Walk Off The Earth performed a Gotye's cover 'Somebody That I Used To Know' at Holland Park in Surrey Fusion Festival 2012 on July 21, 2012. Walk off the Earth is a Canadian indie band from Burlington, Ontario. Band members: Gianni Luminati, Sarah Nicole Blackwood, Ryan Marshall, Mike Taylor and Joel Cassady. Besides the guitar, piano, drums and other instruments, the band also plays other unconventional musical tools including the Ukulele and the Theremin, as well as looping samples.
Their original numbers such as Corner of Queen, Summer Vibe, Gotta Go, and many others are very successful. However, it is covered versions such as The beatles' 'From Me To You', 'Mele Kalikimaka', Adele's 'Someone Like You', Gregory Brothers' 'Backin' Up' Nirvana's Polly, Ben Harper's Burn One Down etc. that are getting millions upon millions of views on the Internet making them overnight UA-cam sensations.
