This was absolutely incredible. I never though I'd see the end of the game, since I SO suck at it, even though I've been playing it -- on and off -- since its release. Thank you for the upload. So, hey, Kae De, do you think you could upload a video of you doing an Ultra Jackpot? That's the other thing (obviously) that I always wanted to see, but only got close to one a single time! :D I'd really appreciate it! Also, if anyone has the sounds/sound effects ripped, please let me know! Thanks!
I have all three of the 'Pro Pinball' tables. This one, then there are the other two that I can't remember the titles of now, lol. Pro Pinball, came out long before Pinball Arcade. It's still the closest you can get to playing on a real life pinball table.
This procedure is called Ball Search, it fires solenoids in locations, where ball might get stuck, the procedure can be seen also in modern solid state pinball machines. You can see it @ 1:00:54 in this video.
Pro Pinball was the first series with an engine that felt like an actual Pinball machine. Although newer Pinballs like Zen have nice physics, they lack an evolved story mode and the complex dynamics of this table. Thats why the high score vids for these tables are mostly due to some stupid abuse (at least what I've seen so far) instead of the most points coming from playing the story mode. Nice Score, especially first ball (68x bonus is insane). But you can improve your death saves a lot, This could give you even better scores.Although there's a few little tricks that are helpful. The one I mostly use is tabbing one pin really fast 2 times at a similar timing like a drop stop - you can perfectly catch a lot of balls like that. Do you still play? I wonder if you improved your score. I started playing again a few days ago and was hoping for a new vid with a 12B score :). Sadly Fraps makes my pinball lag like nothing good, But it's really hard to get back to my old scores anyways.
How do you like Big Race USA and Fantastic Journey? I need to repair my old PC from back then to check, what my scores was after playing through Story Mode.
I love this game. My Dad played it, when I was very jung. I guess I was about 4 years old. Even then I loved the game. And now, 16 years later, I've rediscovered the game. It's the most awesome pinball game I think.
Oh this game brings back memories.. its been a good decade since i've last had the pleasure to play this yet it still feels like yesterday. Could not stop watching your gameplay until the last ball slip down :)
That was an awesome game session. I also found the Dinosaur stampede the hardest... I was to be honest thrilled to see the Wizard Frenzy again; I reached it only twice at least during the years I used to play it...
Great job. Never seen a full complete game before! I love TS, but always seem to suck at it (after a while I find myself getting sloppy with the shots). I honestly think the original plays better than the Ultra re-release version too.
Thank you :-) Yes, I stopped the automatic highscore check cause there was not much traffic anymore and I updated only once in a while. So it is best to email me if a new score was submitted.
I haven't played Timeshock in years. I used to be real good at it BUT I never was able to go to the Dawn of Time more or less The End of Time. I never knew there was a End of Time level. WHAT A GAME played here. I can't believe I watched the whole video. It was too hard to not watch it. Congratulations on a super game dude. I used to have a room full of people amazed that the way I played this game but never like this. Wow.
Damn man, you're just awesome at this. Never got above 2 billion, nor reached the Dawn or the End of Time, and I played this several years ago. I need to find my old Timeshock CD, and thanks for showing me the end of the game :D
Well played! Even with myriad pinball sims that were released since then, the Pro Pinball series remains the best, One odd thing I remember from when I had this decades ago: At the first chance to time travel, it allowed me to choose dawn of time, and Unknown from the beginning, and Rome/Prehistory were locked out. I always assumed that was a bug at the time. Anyway, thanks to your amazing game: I will purchase this from GOG. I've been itching to play this again anyway.
I'm just here for that awesome soundtrack. I don't even know where my original CD of this game is at. Might have given it away at some point, that was a mistake.
@MrLetsplayer007 : Windows 7 x64. The game (Windows version) works flawlessly. Be sure to install Timeshock!'s latest patch as it fixes a few minor gameplay oddities.
Hey. I have all Pro Pinball games but only Fantastic Journey works on my Win7 64 bit computer. No more Timeshock. There are patches out there but they don't work. I even bought a second and more recent edition of Timeshock with Win 7 compatibility on the DVD box but still no luck. :( Any ideas?
Dude, that's some amazing skills! Now I was able to see what I did not see yet cause my skills really suck :P I'm like "yeah I got a billion this time" and you are like "oh that was 5 minutes work"
well played.... all those explorations in 1st try - found that always to be the hardest part of the game I wonder why you used to bump the table when the ball comes from the crystal instead of using the flipper to "magnet" it (hold flipper up and release as soon as the ball touches it). I know it's quite hard but imho it's more predictable once you know how to do it.
Back when I used to play the game, it took me a while but I actually managed to complete the Ramp Rampage and Quickshot Mania in separate games. I honestly tend to make sure I have a Time Warp Frenzy lit before starting either one of those modes.
I am kind of surprised, as I thought the updates were automatic. When I noticed it didn't update after I submit, I thought it was simply broken :) Anyway, thanks for the update Anri. Also, nice score you got there (30 gigapoints). I don't think I will optimize this much further though, as my goal was to break my previous scores (around 6 gigapoints IIRC) as well as reaching the "end" of the game - which I barely achieved !
Well so something is wrong because I have the original timeshock cd, made a backup copy using ashampoo burning studio and have been playing it with no problem since always on windows 7 64 bits. I need to find the ISO of fantastic journey to download. I can't find mine, I guess I borrowed to a friend but can't remember who was :( Could u help me out? I can help you about timeshock.
The game ends only once you lose all of the pinballs, beating Timeshock! Frenzy is considered as the end of storyline and The End of Time is pretty much the ultimate multiball, where you have 1 minute to get as much points as you can.

Guys, today I installed Timeshock! again after many years, cracked open a beer and played it for most of the evening. Then when I finally had a solid run with the first ball, the machine got stuck in some sort of a loop where the right flipper activates by itself three times, some other mechanical bits click in order, the crystal keeps rotating and the ball lock arm goes back and forth, then the whole routine repeats itself. Anyone know what the heck this is and how I might continue my run?

Get the fragments from time machine frenzy and every piece of tachyonium from the exploration events. Then, go to the dawn of time, to enter Timeshock Frenzy.

Best pinball simulator I have owned or will ever own. Brings back fun memories.
What kind of bug / exploit happened at 9:28?? The ball should have gone to lock directly, instead you got the chance for an orbit shot.
I deactivated the lock using right flip (maintain) + left flip. I read about that in a FAQ probably.
