    I like that you don't spend too too long on the cable management in these reviews. It's nice to get the truth of it.

      I did say with this case I cant make it super tidy because of changing the motherboard all the time. You clearly could make it tidier though

    i like the horizontal style. i wish cooler master or someone would make an updated HAF XB Evo case or something like it

    I just bought the Light Base 600 version of this.
    I think there are only some minor changes between the two (beyond the size and reduction to 120mm fans)

    Did a case mod on a tank style case and gave it 3d printed legs for that coffee table pc case look. Been rocking it for around 8 months now. That case makes me.wanna go bigger

    Tiny Tom..! I've been looking for a Full Tower but not many companies make'em like the standard ATX or Mid Tower flavor. the case in this video looks super clean.

    I am VERY tempted to use this chassis atop an actual coffee table so I can go with a really small desk. I've got a giant monitor on a TV stand that is on the floor, so I don't need the desk for my actual computer or displays, just a keyboard and mouse, so a chassis like this could make for some really cool sorta-minimal setups.

    Tells us to watch to the end so's not to forget the treat at the end, then forgets it himself.🤣 Our Thomas, bless! 😃 I do like this case, I don't particularly like the cable management (Thank Cthulu for 1300W SF!) and I agree the PSU placement is daft.
    Vorspurung DUH! technik you might say.
    These chappies are German and it hasn't occurred to them to consult with Roman? Daft buggers.
    I liked this when it cropped up at shows and it doesn't disappoint; nor get so close as to annoy me into chucking my dummy. I'm going to check the measurements out because my Hi-Fi needs upgrading and horizontal this would make a fine addition to a stack. Good one Thomas milad, have a KitKat. 😉

    i can‘t decide between the new O11 compact and this one. be quiet seems a bit more future proof and I like the 420mm support.

    Payed 170 Euro's for the DX version. its on the way from BeQuiet Germany, just got my UPS tracking number, will be my first BQ product :P
    Right now i am using the Antec c8 thats nearly the same. i WILL be using it in "table" mode since that why i bought it :P
    the 900 is 16Kg :P

    yeah the PSU placement is confuzzling. I'd also like some better QOL features like easier filter removal. 140mm radiator support for side mount, mesh options to buy separately for front and side (or front and top) glass panels. etc. Love it though as it's totally the successor to the CoolerMaster HAF EVO XB.

    • @joeschmoe2697
      @joeschmoe2697 5 днів тому +1

      Those side intake fans are on a swivel if I remember correctly, so I think a mesh from option will probably eventually be an option and you can just swivel the fans over

    Nice dual chamber with room for 420mm and not being a full tower size.. Shame about all the leds tho.

    How is the air flow? I presume most of the aquarium PC case really bad and just a gimmick advertising

    I used to like bequiet because they prioritized functionality over rgb nonsense and glass everywhere. Sad to see their priorities seem to be changing.

    • @bigpoint58

      it supports 2x420mm which is rare. I plan to use a Arctic LF III 420mm to replace my custom water loop

    I really LOVE this case but sadly enough with my beautiful V3000 plus case from Lian Li,
    I invested ALOT in my watercooling gear. You cant buy everything :(
    And ps Tom, This is not a big case :P

    Could be great, just needs back mobo connector support.

    • @kYnTso
      @kYnTso 13 днів тому +1

      On the official beQuiet ad it claims that it is backside connector compatible. Judging by the holes on the motherboard tray it seems to have holes where the backside connectors all seem to be.

    • @PeTe_FIN
      @PeTe_FIN 7 днів тому

      @@kYnTso Ah, too bad i just changed my case to a proart 602, mainly just for fun, no real need to do it. That case on its side seems like the best solution, if its backside connector compatible, you could order some VERY short cables and avoid that cable mess behind the motherboard.

  • @briankleinschmidt3664
    @briankleinschmidt3664 13 днів тому

    They probably put the PSU in the middle to make it easier to run the wires. The problem you described - access to the board and another - doesn't that make it top heavy? If this is the best BeQuiet can do, I'm not interested.

    • @kYnTso
      @kYnTso 13 днів тому +2

      The case can be used on 3 sides so thats why it probably is where it is.
