Great to see that even Jonathan himself is mesmerized at the end. Proves he is still a human being...
Oh, to hear that in-person! Thank you Jonathan and Tom. You bring so much joy!
Evreux + Widor + Jonathan = perfection!! Thanks for sharing this grand rendition. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💐💐🎹🎶
What a workout, and performed so (seemingly) effortlessly. I'm speechless, really, after listening and watching this performance, Jonathan.Thank you, and thanks to Tom for your amazing talents. I feel so very fortunate to have discovered your channel and your music. With every good wish for you both!
One of Jonathan's rare performances of a piece written for organ, and superbly played, as usual, with video editing by Tom which, again, is so perfectly done, you don't notice what is happening: art concealing art.
Many thanks.
Wanderfull!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!
Guess who is one of the best organists in the world? You are, you are!
OMG! J.S. is truly, truly one of the most talented, gifted & brilliant organists living today. He & Tom are incredible talents & their videos are some of the best organ & organ/piano duo performances ever! How lucky for folks who get to hear them in live performances. Their artistry never ceases to amaze me as a mostly retired professional musician. Always inspiring, exciting & enjoyable. Jonathan is sheer genius, not just his playing, but his arrangements & programming. Bravo maestros Jonathan & Tom Scott!
Utterly brilliant. A truly outstanding performance of an incredible piece of music. No more needs to be said. Thank you again, Jonathan
Mind blowing! I've been WAITING for you to record this showpiece. Incredible. It boggles my mind how you all this music (organ literature and all your transcriptions) in your fingers. In a lifetime, a couldn't learn a fraction of it. Congrats sir.
Good to hear more from this fine Instrument with this impressive Widor performance !
This was a very profound piece of music. I ws going to ask of Jonathan what, in his opinion, was the best organ he has played. But then I realize that every instrument is different. Every venue is different. It is really a ridiculous question. What does interest me is where the money comes from to restore these instrument.
At least half comes from government in cathedrals as they all are state owned in France, and at least half public city funds when in smaller parishes as they are town owned.
Thank you Jonathan and Tom for this amazing performance and wonderful video of the Evreux Cathedral! Widor is a gifted and amazing composer! Will Ortiz
What a sight to behold! What a magnificent sound! Such skill! Thank you so much.
Bravo!❤ Thank you!
My man, you got the whole manual shaking!
OK, perfect. Bach would approve everything and be happy. Execution, composition and organ. Sehr gut.😊
Absolutely magnificent. 👋👋👋👋👋👋 Thank you for sharing. 😊😊
Not much I can add here to what others are saying so I will just say thank you for this majestic listening experience.
One of the few Romantic period works I truly LOVE. I must confess Widor is a genius---forgive me J.S. but its true. And of course the performance is flawless. BRAVO!
What a performance! I’ve always preferred Widor 6 over Widor 5 and this is fantastic!!
A gentle, sedate piece to accompany me puttering around the house on a quiet Saturday morning. 😂😂😂
Stunning performance 👑🍾🫡
Incredibly beautiful and majestic! Thank you both for this beautiful video! ❤❤
lovely
SIMPLY AMAZING! ❤
That instrument AND performance was MONUMENTAL!!
Great music and fantastic organist ! ❤

With Love from the Netherlands.
Bravo! 👌👏👏👏👏👏
MASTERPIECE!!!
Wow, that was an amazing rendition of that glorious Widor piece Jonathan!! You put your heart & soul into that performance. I always enjoy this Allegro by Widor & it sounds truly incredible on this French organ. Thank you for uploading this gem & good luck with your Polish performances. xx
One of my favourite pieces - the finale is brilliant - far better than the finale of the 5th, the whole of the 6th is stunningly good - bravo - I love playing it and listening to great recordings like this 👍🏻🥃🍻
Just when world events convince me I have become an atheist, I experience something sublime as this. So complicated and beautiful there must have been something beyond human involvement.
So beautiful. Love you both
Thank you Jonathan for a new recording of one of my favorites. This organ sounds world different than the one at Leeds.
took Jill to the one in Leeds, it was her first organ recital
Jonathan, you are awesome. This has been one of my favorite organ works for many years. Great job!.
Grand!
Wonderful 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤. Thank you very much.

The unique master of organ

MAGNIFICENT 👏👏👏👏😍😍😍😍

🎶 👏😲 👏🙂 👏😀 🎶
Amazing! Thank you for what you do for the organ heritage. As an organist, you make us want to improve!
Widor :)
Supeeerrrr chirisimooo ❤
Merci beaucoup ! !!
😊😃❤❤
My favorite piece on organ ever !
Next time try to play it on the Rouen St Ouen collegial abbey church, that Cavallié-Coll (if it is maintained that is) was the very instrument for which that piece was composed by Widor. It has the perfect reeds for that piece.
Спасибо !!!❤
I have to admit I've never heard of this composer before. It sure has a gothic sound to it, & Jonathan, it sure gave you a work-out!
Find more of it he was amazing!
A lot of time ago I loved this piece. Today, the more I listen to it the more I believe it gets more performances than it deserves.
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Nice
Boring registration but a amazing technique.
Why only 56 notes on the manuals???
Too many erratic and illogical tempo fluctuations to be considered a top 10 performance, IMAO.
Fantastic play 👍👍👍
Quadruple ogres, what are they called? Or just bodies?
