This is one of my favorite compositions of all time, so I wanted to see what it would sound like with higher quality instruments. I'm not planning to cover any additional tracks from the Golden Sun series.

20 years... Please, Nintendo, bring us a Golden Sun 1 and 2 remakes for Switch.

I remember my first adventure with Isaac and the crew..
That childhood of mine changed in so many perspectives thinking Psynergy was a thing, so I trained and worked hard to achieve it.. all I got was pain and agony knowing it wasn't an achievable goal to make reality! 😭😭😭
This was the only game series that if more attention was put into it, it could rival Final Fantasy, that's how awesome it is!

I feel like GS 1&2 Already surpassed FF, i may be biased but Goldun Sun left an everlasting memory in myself, that wich FF did not do except for 7
@@turbo6328 For me it was FF4 and FF6 that reign supreme, followed shortly by Chrono Trigger, but I am no less biased. GS is a solid series, and if I'd played it first, it could possibly have ended up becoming my favourite instead.

It's genuinely one of the greatest RPG series on the GBA, if not the early 2000s as a whole
Man is spiritual but this materialistic world blindfolds you from early on, keeping you like an animal who cannot tap into his true potential as a son of God if he wills you to be.
this is the only game that has woken emotions from me, im always missing it, longing for it, i feel like i've lost something important, and i can't get it back

I will never forget the moment I first picked up Golden Sun I (and the series as a whole). And I will never stop hoping for a successor or a remake. Golden Sun will always stay in my Memory!
Fractured Thrones from Brunswick's POV introduced me to so many good soundtracks, damn.
I can't get over how perfect this is, it makes me tear up dude. You completely understand the tone and vibe of this song, bringing it to life even more. The soundtrack of the GS games are something pretty special. It would be such a shame if you only left it here. Hoping the responses you are getting for this inspire you to come back for more!

This is my favorite theme in all of Golden Sun! Believe it or not, this music is what really made me push through the game.

Golden Sun and the Lost Age sparked my interest and inspiration for roleplaying, story writing, and conversing with others. I was one of the staple members of Golden Sun Realm forums for nearly 10 years, there until it's bitter closure. When that went down, I felt a part of me go with it, however every once in awhile I come across pieces of work like this, that rekindles a flame within me, reminiscent of the past, and yearning for those better times to return.

Sorry for the late reply. I was looking through my comments from the past few months and I just wanted to say thanks for the kind words. Your comment really resonated with me because I've always felt that older video game music has so much potential, and every time I do an arrangement, I try to unlock the potential of the original track rather than adding new stuff to it. I think it's more of an approach than a talent, but either way, I'm glad you're happy with the end result.
Played through this series as a kid. This tune always haunted me. Randomly reached out on youtube and found this, perfectly realized/fleshed out version of the original, made me cry for sure, nostalgia's a bitch, thanks
Golden Sun has its own genre.. a jrpg Zelda Game. There is no Others Game with such a system. I replay now all Games again. 😍
Golden sun has a great soundtrack but goddamnit this one sticks with you.

Alex. The Wise One knew what he wanted all along. And screwed him from absolute power from the beggining, since part of the Mars Star's power was left with Isaac. Because of that, Alex is extremely powerful, but not without limits.

This is how it ought to sound. It's so immersive, it blows me away every time I listen to it.
I recently built a home theater sound system. When I was listening to 0rangstang's remixes while on a long trip, this one came to play. I knew I just had to try it out in the theatre with it's full range audio fidelity and... I was not disappointed. The low end and the highs dance with the mids and creates a melody unlike which I've ever heard before from a remixed song from my most favorite video game series of all time.
One of the saddest and most beautiful games as a kid.
Still hoping for a Switch release.

Man, I know you're not planning on doing any more covers of Golden Sun (and I've read through the comments and I get why) but oh boy, in an alternate reality where you were mesmerized by the entire soundtrack and wanted to do it justice as well, your rendition for songs like Venus Lighthouse and Set Sail through the Karagol Sea would be some of the best things I've ever listened to in my whole life.
So impressive hearing this. Completely agree, that this is the best composition from the Golden Sun series. Sakuraba worked wonder. But you made it sound so heavenly in a new way. Thank you very much for your work and effort to do this! :)

I swear Golden Sun has THE best soundtrack of any video game. Some our good, but GS is always on point. I wish they continued with the series.

Malcolm Robinson Music - I can't agree with this statement more. There aren't a whole lot of songs that contain enough heart, soul and feeling to move me close to tears but my initial discovery of your Final Fantasy IV boss theme and fiend theme covers have done just that.
I've just about listened to everything in your channel at least once and I feel you have even outdone the original compositions in some.
I would donate if there was an option but I'm not seeing one. For now, at least, thank you so much for your very abundant love of music, attention to detail and great taste in lesser known games such as E.V.O. and Crystalis. +1 sub and I'll be passing this channel on to my friends and family.

It's also good to know that there are people who like my more obscure covers. I make them knowing that they won't get a lot of views, but it's worth it as long as there are at least some people out there who like them.

Thanks! That means a lot to me. I stopped uploading compositions in 2015 to focus more on covers, but I've continued to compose my own music. The style of music that I'm composing nowadays is much closer to traditional video game music than the "epic" style that I was going for originally. I'm not sure when I'll start uploading them again, but it might be a couple years from now.

[to not talk about the battle system, man archiving a 3d look by just having 2d sprites move left and right on the screen whit a super wide background and draw all sprite whit a front and back side. I mean they really din´t need to do that but they did.]
ZackWester this game really challenged the GBA graphics card, especially the second one with all the animations, it's one of the jewels of the GBA era
