How about 10 games you thought were bad, but were really good? Got notified and clicked immediately 😂 Takeshi's Castle was also a weekly show in our country that was so funny... Memories
Atari 2600: Kool Aid Man I was kind of stupid early in my gaming life Colecovision: The Smurfs the cartoon would be on for hours on Saturday mornings but this game was awful NES: Spelunker There is no such thing as falling to a lower platform in the game you just die from the smallest change in height Genesis: Warrior of Rome 2: Winning a level takes forever, movement is painfully slow, and the way the units attack looks like they are humping the buildings
I admit to owning several games in the Shantae series. I also admit to owning Caladrius Blaze. The Shantae games are great and I highly recommend them, except for The Pirate's Curse. I DID beat that game, but the last level and the final boss make me say "please, I don't ever want to have to do that again." But Caladrius Blaze sucks and it is EXTREMELY overrated.
A fine public service announcement about the dangers of bad games. Can lead to alcoholism and violent uncontrollable rages targeted at your console. If you or anyone you know needs help, please refer to the top 10 games.🤣🤣🤣 You've helped alot of people here today. Good video as always sir. Cheers
i'm not embarrassed to have it, but my kids hate it when i play it & to make matters worse i only play it when there teenage friends are over. That is "Race with Ryan" on the PS4. i enjoy racing games & this one isn't that challenging, but since my kids hate when i play it...i play it a lot. Probably more than i should! Ha-Ha! Ever since i watched "Zombieland" i can not play Zombie games without wanting a dang Twinkie. i tried not playing for awhile & went back to it, but...i still want a damn Twinkie. i guess eating a Twinkie & playing zombie video games are a thing now.
CDi was designed more for educational software than games. they made a fair amount of decent games, but yeah, you have to be careful when just grabbing "games" at random for the system as there is so much educational ware
The one game I’m most embarrassed to own is Mighty No. 9, and it’s for 2 reasons, first of all it sucks, but the worst part is I was suckered into paying $250 for the kickstarter.
There are good games, bad games, and games that you have never heard of. I always enjoy hearing your comedic take on games that I have never even heard of before. Would you consider doing an episode on obscure game developers that happened to give us unexpected treasures that should be part of our collection?
Spice World made the list of course! 😂 Great video sir! Loved the video idea & the video delivered. Could probably up to 30 games I'm embarrassed to own so don't be shy about doing a part 2
Just think, Apple convinced schools everywhere to buy Apple 2’s so kids could play such highky educational games as Lemonade Stand and Oregon Trail. A few other things happened, yada yada, and now they are a multi trillion dollar company. Don’t underestimate the importance of getting in schools.
@@billcook4768 Oregon Trail, Odell Lake, Number Munchers and Math Munchers were the Apple 2 games that I remember from elementary school. I actually bought them (except Odell Lake which I can't find) for the PC and still own them.
@@billcook4768 Funny thing is, even with dominance in schools in the 80's and 90's, Apple bottomed out in the late 90's and early 2000's. If not for the iPod and the iPhone, the electronics industry would be so much different today.
10:00 - small world! i also like Hydlide, i played the SEGA Genesis game on SEGA Channel and i kept interested since. havent gotten around to beating it yet, but last time i played it, i got pretty far along, had a Check Book and really good gear. ngl, as a kid the weight limit infuriated me, but as a man i came to understand why it's there, so you dont skip to the bestest gear that you can buy as soon as you get the coins to do so. you have to get STRONGER to equip heavy armor, makes sense.
@@Fortefyre Without a doubt. Gotta figure, with the ring missions I think they are trying to make the city look big where you could fly through it, which the N64 hardware couldn't do, but it only let you fly through the narrow pathway of those rings, ya know? I figure it was a compromise, a failure of a compromise that made the game tedious instead of fun. The controls were perhaps the biggest obstacle, though. Though there is an unsung Superman game where they got it right. Maybe someone with a capture card for a PS2 is gonna be the first to bring it to light. Superman: Shadow of Apokalips (they spell it weird, it's a villain) did everything right that Superman 64 got wrong. They didn't quite make the Arkham level Superman game that some of us fantasize about, but the difference from Superman 64 should be immediately obvious and I found it fun to play through. I'd still play it if PS2 weren't in that dark spot where it's a retro game that needs too much hardware, and a modern game that won't play on PS4. EDIT: Hah! Sonuvagun. Searching just here on UA-cam I found like two full playthroughs of this Shadow of Apokalips. Alright, well if people are playing it I don't know why it isn't getting more praise.
I love bad games and bad movies, my suspension of disbelief is strong. My favorite bad game I still own is WET on the Xbox360. Not sure why I enjoy it but it is what it is 😅
I'll add it to the list, but fair warning, that might be tough because of copyright stuff. Film folks don't mess around with copyright striking channels. I'll try to make it work though.
END - dunno why you felt embarrassed to own that Strawberry Shortcake game, you're a dad with a little Gamer Girl, that's more her game than yours, so nobody should make fun of you for being a cool dad.
I think your the first guy who acknowledged Grey Matter existence. They might actually be the worst developers of all time. (Yes potentially worst them TierTex)
There was a Spy vs. Spy game on NES,I liked the Mad Magazine comic, but the game was terrible. You basically went through a building putting traps down for no reason and there was no goal. I was embarrassed I bought this waste of chips game.
Rise music composer is not the guy from queen! This guy's from Australia and died not too long after that. One has an eye for Brian and the other guy has a why. Sadly, the music is the best part of the game and it still sucks.
It was Brian May from Queen :) So the way it worked, they were going to have a full album but it fell through due to EMI taking their time. If you listen closely you'll hear the intro for "The Dark" from his solo album Back to the Light.
How bout 10 games you’re proud to own? An you can challenge yourself even more by doing 10 games you’re proud to own that people may otherwise think they’re bad?

I'm glad you enjoy it!

I was very pleasantly surprised by The Haunted Mansion on GameCube, for whatever it's worth.

Oof. Seems like all rough times!
I own Sesame Street 123 for the NES. Never played it, it was in a box of games I aquired.
It's actually not bad lol.

I've heard things about Caladrius Blaze, it's usually mixed. I'd be interested in at least checking it out.

Absolutely.
10 Games with Food that you want to Eat, example: Wall Porkchop from Castlevania.
added to the list!
Everything in Earthbound even though you can't actually see it.
Pans out for me lmao.
Yo Noid for the NES. It was one of my first video games, but apparently, a lot of people trashed on it, which I was surprised about.
I've yet to play Yo noid.
Only your grandmother would love Superman 64?
Strange grandmother!
:P
Milons's secret castle on the NES was by far one of the worst games I've ever played next to Godzilla. Lol!
Milon has its own...charm
I don't get why people hate on Milon's. Some of the bosses are hard, but it's a decent game.

I file Takeshi's Challenge under satire rather than kusoge but I wouldn't argue that it's not a shitty game
Yeah...Kusoge has it's own subculture right? Like in terms of how it's designed, it's purposefully represented as a shitty game.

Fester's Quest isn't that bad, just nab a turbo controller lol.
