@@TheJontydavid Actually the Great Whites have disappeared from our shores to such an extent that the shark cage diving boats have had to become seal diving boats now. All thanks to the Aussies love of fish and chips which is made from small sharks caught in our waters. The small sharks are the great whites prey, no prey, no sharks. Very sad. Surfers love it but its terrible for the ecosystem and its putting people out of business.
@@krishorst4734 yeah but last few months made worse by the orcas in the area chasing sharks away.. I agree not saying sharks bad.. Just meant if I'm in the water I have to make peace with it.
I’m South African. Did you ever surf the Wedge in tea water with sharks? You had to drive into the port, take a right. Pretend you’re going to Milnerton. Park and then climb oversize, concrete Jax, which were the breakwater. Always got a ding in my board, just to get in into the water. Dunno, was it a Saturday or Sunday? We spotted a fin in the water. A real sharp fin, not a porpoise or dolphin curve. A real fin. Fuck me if all 5 of us just kept surfing. We thought we were all going to live forever.
Awesome man enjoy the trip, in CT for the best performance longboards check out www.starboard.co.za on the showcase tab on www.zigzag.co.za. lekker man

Lol...ok 🤘🥱
best time of the year to surf in cape town ?
Winter swells are usually the best
Z
Winter for the bigger stuff, but summer generally has a lot to offer at the open ocean beaches ( and favorable winds )
Definitely winter, so may June and July
Icy water and inconsistent at best
should add "lame" on the beginning of ur name.
Sadly only one ocean you would need to go to cape agulus to get indo the India ocean. But hey they are made up anyway
Just bring your own drinking water with.............
The tap water is perfectly drinkable.
lol CT has some of the best drinking water around, what u on about??
