Ok ok I get it now . A while ago I asked how do you know all these songs. You replied by saying mostly you just read the sheet music and play along. I didn't think that was possible lol. Now I'm watching you (rather than the drums) and you're not bull shitting me!! I feel like I'm getting decent at reading sheet music now but there's no damn way my limbs are going to agree with what my eyes see haha. What's the little dot after the cross stick stand for? Excellent job as always man. Keep on keeping on! I love it!
Mate, learn sheet music, it's easy. There are thousands of songs with drum notation. Good example is Songsterr

@@lobbyrobby Tell me about it. I started 3 years ago. 8th's notes under 100 bpm is my comfort level at the moment.
Hey im a new member. I wanted to ask what is the best/most effective way to improve reading notations? Should i print the pdf and read and play as i listen to the song? Or should i play along to the video youve posted?
Hey - thanks for joining! So a few ways I can suggest to help your reading practice: 1. Use the UA-cam speed control to slow down the videos (click the cog, playback speed and then custom). 2. Having the PDF printed can be nice to see what's coming next easier. 3. I'm currently going through my library and adding beginner songs to a playlist if you want to find the easier songs. 4. I recommend getting Guitar Pro if you are able to invest in it. All of my downloads come with a GP file which you can then open up in Guitar Pro and isolate, loop and slow sections with the drum notation.

@@drumscribe gotcha. thanks for the reply Joe. I think for the most part I'm getting the majority of the parts notated except for some fills that are centered around the toms that are a bit of a hiccup. so those I try to look at closely.
