It’s a shame 37 inch TVs have gone out of fashion. The leap from 32 (as here) to 40 is too much. This tv seems excellent for the price and very good spec.
@@AUA-camChannelwithNoName No. 40" is correct. The sizes go from 32", straight to 40". Maybe you should check you know what you are talking about before you attempt to correct someone else...
You're so right. My 32" TV has now died and I'm looking for another. I'd like a slightly bigger size, but it's straight to 40"then 43". 4k is quite rare on 32" as well.
Not that good since the sound is an absolute crap. I'm truly disappointed. Ironically I was just testing it using a movie with Hans Zimmer misic when I came to watch this video to see if this TV has a bluetooth for sound amplifiers. Unfortunatly, it doesn't. I don't get the point to build thinner TVs knowing this only could be done on the expense of sound quality. TV and multimedia is not just about image. Modern industry is truly dying. Keep your old stuff, and repare when it's possible. Boycott rubbish !
My Dad bought a 9 inch screen Black and White PYE TV in 1953 so that we could all watch The Coronation of Queen Elizabeth live, on this new wonderful invention slowly coming into the UK households of the working classes. I can see my Mum now climbing cautiously over the furniture with this long aerial in her hand while Dad fiddled with the controls trying to get the best picture. I was 7 years old, wonderful times, gone forever, memories, thankfully still there. My lovely daughters have bought me a Samsung Smart TV for my 75th Birthday in a weeks time, and I think I'm going to enjoy it, oh yeah!!!
I use this TV as a monitor for laptop. It is brilliant for that and brilliant for sitting back and watching some UA-cam or Netflix in the off time. For UK buyers, yes..it is inexpensive but will produce a great max 1080p display. I would always recommend a UK buyer to get their TV from a retailer with a 5 year after manufacturer's warranty...just in case. Richer Sounds is a decent retailer to go for.
I honestly would say the 1080p display for a 32 inch TV is the major selling point. Other TV's this size generally only go up to 720p, which in 2023 is kinda lame. Maybe I'm just getting posh, but I hate the idea of buying a TV with a resolution of anything less than 1080p in 2023
Really enjoyed this review. Considering a Samsung to replace the Emerson tv in my bedroom which recently went out. Would you begin to review each brands electronic programming guide. I use a Roku and an indoor antenna so broadcast tv is really important to me. Would love to see how useful each brands electronic programming guide is. Thanks!
Its a weird system they have. One button, pressing it brings up a basic menu. You press to move to the next option, then hold to select it. No joystick on this model 😥
I have this TV in my bedroom as a secondary TV and it does the job nicely. Though it's not 4K, as for some reason you can't get 4K resolution at a size of 32 inches. It does however support 1080p, which I think you'll find is the bare minimum acceptable resolution in 2023. You have to sit close enough to notice the Full HD detail though. Also unless you're using this as a main TV in your living room, a sound bar will be overkill.
Thanks for showing the setup process! (6:54) I see that the setup process has the service regions intentionally locked to only allow UK/Ireland to be selected. I had briefly considered importing a 32" TV from the UK via a package forwarder, since all 32" TVs currently available to us to buy new here in Singapore run at that crappy 'HD Ready' resolution (1366×768, or WXGA), and I crave a higher resolution and more HDMI inputs. Another option for me might be to get a Samsung Smart Monitor M5 or M7 and attempt to use that as a TV, since I have pay TV from StarHub and so a built-in DVB-T2 tuner isn't as important to me.
Right now, I'm looking at the N5300 (similar to this one) which only seems to be available in the USA, where I live. A 32" is just the right size for my living room -- it would be replacing a Sony 27" flat screen tube TV that's coming up on 20 years old.
