Wow, my military pension is just around 2000 USD per month… I’m only 52 years old and still work a full time City job, out here in California USA… I brought my wife from Surigao (Mindinao) to the states last year… she loves it here and is 20 years younger than me. I want hee to experience the USA, but eventually I want to retire in the a Philippines… definatenl visit a bunch… we shall see… in the e mean time I’m still working, saving cash, but eventually I want to be full time in the Philippines. I love your Vlog; you do a great job of explaining the ins and outs of the 7,600 islands to explore. Keep up the good work… you seem like a solid dude. Cheers 🍻
I really enjoyed listening to your stories and especially the dollar amounts. Good info! Please tell more stories about your experiences working there too.
You Doctor / Hospital types are way out of my league but it was still a good video 😁😁😁 My house payment with land and outbuildings was half those prices or lower... Keep up the good work Mr. Paul Zoom Zoom :)
Hello Paul , Oh yes Ayala Alabang very nice and as you pointed out great location if you want to get away at the weekend you can head out to Batangas or where ever , I think for a lot of the traveller's the prices maybe too high , I used to stay with a friend in BF Homes in Paranaque another nice part not too far from where you were. You mentioned QC being one of the most unsafe area'a its certainly one of the largest area's of Manila if not the biggest and yes they are places I would stay out of, but Marieta has 2 homes in the Batasan Hills one that's rented out the other her home when in QC and its lovely around there good roads in and out I have never had a problem I am sure I could find one if I wanted, its like Quiapo they always say stay away from there its a place I always go to find great deals to take back to Canada I love the markets and the shopping there . Great video keep them coming Paul
Thanks Shaun. As always I really love your posts. Thanks for telling me about a couple areas I didn’t know much about. I like Manila okay, just prefer the outer Islands. Take care
I like these helpful tips. And you present them so well with added info that is really nice. 🙏👍 Have you ever looked into the new "tech hub/city" being built north of Manila? I think it is just somewhat south-west of Angeles city. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts about that place, if ever. :)
You had a great experience going from your smaller condo to that sweet house! You must have felt free (movement). If you do more great subdivision videos, I request San Lorenzo. It is a gated neighborhood, immediately south of the Greenbelt Mall, Makati. Expensive, but great.
A sister subdivision of Ayala Alabang is Ayala Westgrove Heights in Inchican, Silang, Cavite around 20-30 minutes from Ayala Alabang. If you have a Filipino spouse, you may own a house and lot. There are condo units outside the village too. For your future reference.
Im not really sure about locations in Asia to retire. I have to be very careful since I am looking for a place where I want to spend hopefully rest of my life. So many factors to consider . Access to bank , safety, nature, economy climate , accomodation . Since I am used to enjoy nature, fishing, skate on ice (luckily Manila and Cebu has ice rinks) , and I like beach too, laidback lifestyle. Any place in world can have its dangerous places like Oslo Norway. And even "dangerous" places like Afghanistan has very safe places too. Locals usually have the knowledge where its safe. I use common sense. Its not just Philippines Im looking as I watched from Filipina Peas about other places in SE Asia. I am one who respect laws in each country I visit since I am just a visitor. I have in no way of plan or intention to break any laws. I just want to enjoy rest of my life in peace. If I could find a base in Asia where from I can continue to visit most of Asias countries. Economy is a big factor.
Cebu is nice for hub in asia since it has an international airport ,less chaotic than manila airports . Make sure to rent ayala condos like avida , amaia , SM condos .you can easily fly out from Cebu to hong kong ,Guam malaysia ,thailand, singapore, Guam,Saipan (a US commonwealth) ,Australia is also near the Philippines. .FROM Cebu you can take a ferry to Bohol .from bohol you can take a ferry to Negros oriental (Dumaguete) or you can ride a ceres bus to Dumaguete or to negros occidental Bacolod City. From Bacolod you can take a ferry about 1 hr to iloilo. From iloilo you can ride a ceres bus to Boracay for 4hrs . From Boracay you can take a RORO to Manila. Its fun
@@marybriones6454 I would really loved that kind of place what you describe here. I have looked more careful about Cebu since it has ice rinks which would be nice to combine with beach other days. I am grateful for all suggestions. I understand that one need locals for navigate through culture , customs.

Great suggestion. I have heard of it, but haven’t been. I will check it out. Sounds nice
What is the name of the city?
Sounds like a nice area I could live there who wouldn't?? What's Paramount is financial ability of course....tx.Paul..
Welcome Christopher, it is very nice. Park like environment. Homes are expensive. Condos are reasonable.
Thanks for the comments
always enjoy the content, I always watch and leave a like but may not always comment. keep up the awesome work.
I appreciate that!Thanks so much
Very good ideas . Lots of food and plenty to do. It's worth paying to be by lots of activities. Keeps you young
I liked it but prefer the outer Islands much better. Thanks Sir

Hey Paul, would you possibly do a video on Eastwood City over in Quezon City? That place looks amazing and seems somewhat comparable to BGC. Thanks
Oh good idea. I certainly have been there. I will when I get to Manila 👍👍
Thanks
I checked out some Ayala Alabang houses on Rentpad. I could see myself lounging by my upscale, peaceful backyard pool there. 🍹
Yes John. Some of the houses are unbelievable. A few are reasonable.
Thanks again
Alabang is the rich area..
I agree. A very wealthy area. Thank you
Alabang is very nice! Only been there once. Taco Bell run. Cost me more in tolls to get there then my meal. Lol.
Haha That is funny. In the USA I did a lot of White Castle and Taco Bell runs

Can you do an exercise video. Like run and vlog?
Thanks for the idea! That would be so fun
Yep nice area, and if you get into trouble the prison is right there also. 😂
Fort Yuma was a prison also and Yuma grew up around it.
Thanks Jeffery, I hope I never see that place. 😎😎
Personally, I don't want to live anywhere close to a Metropolis of 15 million people.
I understand Brent. I left the day after my contract ended, but still came back to the Philippines.
Thanks
