- The great thing about fiddle tunes is that you can make them as simple or as fancy as you want. In this video, I start with a simple version and then give you some ideas for dressing it up.
The sheet music for my variations is available for members of my Fiddle Club. If you'd like to be a member, visit www.patreon.com/fiddlequick. Members get a weekly fiddle tune video with sheet music.
This backing track is being played by Strum Machine, the practice app that makes it easy to have realistic rhythm tracks for any song, in any key, at any speed. Learn more and get an extended free trial at strummachine.com/fiddlequick
Stick around for the play-along and a backing track!

Thanks for watching!
Love this tune. I'm a beginning fiddler and really enjoying your slow paced tutorial. The options to dress it up after getting the basics down are awesome.
I’m glad you like it!
This was a fun find. I love playing this tune and appreciate your ideas on improvising. We do the rag time stop in the B part where the lead can go wild for a few beats. Do you not usually play AABB?
I found it played both AABB and not. I guess it depends on what you like. Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
That does explain why one place I've heard it doesn't repeat. Thanks!
Hello. Thank you for this " valuable stuff". I want to subscribe to your patreon but I can't find it at the Url you give. Is it closed?
Yes, unfortunately, I had to close it. I am making the sheet music for my fiddle tune versions available. You can write me at josieq@perpetual-motion.net
Has your patreon website changed? Where can I find the sheet music? Thank you for the Strum Machine app tip - just got the trial.
I discontinued the Patreon site. Please email me at jquick@ecentral.com for the sheet music.
