This is the second part of a series where Im going to step you through each and every part of the reselling business. Liquidation pallets can be very scary for some and is an adventure for others. My hopes is that I can take some of the guess work out and help you understand a little more about this business before you decide to purchase your first liquidation pallet!

I agree that bin stores are great. There is a great bin store near me that charges $2 on tuesdays for everything. Adidas jackets to blank nyc and anything in between

We use Square because it's free and effective. We do have the Square terminal so it helps a bit but it can just be ran from an ipad. Alot of people dont realize that Square has inventory built into it

As far as buying the pallets, advertising, and shipping. How do you manage your time? Specially still having a job. What days are best to buy or does it vary?
That’s a great question! I’m gonna make a video specifically about this because it’s a lot to type. But basically I try to block my time to spend on this business and I also have a business partner and we coordinate our schedules to make sure we’re shipping, listing, etc.
Buying really depends on where you’re buying from. Many of the pallet shops don’t necessarily know what they are getting until they get it based on the programs they are in. But they normally do their best to give you a heads up about what shipments they are getting in

I have always sold on eBay off and on but just recently the hubs and I got serious about it to make some extra income. But now we’d like to be able to buy some name brand clothing in liquidated prices. Is there a place you’d recommend for us to look into? I don’t want a pallet bc I don’t have a house we live in and apartment so we need just a few lots.

Target HPC seem to be hit or miss but when they are good they are good. I’ve seen some really good items come out of those pallets!

I've been letting my ebay store die down as I'm working on buying a pallet. I found 1 an hour away and have been searching this past year before going out to do this.....nervous as heck because I don't want to lose money but I'm gonna try this.....wish me luck
Thanks for watching! If you’re in East Tennessee we use Bargain Spot LLC and they are amazing. Really great people and reputable. It’s in Lenoir City so a little over an hour for me. Luckily I’ve never lost money on one of their pallets but also I try to price a few items in the pallet before I buy to make sure I can make my money back (which is subjective because some items may not work or be missing parts). I wish you all the luck and let me know if you have any questions I’ll help any way I can!

My biggest issue with pallets is they are all so far from me shipping them cuts hugely into the profits. Local is basically nonexistent for me.
I have found shipping 2 or 3 costs about the same as 1 though.
I just don't buy them like I use to.
We had actually been having the same issue until we found a new local source. It didn’t make financial sense to ship one pallet anymore but we will see where 2023 takes us, Thanks so much for watching!!

Im not sure in Houston im in Tennessee. There are some places online where you can purchase such as liquidation.com, viatrading, Bulq, and directliquidation but be warned that shipping cost can be expensive!

Down in Atlanta we use War on Retail, at the TN Ga line there’s also North Ga Wholesale Liquidation, and in Lenoir City, TN Bargain Spot LLC is my fav!

If you use your resell certificate to buy a item and end up using it for personal use is that legal?
Great question. The answer is yes, however, there is a spot on your tax form to tell the value of an item you kept for personal use to make it legal.

Very welcome! So that would be the amount you paid for the item. You bought an item for $3 then that’s what would be excluded in your cost of goods sold

Not necessarily. Anyone can buy a pallet although some comps do require a Reselling Certificate
