How do you get your two audio samples in the same key? You have one in C and one in G. Harmonically they don’t really work together. Important point for using these files.
Good observation! C and G form an harmonic fifth. Hence they do play nice together. If I play a C# sample with a C one (one semitone), that does sounds awful. Briefly, some intervals sound nice some do not. You don’t strictly need the same key, if in doubt yes you can pick up the same key and that’ll work, else you can let your ears decide.
@@antoniomediaproduction thanks! Open fifths are used in lots of harmony from country music to guitar power chords. If there’s not too much scale information from each key it can work. What’s the trick for transposing the splice samples in logic?
@@GMan269 there's a transpose option per each audio sample imported into logic, in the inspector, in the left side pane. Extremely handy. See support.apple.com/en-us/HT207960
@@antoniomediaproduction thanks so much for the insight. I put logic away at about 10.4 in high sierra. And this is somewhat like starting over. But this sampling stuff is a big leap from the esx24!

Great demonstration man!
Why don't i have the option to apply apply my project tempo?
Me neither - be great to know how to do this.
@@StuOsca Hold option key and bring the cursor to the bottom right corner of the sample it will allow you to manually scale the sample to the bars
