@@RogerYeahmon was Holmes and Spinks not big fights, Spinks fight was the biggest gate ever at the time? the Ruddock rematch was huge. Won all them. Anything after that he was past it anyway, you put any meaning on the Lewis fight?
@@ritchski1 Holmes was way past his best, Spinks was a LHW that froze - arguably one of Tyson's weakest opponents.. Tyson was the younger man vs Lewis, still got rag-dolled.. Mike's biggest scalp was arguably future-WBC champ Frank Bruno.
@@RogerYeahmon you said he lost all his big fights, were they not big fights? Anyway, Spinks beat heavyweight great Larry Holmes twice, pretty good for a LHW. Tyson may have been the younger man against Lewis but age doesn't mean much when you are a completely different fighter who's style is much more effective when younger, he was over ten years away from his prime. You want to call Holmes out of prime when he fought Tyson, but seem to be claiming Tyson was in his prime against Lewis? Cant have it both ways. Ruddock was a bigger scalp than Bruno, no one wanted that guy. His biggest win is Spinks, not that he won, but that he did it in 90 seconds, a man that took Homes the full distance twice. Added to that, Spinks didn't freeze, when you watch the fight he was trying to hit Tyson back but he was completely overwhelmed.
@@ritchski1 usual apologist nonsense.. imagine a LHW like Bivol in today's HW division - would never happen. Why? Because today's HW division is not so weak that LHW's can move up and compete. Making apologist excuses for why Tyson lost to an even older fighter nearing 40 in Lewis 🙄🥱

this might the most stupid headline I’ve ever seen.

@@DBCHeavyweightBoxing nope
A ludicrous statement ! No-one, not even Johnny believes that !
0:10 Frank Warren really OG in this scene huh
He's been around a decade before that
It would be a mockery if he shared the ring with Tyson. Completely different level.
Mike Tyson LOST all his big fights.

The man who thought he could beat Usyk in his prime ROFL
Other way round
why cut the video so much, what did Tyson say
Ye why did we never see danny willams vs jonny nelson
Because johny nelson never went up to heavyweight
God damn Frank warren looked crazyyy back then
Johnny love the honesty
😂😂😂 Nelson is a pundit and was a local level fighter at best
WBO champion. 13 title defenses

johnny does hit back, you know.. Nelson would walk Tyson straight onto a nasty uppercut.
In the 90’s Tyson would’ve KO’d Nelson. Johnny Nelson is a 2 division champion

@@michaeljohnson5365 Wilder then Bruno
