As a major fan of all things Mario Kart, I had to pay tribute to this amazing song. As the very first battle mode in the first Mario Kart ever, it set the stage for the rest of the series. This was a pleasure to arrange and sing. It has some similarity to another one of my favorites from this soundtrack...Rainbow Road!

I dont think people realize how much work this guy puts into his videos
1. He has to listen/study the music
2. He has to go and do everything one by one and if he messes up he has to restart
3. I don't have a number 3 I just thought it'd be better to have a number 3
just transcribing the notes out is hard enough. singing them involves breaking down chords into multiple parts, as your voice can do only 1 note at a time whereas a digital piano or w/e can jam a bunch of note out at 1 time. It's hard af
I mean it's music production and most of them tracks have a repetitve melodic line at some point, so basically he'd take the best part and could copy it at some point in the song, but it's still a lot of work anyway. You just have to not forget that it's not as hard as "restart everything and make a perfect flawless record of every single track" lol

I actually know him! He moved and he just finished setting up his studio. So he should be uploading soon, but it does take alot of time to make videos, for most of the reasons that you said.

It's been over a year, and he's still gone. This seems like such a fun job, and he has over 400 patrons who support him every time he uploads. I just don't see why he hasn't been around for a while. I just hope he's okay and continues to make amazing covers of some of my personal favorite music.

He probably needs a break from it all. Being a UA-cam creator takes a lot out of you, especially when you have to do as much work as Smooth here. He has to break down each song he covers, do every instrument, probably needing multiple takes, sound mixing, video editing, etc. it sucks that he’s gone but I’m sure he’ll return better than ever

Thank you all for providing so much entertainment to me during my high school years. All of the music, how to, life videos, just talking about problems, etc. It has all been a great help to keep my mind off the horrible things that are happening on the outside. Can’t imagine what I would have done without you all there distracting. I wish I could repay you all but I am just a sad jobless teenager. But now, I’m going to college to hopefully train, get a real job, and then hopefully pay it all back; somehow. For now the best that I can do is just say thank you for now and know that I hope you never stop making awesome content. I hope that youtube doesn’t screw you over too much this day and age. Look forward to bringing your content along with me to college as well. And thank you once again for keeping my mind off all the horrible things that are happening these days. Really has kept me sane all these years. Again, thank you all soo much!

he can only bring in Charl during a track where he takes a long break from making noise (less upsetting to a cat to get snuggles without "baah bah" or "tchh tsss" happening right in the ears)... but in this one all 8 tracks stay pretty consistently busy right to the end so little charl got left out... but he's there in spirit.. and in jpg
@@DaBunne While that's probably true, he most likely records the audio tracks separately in an appropriate studio setup and the video parts are lip synced. He could bring in the cat but like you said, there isn't much pause for scritches.

I’m not the biggest fan of your content, but I openly support your growth and exposure. Having grown up listening to your covers every now and then while listening to most OST’s of games you really cemented yourself as a figure in my childhood. I never adored the content, but I was always aware of you. I just now check back in to see it’s been over a full year since you’ve uploaded.
I hope all is well. I really value your presence on youtube, being such a unique content creator, so passionate as well. You really are the perfect example of how someone can accomplish anything through a some medium if they apply themselves (musical sense). You also seem like an amazing caring guy.
