Thanks!! Could not figure out how to get the laser box threaded onto the bolt on the tripod. It is nice that top mounting bolt thread square piece comes off.
So I've used one of these for photography One of the things I can tell you to do is get some lubricant and apply a little bit to the inside of those joints It makes it a lot smoother
should explain that the bounce on fine adjustment of laser (ROTATION TO A CERTAIN LINE ON A WALL FOR INSTANCE) is an absolute nightmare... wherever you "set"it there is bounce, and you have to end up rotating the entire tripod.. !!
you mean with this particular tripod the bounce is bad? Is that mainly for interior of home type of use, or with outdoors as well? I'm going to be doing some property driveway grading and house perimeter leveling and we don't want the tripod bouncing around for sure!
Thanks for uploading. Question, can this stand, or any stand, mount a laser and hold at an angle? Looking for something to assist with angled cut lines and slanted patterns when installing vinyl wall decals and partial wraps and just recently discovered the wonders of laser level.. I'm late to party I guess.
Thanks ! I’m not sure, what size threaded holes are on the bottom of your light? I have found pretty much all tools that are designed to be on a tripod have the same 1/4” threaded hole. That’s what the tripod fits into.
This looks like the EXACT same tripod Milwaukee slings out for its lasers but with a slapped-on Bosch logo. Really cheap and flimsy construction made up of mostly ill-designed, failure prone plastic knobs and joints held up by the thinnest gauge steel known to mankind. It can’t handle the weight of a 360 laser. It topples over. Don't know why you would put a 500-dollar laser on a 5 dollar tripod. Feels like thats the whole point of investing in expensive, quality tools and equipment if you work in construction. You pay that extra premium for durability, performance, longevity, etc... A serious photographer spends way more on a camera than your average tradesman does with a laser. Most of them invest in quality tripods that not only potentiates the cameras abilities, but also offers security in investment and added durability during extensive travel. That same mindset should be shared by tradesmen and manufacturers concerning construction lasers and constructions tripods. Just my two cents! I definitely returned my Milwaukee laser tripod the day of unboxing, yikes.
good to know about the Milwaukee, but I'm very happy with my Bosch tripods. Great for the money, I have two. Owned 'em for 5-6 years and they still work great despite their fate as tripods on dirty work sites. Also use 'em with my cameras. I might not be a serious photog but they're getting some "serious" YouTubing action lol
Your ‘tutorial’ saved me lots of time. Appreciated and subscribed.
Great to hear, thanks for watching!
Thanks I spent hours trying to figure mine out. Awesome.
Walmart, 12$ camera stand all you need for most people using a
Laser level. Standard1/4” thread all cameras or mountable lasers use
Thanks!!! Brought one today!!! I love it for beams and framing Yessss sirrr

Same reason! I almost returned mine, thank you for the clear explanations!!
Thank you for the review my friend
I might get this one 👍
Just got one for photography. Like it fine, but the traverse head does not pan smoothly even when totally loosened.
yeah its not the smoothest tripod, but good enough if you are setting it up and not needing to move around to much

Is it useful for leica disto X4 laser device
I think you forgot to put the actual Bosch laser on there buddy
Can this use yun teng phone stand on it?
It will take any 1/4” thread, typical for cameras and mounts.
When using the Bosch laser with this tripod it feels shaky. Do you use the rubber thing under the laser when using both?
it is a bit shaky for sure, I sometimes use the laser mount so i can fine tune the height.
Longtime viewer here with your tool reviews.. I just purchased a 10k Bosch flood light. Will this tripod work for it?

Was that a light you clipped in on top..where do you get that?
