difficulty: "Reallife difficulty" Might sound boring and like a lot needs to be modded for that, but no. I think the coding effort could be less or even to Nightmare or Cursed difficulties while it's also very hard and it related to reallife rules: Rules / What should change/happen? 1. A big change to the damage system: If you get hurt IRL it hurts for some time.. so why not in Minecraft? - Every damage you take has a chance to let you bleed until death if you don't stop it by using bandages (for Minecraft simply rightclick / use papers). - If you take any damage, it will cripple you for 1 minute "on specific body parts": (It could simply be randomized by script where you take the damage) -- Legs: Slowness effect, unable to run and jump -- Torso/Back: Unable to crouch, run and jump -- Left Arm: Unable to place any block and swim -- Right Arm: Unable to break any block and swim -- Head: Neusea effect - If you have a scald in reallife it will also last for long, while it doesn't let you bleed / cripple you necessarily, so for Minecraft's sake any damage you take from lava/fire/burning won't let you lose health, but will reduce your max health for some time (like 3 minutes), before it regenerates. 2. The height you can live at - If you are too high the air gets too thin to breathe properly and if you are in a deep mine oxygen might get low too. So better be careful to not go on the highest mountains or in the deepest cave in Minecraft since at heights over 100 or below 33 you will slowly suffocate (In MC you could take the oxygen bar from diving and take the same amount of damage as you would drown) 3. Carry "limits" - Carrying a lot of (heavy) stuff is exhausting. So you should prevent having an inventory filled with stacks of blocks: (Unstackable Items like Sword, Pickaxe etc will count as one stack of blocks) -- 0 - 9 stacks without having any effect -- 9 - 15 stacks will let your hunger drop faster -- 15 - 21 stacks will apply slowness to you -- 21+ stacks will make you unable to jump 4. Be aware of physics - As you carry more items (so, as heavier you are) the more fall damage you will take. - Fall damage > 25% of your max health will cripple your legs for 1 minute (see effects above at 1.) - Fall damage > 50% of your max health will cripple your legs and arms for 1 minute (see effects above at 1.) - Fall damage > 75% of your max health will cripple all body parts for 1 minute (see effects above at 1.) - Water saves your ass if you fall? It does.. up to some points. If you fall >20 blocks/meters it will start to hurt you. - (IDK if thats possible..) If you place "unsupported" blocks (with no block below it in 3 blocks range) it will drop/fall to the ground (maybe without animation). --That would make house and especially bridge building on nether/caves much harder 5. Stay hydrated - I know there is no real indicator for that but a screen message or chat output could do: -- Once each Minecraft day you have to drink one bucket of water (rightclick a waterbucket), else you will take damage like from starvation. -- If you are in the Nether or near Lava you have to drink 4 buckets per day (simply the timer goes 4x as fast) 6. Why not some logic or funny things (again)? - Low chance of stumbling, which let you drop your inventory - Low chance of getting bitten by a fish while swimming in a water source (dealing 0,5 - 2 hearts) - If you stay < 0,5 blocks apart from fire/lava you will start burning - If you eat the same food more than 3 times in a row you lack vitamins/minerals and get poisoned. - Weapons/Tools have a low chance to randomly break when used (the lower its durability the higher that chance) - idk what else, feel free :D .. but it should somehow make sense in reallife, pls no exploding grass xD

Heh... how about... When you step on stone for more than 1 and a half seconds, it turns into Lava. When you go to sleep, you get levitation infinite like your dying and floating up. So good luck getting down- If you eat anything, there is a 75% chance it was “Spat on and eaten and pooped out from a Wither” and it kills you and then gives you poison, Nausea 50, Mining Fatigue 50, slowness 50, blindness 50, and Wither 1 all until you die again, exept for the Wither which is 5 seconds. But to make it worse, you get resistance 10 so- good luck dying ._. Every ITEM, not slot in your inventory, gives you slowness. (So if you have a stack of something, you have slowness 64.) When you craft, you have a 75% chance of getting a splinter and it gives you poison 100 and Nausea 100 until you die. When you use a Furnace, there is a 75% chance you will get lit on fire and you can’t get put out, with water and a Potion won’t work. Nothing. If you spend 10 days on the Overworld, the Dragon comes for a “Friendly Greet Neighbor” visit. Instead of water Disappearing, which can be used for easy fishing, it auto-kills you. If you make eye contact with any hostile mob (like Enderman hiss at you when you look at them in normal minecraft), you get slowness 2000000000 and Weakness 2000000000, so it kills you easily. If you eat ANYTHING with Sugar (this is also combined with the food thing), you get speed 1000000000, Haste 1000000000, and Jump Boost (I think) 10000000 all for 10 seconds, then you get Wither 10 forever until you die like the sugar kills you. Then, instead of making it impossible to win, when you defeat the Ender Dragon, you have to fight Rain, the Dragon Prince from Fractures. (Rainimator Reference, you wouldn’t understand.) so yea- good luck...
imagine your near the end of a speedrun, you go in the end portal, you spawn on a platform over the void and then you trip and all of your stuff falls into the void that's is my recipe for instant depression, anger and self-pity
i know fundy wont make another difficulty, but if anyone wants something utterly stupid to make it harder, here is some ideas: -Going into the end immediately starts a raid -All end portals are not filled and you require all eyes of ender -Sleeping in beds explode -Ender pearls spawn a random mob every time you throw it -the item your holding turns into dirt if you hold it for too long -All mods are hostile and constantly chase you -Effects last 3x as long (unless they are good effects) -When coming out of a portal,the portal immedietly gets destroyed -Every so often you randomly take damage -When it turns night mobs spawn right on you -Grass spreads -ender dragon sounds are much louder -Creepers make a massive explosion -Getting hit by any mob immedietly gives you 3-10 seconds of nausea -Enderdragon heals 1 hp every 2 seconds, weather the crystals are destroyed or not -NETHER AND OVERWORLD MOBS SPAWN IN THE END -Skeletons shoot TNT that immedietly explodes -dealing damage to the enderdragon has a 10% chance to spawn a zombie right at your face -getting to 0 hunger levels gives you slowness 6 until you get over 1 hunger bar. -all food items have a random chance to give you poision -Blazes shoot incredibly fast -All mobs have a super super low chance to deal 4x damage -Cave sounds play everywhere, no matter where you are (just for extra pain) -Staring at the sun gives you blindness for 30 seconds -Sprinting damages you sometimes -When you kill a mob, 4 more can sometimes appear (Does not effect enderdragon) -Entering a nether portal will sometimes spawn a wither -Ghasts will always shoot at you -THE WORLD BORDER IS SHRINKING VERY SLOWLY -Being at max hearts will give you nausea until you no longer are at max -Enderman spawn 4x more often in the end -All end crystals are barricaded in wood, meaning you will have to block up to destroy them -You need the dragon egg to finish the game -Touching xp will damage you for 1 heart -You need to craft items twice -Armor has a chance to have curse of binding on it -Dieing once will give you perm weakness (the amplifier will depend on the amount of times you died) -When destroying end crystals, a random mob will spawn on you -slimes are massive -Spiders and cave spiders will turn into an army of skeletons when they notice you -Standing on grass blocks for too long will give you a random harmful potion effect -Dropping items destroys the item you dropped -The enderdragon moves much faster and stays for less time on the bedrock thing -Smelting of any kind takes an hour -At night time, you have blindness -Every minute a chunk in a 1000 block radius will dissapear (will not be the chunk your standing on) -enderpearls have a 1/6 chance to randomly spawn you somewhere in a 300 block radius -Eyes of ender have a much higher chance to break -Ghasts spawn much more often -You cannot pause the game for more then 3 minutes or else you die in game And finally, when you SOMEHOW beat the dragon, the portal will go up 100 blocks into the sky, and will be protected by angry enderman man i just wrote a whole ass essay

Use a seed with an end portal that is fully generated already, just take the 2 hours of safe time waiting for the withers to despawn and slowly chipping away at the dragon's health, when your done, fun fact about the exit portal, it regenerates every once in a while, so wait in the frame for the one tick it regenerates, it might work.

- I know there is no real indicator for that but a screen message or chat output could do:
-- Once each Minecraft day you have to drink one bucket of water (rightclick a waterbucket), else you will take damage like from starvation.
-- If you are in the Nether or near Lava you have to drink 4 buckets per day (simply the timer goes 4x as fast)
6. Why not some logic or funny things (again)?
- Low chance of stumbling, which let you drop your inventory
- Low chance of getting bitten by a fish while swimming in a water source (dealing 0,5 - 2 hearts)
- If you stay < 0,5 blocks apart from fire/lava you will start burning
- If you eat the same food more than 3 times in a row you lack vitamins/minerals and get poisoned.
- Weapons/Tools have a low chance to randomly break when used (the lower its durability the higher that chance)
- idk what else, feel free :D .. but it should somehow make sense in reallife, pls no exploding grass xD

When you go to sleep, you get levitation infinite like your dying and floating up. So good luck getting down-
If you eat anything, there is a 75% chance it was “Spat on and eaten and pooped out from a Wither” and it kills you and then gives you poison, Nausea 50, Mining Fatigue 50, slowness 50, blindness 50, and Wither 1 all until you die again, exept for the Wither which is 5 seconds. Every ITEM, not slot in your inventory, gives you slowness. (So if you have a stack of something, you have slowness 64.)
When you craft, you have a 75% chance of getting a splinter and it gives you poison 100 and Nausea 100 until you die.
When you use a Furnace, there is a 75% chance you will get lit on fire and you can’t get put out, with water and a Potion won’t work. Nothing.
If you spend 10 days on the Overworld, the Dragon comes for a “Friendly Greet Neighbor” visit.
Instead of water Disappearing, which can be used for easy fishing, it auto-kills you.
If you make eye contact with any hostile mob (like Enderman hiss at you when you look at them in normal minecraft), you get slowness 2000000000 and Weakness 2000000000, so it kills you easily.
If you eat ANYTHING with Sugar (this is also combined with the food thing), you get speed 1000000000, Haste 1000000000, and Jump Boost (I think) 10000000 all for 10 seconds, then you get Wither 10 forever until you die like the sugar kills you.
Then, instead of making it impossible to win, when you defeat the Ender Dragon, you have to fight Rain, the Dragon Prince from Fractures. (Rainimator Reference, you wouldn’t understand.) so yea- good luck...

i know fundy wont make another difficulty, but if anyone wants something utterly stupid to make it harder, here is some ideas:
-Going into the end immediately starts a raid
-All end portals are not filled and you require all eyes of ender
-Sleeping in beds explode
-Ender pearls spawn a random mob every time you throw it
-the item your holding turns into dirt if you hold it for too long
-All mods are hostile and constantly chase you
-Effects last 3x as long (unless they are good effects)
-When coming out of a portal,the portal immedietly gets destroyed
-Every so often you randomly take damage
-When it turns night mobs spawn right on you
-Grass spreads
-ender dragon sounds are much louder
-Creepers make a massive explosion
-Getting hit by any mob immedietly gives you 3-10 seconds of nausea
-Enderdragon heals 1 hp every 2 seconds, weather the crystals are destroyed or not
-NETHER AND OVERWORLD MOBS SPAWN IN THE END
-Skeletons shoot TNT that immedietly explodes
-dealing damage to the enderdragon has a 10% chance to spawn a zombie right at your face
-getting to 0 hunger levels gives you slowness 6 until you get over 1 hunger bar.
-all food items have a random chance to give you poision
-Blazes shoot incredibly fast
-All mobs have a super super low chance to deal 4x damage
-Cave sounds play everywhere, no matter where you are (just for extra pain)
-Staring at the sun gives you blindness for 30 seconds
-Sprinting damages you sometimes
-When you kill a mob, 4 more can sometimes appear (Does not effect enderdragon)
-Entering a nether portal will sometimes spawn a wither
-Ghasts will always shoot at you
-THE WORLD BORDER IS SHRINKING VERY SLOWLY
-Being at max hearts will give you nausea until you no longer are at max
-Enderman spawn 4x more often in the end
-All end crystals are barricaded in wood, meaning you will have to block up to destroy them
-You need the dragon egg to finish the game
-Touching xp will damage you for 1 heart
-You need to craft items twice
-Armor has a chance to have curse of binding on it
-Dieing once will give you perm weakness (the amplifier will depend on the amount of times you died)
-When destroying end crystals, a random mob will spawn on you
-slimes are massive
-Spiders and cave spiders will turn into an army of skeletons when they notice you
-Standing on grass blocks for too long will give you a random harmful potion effect
-Dropping items destroys the item you dropped
-The enderdragon moves much faster and stays for less time on the bedrock thing
-Smelting of any kind takes an hour
-At night time, you have blindness
-Every minute a chunk in a 1000 block radius will dissapear (will not be the chunk your standing on)
-enderpearls have a 1/6 chance to randomly spawn you somewhere in a 300 block radius
-Eyes of ender have a much higher chance to break
-Ghasts spawn much more often
-You cannot pause the game for more then 3 minutes or else you die in game
And finally, when you SOMEHOW beat the dragon, the portal will go up 100 blocks into the sky, and will be protected by angry enderman

Use a seed with an end portal that is fully generated already, just take the 2 hours of safe time waiting for the withers to despawn and slowly chipping away at the dragon's health, when your done, fun fact about the exit portal, it regenerates every once in a while, so wait in the frame for the one tick it regenerates, it might work.
