    I love this channel for the support it provides me as a beginner. The camera angle is terrific to view the sequence of a stitch in DETAIL. The critical FIRST step as a beginner is filtering through s-o-o-o- many channels, then selecting the 2 or 3 to support your learning journey. Thank you from Valencia, Spain.

    Such a clear picture! I love variegated yarns, but they are harder to make sure you're going in the right holes. This is nice though. And I do like the music.😊

    This pattern is so beautiful on both sides, I wouldn’t know which side to make the right side! Oh decisions!! I could see this a lovely gilet or top. Must away to get my stash of wools out to see which to use. Wish me luck! 🧑🏼‍🦳😃🧶

    I Love this pattern.For beginning crocheters if you look on the package of yarn that you want to use just check for the size needle they suggest and go ahead with what she's doing in the pattern.I believe she is using a DK weight 3and a size 4 needle.Hope that helps you.❤Ms Dee

    Hi. Brand new crocheter here. Do you have any videos that show how to finish it off? I’ve browsed a few of your videos, but it looks like you get a few rows done and then show the finished sample. I appreciate your help and I’m looking forward to following along with your videos. I just need to know how to finish. 😊 Thank you.

    • @massivecrochet
      @massivecrochet  Рік тому +1

      Hi! 🙋🏻‍♀️ Yeah, you're right, I usually complete the rows and show the finished pattern. I have shown how to finish it off in some video, but honestly, I can't remember which one anymore... 😅 However, I show it in the video I made about the perfect circle, even though it's a circular knitting, the closing procedure is the same: 👉 ua-cam.com/video/wENzhMHl8LM/v-deo.html. Hope this helps! 😊

    Can i use this stitch to make a thin summer shirt using a weight 0 or 1 yarn with larger crochet needle?

    • @massivecrochet
      @massivecrochet  5 місяців тому

      Yes, you can definitely do it. Using a larger needle will give your shirt a looser, more open texture, which could be perfect for a lightweight summer look. Make sure to do a swatch first to see if you like the drape before starting.

    I wish I could hold my yarn and hook the way you do! It looks so effortless. Unfortunately, I think I have held it the way I learned for too long. I tried to hold it your way but just can't. Do you have any videos for new crocheters showing how to hold the yarn? Maybe I could start over. 😀

      Unfortunately, I don't have any videos showing how to hold the yarn, I believe there isn't one way that's better than the other, everyone has their own. I think you don't need to change, it's all about finding what works best for you, so don't worry if you can't hold the yarn and hook the same way I do, even because it can be tough to change something you've been doing a certain way for a long time. The important thing is that you've found your own comfortable way to crochet. 😊 👍

    I couldn't tell if you are counting the ch1 on the flsc row as a stitch. Did you go into the 1st or 2nd stitch for your 1st sc?

    • @massivecrochet
      @massivecrochet  9 місяців тому

      No, ch1 doesn't count as a stitch and I you need to work the 1st sc in the 1st stitch.

      @ElderandOakFarm Місяць тому

      Yes! or at least more written details. I honestly always get frustrated & click off, shortly after beginnung, because I cant always tell exactly which hole/stich she's going in to. For example: @ 0:58 it looks like shes going into the 3rd hold from the hook, but tyen as soon as she pulls the yarn through, it looks like it could have been only the 2nd hole from the hook...?!?

      It depends on the yarn you're using, the hook size and your personal tension. Start with the foundation chain until you'll reach the size you want, respecting the multiples that this pattern requests. 😊

    I don't understand. While I do the SC row my project shortens... I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm loosing like 1/3 stitch each time.

    • @massivecrochet
      @massivecrochet  29 днів тому

      It sounds like you might be skipping stitches. Also, if your tension is too tight, it can make the work appear narrower or even cause you to unintentionally skip stitches.
