    This is one of the clearest set of instructions on goal setting I have ever seen. Since I'm targeting self-development, I have even written a related Jim Rohn quote in my planner: "Don't let your learning lead to knowledge, let your learning lead to action." Great post.

    Hi Carsonial, great video! My number one goal this year is to read the Bible more, but this is an excellent reminder with useful suggestions on how to do more long-term goal setting.

    Great job... Your editing is getting real good. Using stock footage keeps the video flowing.
    I've been making videos for like 10 years, mountain bikes, watches and more recently notebooks. My videos have gone backwards in terms of the editing, I'm trying something new.
    Great video too.

    Great video! I have a question: you mentioned to pick up the four most important one year goals and work on those. But what about the longer goals? How do you work on them or at what pace, meaning how do you integrate them in your life?

    • @Carsonial
      @Carsonial  2 місяці тому

      Hey thanks! I review them monthly and yearly to see if I'm doing the things necessary to keep me on track for the longer goals. The way I see it is that if I'm staying consistent with my shorter term goals, they should lead me to where I want to be on the longer ones. Another idea is to 10x the longer goals so see how it changes my frame of mind to make quantum leaps to obtain larger chunks of them earlier. I've recently been thinking about this one as it applies to retirement. If I wanted to retire in 5 years vs 20 years, it would change what I do today. Hope this helps. At the end of the day I think regular reviews of the goals help to remind me of what's important, and ask myself what I'm doing (or not doing) to accomplish them.

    What do we do when we have too many goals and therefore do not focus on any?

    • @Carsonial
      @Carsonial  2 місяці тому +3

      just pick 4 and focus on those, otherwise you will feel overwhelmed and nothing changes.
