This song feels like accessing a missing chapter of the universe’s history
I feel like that was the point of them sneaking into the Sol Sanctum.
Kraden learned much more about the universe anyway in Game 2 vs Game 1. But it would be nice to play a game where you play as Satorus and Menardi’s group in game 1 and how they got to the Venus lighthouse and all of the interactions.
Such an underrated franchise. Fantastic gameplay, visuals, and music. Talk about a game you're missing out on if you never played.
But undoubtedly has one of the most loyal fanbase ever. I still hope to play a 4th game before I leave this world and join the stars in the infinite skies.
This game was the sole reason I got a GBA. It just seemed too awesome. I was incredibly impressed with the graphics on first sight. As I grew older I appreciated the innovative mechanics of the game more and more. I hope there will be a new installment in this series, but I'm afraid it's going to suck if it happens
I bought this game with my original model GBA, back when we still had different major game stores. I got TLA soon after, and all these years later, have both (not the original copies however).
The greatest track in the whole game. When hearing this.. I can only ask myself: What more could be in store for me that is so wonderous? I feel like I could change the world. Limitless, like the stars above..
And how Kraden described the ocean to the gang, and how he sounded so sincere, and that was really something to look forward to.

I could not believed my ears! THe music in this game was so damn good!
And Iam not talking about the melody, also the quality of it! Not a single GBA game came close to this!

Thank you so much for the remastered soundtrack - this particular song is one of my all-time favourites. I remember how the game came out and two of my friends owned it - I used to spend every bit of time watching them until I got my own copy, and I was blown away from the first time I saw the gameplay, but the soundtrack was what got me really hooked. To this day I still think that the soundtrack is superb, both in quality (for what was possible at that time) and the music itself.
The games influenced me so much - starting from my artwork all the way to my taste in games.
It was such a shock to see Isaac talking in GS2, haha.
And to this day I still keep discovering little things and details in the games that make them so much more endearing to me. One of my favourite pastimes is to wander around villages and peek into the ovens - the differences in local cuisine are so cute! There's no dungeon that I don't like (though some are more tedious than others), and the story itself is everything I want out of one. :D

A large body of water that covers that vast majority of Earth. It holds many types of marine life.
I just realized the obsession with seeing the Ocean in Golden Sun is the same plot point as in the new Attack On Titan season

I know i´m 5 years late to the party (honestly sad it took me so long) but I wanna thank you nontheless. Can´t even begin to describe how happy your project makes me. The game deserved an uncompressed version of the great ost, it´s just amazing :)

I played Dark Dawn first. I got it as a gift from my friend on my birthday. But I was too busy and didn't have time to play the game, so it was there on my nightstand gathering dust for about 9 months.
One night, boredom overcame me, and I saw that game sitting there. I decided to activate my 3DS and dusted the game off, inserting the card into it, and began to play it, not caring about the fact that I had school tomorrow.
When I started playing the game, already in the first cutscene, I was *mesmerized* by its glory. As the week went on, I used all of my free time to play the game. Even when Dark Dawn is considered the weakest point of the series, I loved it so much.
After finishing Dark Dawn (twice) I turned towards the first two games, so I got them and started to play. When I got to this cutscene, when they found the Elemental Stars, nostalgia hit me like a freight train. Nostalgia-- for a game I'd never, ever played before. The same feeling overcame me when I played Dark Dawn, too.
That's what this game's soundtrack does to you. It's fantastic. It certainly was my mistake, not getting into the series sooner than when I did. But I guess what matters is that I got here eventually.
I also used to suck at video games, but after I played this game, I found myself getting better and better, exploring new games, trying new challenges. Talk about the impact that a game can have on someone!
I frequently listen to this high-quality, restored soundtrack. Great work!
They make the best nostalgic feeling soundtracks ever even when you have no business feeling nostalgic because it would be the first you've ever stumbled upon the game.

@@mr.awesome6011 Well, it’s a hard-to-describe feeling. I get the same thing listening to Vaporwave. Some things just remind you of your innocent childhood even when they have no relation to it at all. Music really is crucial.
Also… _how?_ I’m genuinely confused.
Much of the Ace Attorney soundtrack did that to me to, and it also started on GBA. Despite being such a new thing... Certain songs in general do that, like Drain Away by Dir En Grey (heck that song actually mentions "nostalgia" in it)... These musicians just know how to capture the sound of nostalgia, I like to think.

The song that plays when you realize which of the four elements you are the closest too.(I've realized it's earth, on my part, I thought it would be water if I had the answer, one day.)
I don't like RPG games and i have never liked of but I remember clearly the very first time I heard this one playing in my GBA. I was using headphones and I was mesmerized by the moment. They were in a dark alternative dimension over some crystal pilars talking about the secret power of some magical stones or something like this and I was entirely inside the universe of Golden sun at that moment mainly because this music.
This was magical back then ...it still is. You really feel the stars.

Oh, damn it!!! I found out the rival of Chrono Trigger - The RPG game I love the most in the world... As for that song, it sounds like a place where the secrets of the universe are treasured.
But the whole truth still eluded you, mere fragments... It was from here it would all begin however.

They really made so many advancememts, only requiring two AAs on original model with pretty good life and smaller than prior GBs, although it still required a light source lol.

kids these days arent even gonna notice how legendary this game was with all these cashgrab pre alfa games today. that time +-5 to 10 years roughly was the golden era of gaming, only some studios today can really go for that mindset in game developing. so sad that capitalism destroyed a thing that today couldve been somewhere these young ppl dont even think of, wich is fair enough cuz most likely you dont have the imaginary mindset to come up with the fantasies we had for the future of gaming back then, that were crushed by todays standards of money making bs publishers.
so sad.. like scientists elaborating that without religion we couldve had internet a lot earlier and all that stuff. our turbo capitalism wastes opportunities
