Excellent questions. The cover doesn't leak but the bucket actually deforms whem the vacuum is blocked. This is something I should have thought about so a metal bucket would be much better for that
Sorry for the late reply. There wasn't any performance downgrade, but I wouldn't recommend the plastic bin anymore. It tends to collapse when the vacuum head is blocked. I'd use a metal bin instead, and I plan to rebuild it for this reason. Also, the plastic is a little too light which throws the bucket off balance. Make sure to secure it well. Thanks for watching!
Maybe too late to respond, but you're not wrong - this is a relatively simple design and not 100% dust proof. From my experience it collects 90% and even more. I'm using a household vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter as the suction source, so dust is not an issue
Good job. I like how you even filmed inside the cyclone!!
Thank you so much! Glad you liked it:)
Thanks for the video. I made one & it works well ..Petel
Great to hear! really happy it works for you, mine can use a few improvements.
Hello , that jigsaw jig is the most simple but effective jig for cutting circles.Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely, it's small and easy to set up . I used it a lot with very good results even on thick pieces. Thanks!
Keep it simple and it works,, making mine tomorrow. Thank you for your great instruction. Kind regards keith
Thank you so much! Good luck :)
Good job
doesn't the cover leak vacuum or pop out ? Does the bucket get deformed from suction ?

Very genial. Excellent job and super like by Warmachine bodybuilding of garage Gym italy 🇮🇹😉✌️
Thank you very much!
Nice Job! Going to try it on a larger 750 CFM dust collector. Did you notice any suction performance downgrade?

I am new to dust collection. Shouldn’t there be a separator to separate the fine dust from the large chips?
