  • Lake Michigan salmon fishing under the full moon. This type of fishing can be very enjoyable and productive. The wind usually clalms down after dark and if you can find where the salmon are feeding you can catch them at a fast rate by trolling glow in the dark spoons.
    This video also shows how we clean and prepare the fish plus I show how i grill them on a Weber charcoal grill.

    Very nice king! Especially in the dark.
    I also cut out the pin bone section, but I save them, vacuum sealed and frozen. When I have a large batch I'll smoke them.

    Looks great whenever I cook my salmon I always leave is skin side down I was worried it would stick to the grill if I put it flesh side down but that looks realllly good I'm going to have to give it a shot. Love your videos keep em coming.

    Try cooking the fish skin side up for five to ten minutes, then pull or cut off the skin. Cut the mud off the meat, re-season if you'd like, and grill the un-grilled side. That step offers 360 degrees of char and crunchy goodness. You can try cutting the skin and mud off before grilling the fillet, but the skin helps hold the fillet together through the initial sear of the non-skin side.
    Thanks for sharing your experience. Best of luck on the water.

    Great action. I use to fish at night a lot for kings back in the day. Caught one last fall while in my kayak at midnight. Chaos for sure

    I wasn't jealous the whole video 10/10. I caught my first salmon this year it was a Atlantic salmon went for the rainbow run and had a good mix of Atlantic's always great feeling leaving with a limit of fish! Hoping for a nice king this fall off shore as I don't have the gear to down rig YET.

    What tea lights do you use and where on the board do you put them

    • @NoFishNicksAdventures
      @NoFishNicksAdventures  9 днів тому +1

      Ebay - Christmas tea lights that way you get red and green ones. Use velcro on the bottom of the light and on top of the planer board. www.ebay.com/itm/151444672130?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=yNyaN-G8TXW&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=8e6Y2eGjRUS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
