  • Hey Gang! We get a lot of questions regarding the laser systems and setups we use to get precise and accurate results at our jobs. We thought it'd be a good idea to make a dedicated video going into detail on what we use and why! If you have any questions or comments feel free to drop them below. Thanks for watching and we'll see ya on the next one!

Paul and Jordan -- you guys are a fantastic duo. Paul -- you are a fine craftsman and I can see you take pride in your work. You are so lucky to work with your son, who has a great head on his shoulders and a terrific disposition, just like you. You two are naturals in front of the camera and I wish you both longevity and continued success.

Paul, Jordan, I actually cut the galvanized plate and filed in the corresponding notch. As I was installing it onto the pole, I took a closer look at the bracket that came with the Huepar. I simply attached my laser to the Huepar using the 1/4" screw. Than I connected the Huepar to the original Bosch bracket via the magnets. Therefore, I did not need the new plate that I cut. It works perfectly.
Thank you both for an absolutely outstanding series. One of the very best on UA-cam!

I purchased a Huepar laser and telescoping pole last year to level some floors that we replaced. That thing is a lifesaver. I now use it to set up new framing, leveling floors, tile, and leveling ceilings. I love it. I am not a professional like you guys but I am remodeling an old house with my son so I wanted one when we did our first floor tear-out. I love my laser and it is green cross point and also puts a red dot on the ceiling. It has a built-in bubble level and the tripod and pole also have built-in bubble levels. I paid 60 bucks for the laser and another 40 bucks for the tripod and pole. Best investment ever. I use it all the time now.

I just bought a Milwaukee rechargeable laser level to use on a framing job. It cost $350. First day on the job I unpacked it and set it up- I was very excited- and the dang thing would NOT level! No matter how tried to set it up it was way off. The worst part was the customers were standing around watching me! I felt like it was off to a bad start. Luckily the guy had a Bosch laser level and tripod. Lol! Job turned out great in the end! Thanks for all the great videos!

I was just coming to look at what Bosch laser level you guys use to see if it was on Prime Day.
The GLL 100GX is $160 today. I think the extra "X" stands for Axis, which is an extra feature. You guys are always so on-point and I love your videos!
Can't wait to see how the new house turns out!

I actually have a hubar laser and it came with the fine adjustment bracket. Laser probably isn't as high of quality as some others but so far it's worked well for everything I've done with it. Cost of the whole kit was less than 200 bucks. I use my wife's tripod for her camera with it.

That's awesome. I use the bosch green lazer one step down from yours it was 150. But I'm going to replace it with the new m12 green lazer that uses Milwaukees m12 batteries. It also has a built in fine tune knob. It's 400 though but the rechargable battery is worth it to me.

Ive always just stacked tiles on my cart and then used shims to get it perfectly to my mount. Then snap a line and get the bottom row or rows flush with that first line. Mostly because I don’t always have the the luxury of leveling the floors. So marble shims and 8th and 16th shims until I can hit that line. Then I know we are level for the rest of the wall. Then when I get to the ceiling I usually have to cut angle pieces cause the ceiling is rarely perfect either. You know the struggle

Their lasers are also great and under $50!! Self level, strong green laser can see in the day, and can lock and do degree angles. FYI, it is self leveling, so you can simply twist the laser itself vs the Bosch mount, or if the screw adjust on the Heupar is maxed out, you can simply twist the laser itself. FYI#2 you can get the monopoles from Manfrotto as well, and get a superclamp that will take a camera mount thread. All this photo gear helping out the contractors...nice..Oh, and on that point, FYI#3 You can get the 400-600 LED video lights that will BLAST a worksight with lots of power like day light under $120, often 60-100

Love your content. Thanks for all the tips. Very refreshing to watch without all the usual music. Most of your videos are a struggle to make it through only because I find the music too distracting & undesirable. This is the only channel I've watched that doesn't have comments suggesting to tone it down. Maybe I'm the only one. Just MHO. Thanks for considering.

Kinda funny, I've actually been mulling over the idea of buying one of those huepar fine tuning mounts for my stabila crosshair laser level ever since Christmas but haven't gotten around to it until now. Just finished building a 14.8 meter (48.5 feet) wide grand stair with tiered bench seating, and believe you me, I got pretty good at nudging the back end of the laser 1/100th of a slight breeze just to watch the vertical line move over 1/2" at a time on the other side!

I wonder if one day they'll have a lazer that will give you your hole tile lay out .maybe you put your tile size in and you have all your tiles in lazer on the walls of the room so you can ajust it so it's perfect and gives you your start tile . Thinking of that it makes all lazers now seem prehistoric.

That mount is what I've been needing for years, but never took the time to look for. Many years ago I picked up a nice 5-beam crossline for big steam piping job. It is was a huge time saver, but it didn't remove the need for a second guy during layout as I thought it would. Fine adjustment was just too difficult with the point of aim more than 10 feet away. I use the laser all the time, even around the house, and this really kicks the convenience of using it by up several notches. I also happen to be tiling my guest bath, so yeah. Another tool to order! Thanks!

Thanks for the video. For my job I use it for placing conference tables in the rooms by lasering in the base before the large tops go on and that way when I put the top on it’s exactly where it needs to be
I have a 360 Heuper laser level kit that came with a magnetized mount but nothing I could attach to a tripod
Having to move the tripod to adjust is a pain the fine tune adjustments would be great if I could do them on a tripod
