- The first month of 2020 has come to a close! 6 World Records were set in January 2020 including Toad's Factory, Grumble Volcano, Coconut Mall, DK Summit, and DS Desert Hills. 2019 was the most active year for World Record activity in Mario Kart Wii (149 World Records) since 2012. I may do these in the future, would definitely reach out to the TAS community for all their input/comments with their improvements & explanations of how things work in their improvements!
Well I don’t think a lot of TASers would appreciate that kind of video as any video that compiles TASes seems like free credit for using other people’s videos.

Thanks man for consistently uploading some nice content on Mario kart Wii. Its so nice to have some people still passionately play that game for nearly 12 years now. I myself have been playing it for 11 years. So I can relate to the world record progression that is really important for being up to date. Kudos to you for still continuing to carry on that legacy........

Retro tracks are rarely taked about as some aren’t that technical. There are exceptions like Waluigi stadium, but most of them are about good driving on flat tracks.

These vids are awesome. For a lot of games I like to know where the WRs are but I have to do a bunch of digging to find if there have been any optimizations/whatnot. All I have to do for Mario kart wii is watch one video, solid 👌👌

A leaner package of WRs to start the year off, but January is a slow month in the content creation universe. Can't wait to see the competition heat up in the coming months! 2020 is gonna be a great year for MKWii speedruns!

3:37 mid 1:44 isn't possible believe, because of how slow yo u need be, everything after the crate clip lap 3 is the only place you can improve the run
We will see a high 1:44 with the current setup (doing it on lap 1 and lap 3) but a faster method is doing it on laps 2 and 3, using the extra mushroom to do the lake cut (a little faster than doing it shroomless) which will make a mid 1:44 realistic. We'll see what develops!
