Former NBA player Rick Fox founded Echo Fox in December of 2015 and signed Torqued consisting of sgares, freakazoid, roca, shahzam, and ryx. They finished bottom 3 in both of the ELEAGUE seasons and played in zero other T1 events. Shortly after the end of S2 Echo Fox disbanded leaving Counter Strike after barely a year had passed.
Well, it's a age issue. As people gets older especially video game pros, they tend to perfom worse. You can see that most well performing players in cs go are in their early 20's. It doesn't matter how good someone is, you get worse and worse over time. When i think about young Olofmeister or Snax back when cs go was released it's no surprise to me. Something similar we will see with Simple and others that are reaching that age line too. But in some cases, like in 2018 when Gambit won the championship, Zeus wasn't really that great but was the right man for supporting the team, same thing he did with Navi in 2019.
People tend to always make the loudest guy the leader, but fail to understand what good leadership means. Stewie is a good player in terms of CSGO skills, but his character and personalities make him neither a good teammate nor a good captain. The recognition and winnings that he earned pretty much became his own poison. I don't see him being successful in any team unless he could set aside his ego and be willing to get igled and coached.

I kinda don't like how 9z got treated as a bad team during the mayor, the casters constantly talked them down, it's been a while since argentina got a team to the major and the performance wasn't that good but just getting there shows our region is improving. Also the players weren't used to being seen in the big screen. Watched the major with no commentary after the casters commentary was almost biased

Stewie isnt an aimgod, nor is he a genius. hes a character guy that motivates others around him IF and only IF he buys into the system they come up with. clearly that did not happen with the inter teach/coach conflict. the org should have taken a step back there and rectified this early issue however necessary rather than attempt to save face. new coach? Stewie adjusting/leaving? iunno. ultimately u need 5 people on the same page buying into a system and trying to get better. maybe you lose a bunch early on but you make the games hard for the opponents and learn from your losses. this is how u "build" a team vs buy a team.
in hindsight, EG management not sacking Stanislaw faster is what killed the original EG roster that had so much potential. It literally cost the team Ethan, and that was the start of the downfall.... The literally carried a dead team under Stanislaw for a year. They could have went after Karrigan, there was so much they could have done to try and improve the team.
cerq just miss turok and stan , u can see he is scared not to die even if his teammate is dying , because he dont trust them enough and because he expect to die from any position his aim is a mess

If stew wanted to comeback he should and maybe get another coach instead and give the IGL to another player since stews original role is to be an entry fragger. Him and Fallen back in MIBR were great and back in c9 stew was also great. Stew just needs to get back his entry frag role and play around ppl who are willing to improve. EG overall is a mess. In my opinion EG just needed a new awper, coach, and another igl to give stew his original role back since he haven't IGL'd for ages and since the meta changes once in a while he prob still hasint caught up to that meta yet so chemistry is also another problem 😅
