Cool for people, who actually want to learn. As for me, I just study because I have to get this piece of paper, so if they need to see my notes, I take notes.
what helps me is instead of taking notes, write down "tips" or important things ur prof says during lecture for each slide. then a day or two after i'll write my own notes using the slides and my own mini notes that way i can focus on class and then use what i know
Just look out for the chpt which u think are tough and write wahtever u understand you write it down in your own words then ask a friend who wrote the notes which teacher gave and write the part which u feel are impt and have a tendency to forget and there u go u have your notes Hope this helps🙏
You can note the most important things and do flashcards at home. Or flashcards on paper during classes. Flashcards are bomb and you learn a lot long term
Tbh I'd recommend just Sking to record sessions and get PowerPoint emailed or posted on blackboard/canvas. Then, Create organized notes YOURSELF as you study. You're hearing the info twice, comprehending it twice, explaining it to yourself, and wrote memorization, AND because it's not rushed, you can make the notes look nice, legible, and sensical for yourself. Ai isn't perfect and I'd rather not be lazy and gamble. If this works for you, great, but its not my cuppa tea.
I am a professional court interpreter and I never take notes. And I live in NYC where most folks talk quite fast. It does hinder me. If it’s a hearing, I don’t take notes, but if it’s a long trial, I’ll probably write down the names, addresses, and dates only. But, when one does simultaneous interpreting, it should come naturally.
I think we shouls try not pushing people to perfect. Because perfect nenas zero mistakes. Not even one and that means all the questions arennt misinterpreted, misunderstood because it was paraphrased definitely from the definition in the book and lecture slides. You dont have to be perfect just do your best and retain as much as you can so you can use it
i always drew mindmaps more than taking notes. no software can ever do that for you with the same effect as you doing it by hand, if the intension is to learn... :) but the tool is cool to prepare supplementary material to revisit later.
Once my teacher of 12th grade told me that Writing is actually studying. Everything else is just you falsely justifying yourself that you are studying. And ever since I took his advice, I have improved drastically. Writing is a boon. Write as much as possible.
as a kid from second grade what i do is i study for 15 minutes and go play football with jimmy It works everytime try it before its patched by the devs
imagine you left the ai on, and then your so focused listening the teacher. and when you check the ai, it was broken and you did not get your notes. Your Done. awokawokawok
If you can't listen while taking notes or if note-taking distracts you then you need to improve your note-taking skills! I think its a very important skill to have in university and in life and while there may be a learning curve to it, keep working hard and you'll master this essential ability :)
From secondary school till my current level(3rd year). I never could listen much to what the lecturer said. I could but I'd just sleep off. I always found it leagues easier to take the outline back home and read on my own from the textbook. Idk why. I hardly go to class and my parents hate it😂
Here's a tip: to actually not make notes but score good in exams, just understand what the teacher is saying. Comprehend it, if u have a friend, explain it to them to clear ur topics. Then, prepare a personal exam sheet, instead of spending time on notes. Write all important questions. Then just learn for ur exams normally from textbooks and other and later just one day before exam, solve the exam sheet u prepared, then work on the topics which u couldn't do.
Okay I'mma give y'all a super hot tip.... You don't need this. Pay attention and just scribble down notes without really looking at the paper. Do it without thinking just get what's important. Not only will you absorb info better during class, you'll also be able to confirm your knowledge better later when you descipher your notes. When studying at home, descipher your notes, write new ones and do your best to remember as much info as you can from the class. Also if you have adhd (like yours truly) or other learning difficulties pretend to be teaching someone what you just learned. It's been proven that teaching someone what you need to remember will make you memories the info better. Bonus points if you can actually rope someone into listening to your teachings.
I see some people saying that it’s not helpful because it better to take your own notes while the speaker is presenting. Well, it sort of depends on what person because everyone is different in note taking. some people find it easy to take notes while the teacher’s talking while some struggle. As a high school student who constantly takes notes for my classes, i find that really hard for me. When i’m in lectures, it’s hard to keep up with the information given. like if you are writing something down, another possibly more important thing would’ve already passed while you were writing, and you just missed it because you were busy writing down the other thing that was just said. which i find it really irritating. but using the ai to take the notes for you is helpful. you can use the notes that the ai wrote down to make your own notes so that you could understand/recall them better, and it will improve your grades. that way you won’t have to worry about rushing while you can pay attention fully. i would also recommend you record your teacher teaching the lesson so that you can listen at your own pace and take your notes then.
I Don't why but I cant understand any word of my teacher that's why i am taking UA-cam lectures which is veryyy helpful for me ❤ And i get good marks just because of UA-cam ❤ .And also thanks for your video but i make my own notes 😊
Actually i think it depends on the person . I usually make notes on spot while coming up with questions for that certain part and adding extras after class with a pencil . I get 94%+ usually ( taking hindi ,my weakest subject in consideration) . I also have a poor memory and short concentration span soo its not possible i will probably wonder off in some dream 😂😂 plus coming from a school in india you wont be allowed to bring phone to use turbolearn . I got a coaching teacher and school teacher , so both notes goes together side by side with questions being formed in the side allowing me to form a rough idea on how the exams can be . You can also write the main points only . It truly depends how productive you can be with your studies , i prefer to use my time at home for reading , playing or learning something new instead of spending time to write what i studied in class . Basically it depends on the person . I can for one take both the information in as well as write side by side converting the info my teacher teaches in my own words or draw it out to allow me to understand in my own way . Making questions alongside is even better cause teachers usually take a break and thats when you can write the questions , and fill in the gap info where you are confused and ask by the end of the class . Its a good method for those who cant comprehend info while writing but have a good memory , good enough to remember. I have a really bad memory so i write to allow my body and mind both to remember the info told in class . You can actually divide the page in 3 to four sections . 1 writing the main notes . 2nd cue , just taking the cues , main pointers and remembering them to write later . 3rd questions , you can just make questions of what your teacher is teaching . 4 . Draw them out . Make cartoons whatever you like , i personally like to making animals based off people i know and draw those ideas out for some fun (i have been making short comics for my friends since last 2 years , even after i changed schools , mainly consisting of our odd situations and funny memories , sometimes throwing in the classes , theory or dates in them ) I do 1 and 3 together , 2 during break in class ( the teacher usually gives us 5 minutes to either write or have a little mental break) , 4th when i am bored and or free period . You can use your after school time to study for extra , play around , read something you like and revise every saturday and sunday ! ( i make flashcards for these subjects at home when the chapter is complete and exercise extra questions ) See i am just saying it from one point , ofcourse its a cool idea for college without writing and still getting good scores.
in my school notes are graded and i kinda dislike it because i supposedly spend my time reviewing and making exercise sheets for upcoming exam but i end up stuck cramming notes that i didn't know that's graded, it's kinda waste of time

what helps me is instead of taking notes, write down "tips" or important things ur prof says during lecture for each slide. then a day or two after i'll write my own notes using the slides and my own mini notes that way i can focus on class and then use what i know
Hey so we arent allowed devices in school so could u pls make an alternative way for hand-written notes?
Just look out for the chpt which u think are tough and write wahtever u understand you write it down in your own words then ask a friend who wrote the notes which teacher gave and write the part which u feel are impt and have a tendency to forget and there u go u have your notes
Hope this helps🙏
@@PHANTOM-gy2cf yes it helped tysmmm!!!
You can note the most important things and do flashcards at home. Or flashcards on paper during classes. Flashcards are bomb and you learn a lot long term
you'll have to wait untill some alternative solution sponsors her too then
Honestly idk why but my brain only works when i take the notes, whether during class or after 😭
gohar khan lite edition :
Not my class being too loud to pickup teachers voice correctly
Tbh I'd recommend just Sking to record sessions and get PowerPoint emailed or posted on blackboard/canvas. Then, Create organized notes YOURSELF as you study. You're hearing the info twice, comprehending it twice, explaining it to yourself, and wrote memorization, AND because it's not rushed, you can make the notes look nice, legible, and sensical for yourself.
Ai isn't perfect and I'd rather not be lazy and gamble. If this works for you, great, but its not my cuppa tea.
Writing notes helps 100%, read them before exams and it will help.
A fucking advertisement
I think we shouls try not pushing people to perfect. Because perfect nenas zero mistakes. Not even one and that means all the questions arennt misinterpreted, misunderstood because it was paraphrased definitely from the definition in the book and lecture slides. You dont have to be perfect just do your best and retain as much as you can so you can use it
“I’ll be your doctor today. Don’t worry; you’re in good hands. I had a robot make flashcards for me.”
This seems okay as a secondary tool but don’t diss hand written notes!
Just make sure to understand the concept of the topic, then you're good to go
Big thank you scientist girl 😊
i always drew mindmaps more than taking notes. no software can ever do that for you with the same effect as you doing it by hand, if the intension is to learn... :) but the tool is cool to prepare supplementary material to revisit later.
this rlly helped
Genius
Once my teacher of 12th grade told me that Writing is actually studying. Everything else is just you falsely justifying yourself that you are studying. And ever since I took his advice, I have improved drastically. Writing is a boon. Write as much as possible.
it depend on the subject u r studying.
You can definitely pass exams but not in real life problems. -- Told by my friend after showing this
This is an amazing hack thanks
ur great dude..really u inspire me so much..finally useful and necessary representation on youtube rather than just makeup tutorials and gaming videos
okay but nothing wrong with makeup tuts and gaming vids, they can also be useful for those interests
@@xoica for sure i agree! its just the excess amount i feel is a bit toxic
There are hundreds of educational channels easy to see
nice now try to do this for calculus and real analysis :)
as a kid from second grade what i do is i study for 15 minutes and go play football with jimmy
It works everytime try it before its patched by the devs
brazy
I had been searching for this kind of ideas
I write down notes during lecture because it forces me to listen. Plus when I go to review it theres less to understand. Less studying.
Just record the lectures....then one can easily recall everything
"Gaps in my knowledge"
Yeah but FOR me i need my own notes to understand the concept no matter what as long as i write and learn i can remember it for years
Wow i thought this was Gohar for a second. BUT THANK YOU SO MUCH THIS HELPS SO MUCH
imagine you left the ai on, and then your so focused listening the teacher. and when you check the ai, it was broken and you did not get your notes. Your Done. awokawokawok
Oooo the organic chemistry you showed, I’m learning tht in 11th grade 😭
Yeah, I usually do not take notes at class and I only listen to my teacher and since then, I got higher grades.
im pretty much convinced, but it takes too long to make notes and gets stuck at 90 percent loading. (not the wifi prob)
friendly reminder: not all practices work for everyone, and not everyone can follow that practice
This is genius
All these things just kills creativity and make you dependent
But we don't speak in english in my country. So I just wanna ask you does it work with other languages too?
me thinking the same thing. Update if you find out
@@mr.brain20yearsago20try it first and see whether it works or not
Tysm im going to try this even thought phones are not allowed in my class and that the people are extremly load in my class
I’d just get one of those old school voice recorders and record the lectures while listening.
Honestly, I'm sick of listening to lectures and making notes for 12 years in my life. When will I be free from this😭
I see some people saying that it’s not helpful because it better to take your own notes while the speaker is presenting.
I Don't why but I cant understand any word of my teacher that's why i am taking UA-cam lectures which is veryyy helpful for me ❤ And i get good marks just because of UA-cam ❤ .And also thanks for your video but i make my own notes 😊
mind you this will probably work only for english speaking profs and classes
Well, I've done this app before and after a while, the app's gonna charge $8 for further note-taking. Ngl, I'm not paying such money for some notes
Mis quizz acabarían siendo…”que le pasó al papá del profesor cuando era joven en la guerra?“ o “donde vivió su infancia el profesor?”
Make cartoons whatever you like , i personally like to making animals based off people i know and draw those ideas out for some fun (i have been making short comics for my friends since last 2 years , even after i changed schools , mainly consisting of our odd situations and funny memories , sometimes throwing in the classes , theory or dates in them )
I do 1 and 3 together , 2 during break in class ( the teacher usually gives us 5 minutes to either write or have a little mental break) , 4th when i am bored and or free period .
You can use your after school time to study for extra , play around , read something you like and revise every saturday and sunday ! ( i make flashcards for these subjects at home when the chapter is complete and exercise extra questions )
See i am just saying it from one point , ofcourse its a cool idea for college without writing and still getting good scores.
Thank you so much. God bless you.
This is practically the notes given by teachers😂😂
in my school notes are graded and i kinda dislike it because i supposedly spend my time reviewing and making exercise sheets for upcoming exam but i end up stuck cramming notes that i didn't know that's graded, it's kinda waste of time
I just write down important key notes, and the professor uploads the ppt on the portal.
Impress your teacher by creating formulas to exchange masses in a vacuum of dimensions is what I heard from crimson
