The Railgun is by far the best support weapon in the game. Some things to add: Don't forget to set the railgun's mode to unsafe. It's faster and more ammo efficient to shoot them twice in any leg and shoot it a bit with your primary. It takes like 5 Breaker shots to kill a charger with an exposed leg. It also kills every single automaton enemy (besides the tank) with a single shot to the head. Some of them require overcharge, but all of them only require a single shot.

One stratagem I started to hate is the 120mm orbital. This weekend I became convinced it was more effective for friendly fire than anything else, as it combined with a rando that always short throwed, single-handily took 12 of our 20 reinforcements. It was made even funnier when we got back to the ship and the lady said “all that friendly fire was completely avoidable” yes it was ma’am. Yes it was 😑
Helldivers are Super Earths most elite. To even consider they have the potential of accidentally discharging their weapons on a comrade is treason. What many don't know is all equipment is loaded with thought crime detection so you can rest easy knowing that any helldiver you shoot is actually a traitor.
Down on the D pad to resupply yourself with a supply pack, makes it hands down my favorite back pack in terms of giving yourself more stims for survival. Others are nice, don’t get me wrong, but when you can basically infinitely fire a railgun or grenade launcher, that’s strong more than you know. Grenade Launcher is great against egg nests, get it early and it will carry you to high level. Breaker shotgun is busted good, if you have Steeled Veterans, go for the incendiary because it destroys bugs. Godspeed, Soldiers.
Railgun with ammo pack is my go-to for group play. That way I can wander off and call more packs as I need them instead of needing supply drops while I clear out camps and secondary objectives.
First time I found the railgun in the wild before unlocking it, I knew I had to get this gun asap. I was still pretty far from level 20 but I am closer now. That gun is a life saver.
Railgun and the spear are cracked. In teams of 4 if we get 2 spears we can do an entire missions main destroy objectives in under 3 minutes on helldiver
@@Kaiimei exactly and you can bring thirsty primary guns like the incendiary breaker and have zero ammo issues. That shield does look pretty nice though, I might have to pick that up and try it out.

I would have to agree with walker, cluster bombs are amazing but with the 500kg you want that mini nuke reloading as fast as possible (unless you got the third hanger upgrade)
I don't know that it takes longer, but if you still have cluster charges after using the 500kg it won't go rearm until either you send it to rearm therefore locking you out of eagles until it gets back or use the cluster charges which will then make it go auto rearm.@@DIZZYD4VE
awesome video, I’ll probably end up playing solo and probably won’t be pushing the higher difficulties when I get the game but will definitely keep these stratagems in mind for sure
It almost sounds like the game could do with a free 'shield' mechanic for all players that stops the first hit in X time from inflicting (heavy) crowd control on you.
Another nice mention is if you are working your way up and want to have a bit of tank/distraction earlier than the shield packs against the bots, you can actually equip the smg still while holding a riot shield. It obviously wont save ya from tockets but being able to push up and smg spray all the little guys early on is nice. It might actually be better off too whenever they actually fix armor value and heavy becomes playable again
Railgun you hit the charger 2 times in either leg, open the leg, and then just Breaker spam the leg with 2-3 shots and it'll drop. Also you can Unlock the railguns safety measure, and pump the damage up to about 175%, shaving off 3-4 needed shots to the head of a titan. Making titans a 3-4 shot kill, instead of like 7.
With the railgun, hold R to switch it off of safe mode so you can charge it more for a lot more damage. Just dont over charge it and it will blow up in your face. Also I noticed you were trying to headshot the chargers with it. The better, easier and faster option is to shoot its leg. Two shots from the rail gun to one of its legs and then a couple shots from the breaker shotgun and its dead super fast. Also the orbital railcannon strike is super fast and can one shot bile titans.
I'm looking forward to seeing more strategems in the future. Played the first one quite a lot and could easily see the mechs and vehicles making an appearance. Maybe even more of the weapons that are yet to appear.
Just a little tip to make the railgun all that more versatile. Use it to shoot the legs of the charger to knock that armor off, exposing its true weak points. You can then finish it off that much quicker with small arms fire and also save some railgun ammo for other chargers or bile titans. Hope this helps someone! PS: EATs also help a fair bit for this if you don't have a railgun. Do the same thing with them.
Right now the meta is to farm lvl 7 bugs to get good gear such as the one mentioned on the video. From my experience, low level players that got the hang of the game can do that consistently (with a team of 3 or 4) Once equipped I feel the anti material rifle, disposable rocket and recoiless "rifle" are very good in automatons. Heavy armour being viable there too (to I fell medium remains the better overall). Railgun is always good, but I would argue it gets outclassed With bugs things change a lot. Heavy armour is terrible, the shield backpack becomes amazing as to prevent bugs applying slowed down effects, and the railgun becomes almost necessary
Some tips for you, first and most importantly The charger. With railgun you can shoot him twice in the same leg which strips his armor revealing flesh and 2-4 shotsnfrom breaker instantly kills him, his back in actually not his weak spot because weak spots serve as damage multiplier but in his back he receives normal damage, so again 2 railgun shots followed by 2-4 breaker shotgun shots to the same leg and it instantly dies, that is 2-3 times faster then shooting his head with a railgun also way more ammo efficient Next one highly recommend using the unsafe mode for your railgun, safe mode full charge is 50% of the full damage, but if you get 100% u die so make sure to stop at 99% like a true gigachad, also has the potential of 1 shottng bike titan to the head with unsafe perfect charge Also 5:14 ammo pouches on the floor only give 5 bullets, the supply pack you call in gives 10 😊
Railguns are really mystical. Today, when playing on difficulty level 8 against the bugs, out of 5 Titans, 4 were taken down with 2 headshots each, and the remaining one with just a single shot, all in safe mode. The second round play also went down with two headshots, but the third round play required at least 7 or 8 shots, which is quite baffling. Moreover, in high-difficulty levels now, if people see you without a railgun and shield, they'll kick you out. It's like they have their own cult now.
Fun fact about the railgun is that, if you take the saftey off of the gun (by holding down R on PC or holding down the reload button on controller) you can oneshot chargers
So many multiplayer coop games say you can play them solo and still have fun and then theyre awful. This one is actually fun to try to solo and it's more viable than it leads you to believe
Best part of rail gun is holding reload allows you to set it to unsafe mode letting it charge longer doing more dmg.also if you shoot the chargers front leg twice it breaks the armor and u can kill with one msg from nearly any gun
Thank you thank you for making this video! I prefer the single player experience in general. Please keep making more single player video tips like this one. Just subscribed! Peace ✌️
Go glass cannon, light armor for fast regen and speed. Armor doesn't matter ATM. ammo pack > shield = a lot more bullets, grenades, stims = far less down time and DPS output. Or take the shield and do the blitz, just running and circling to get samples on those long distance missions.
I use the dog-guard drone instead of shield and while I take down chargers with my railgun or EAT, it kills every little bug out there saving me from wasting grenades or swapping weapons. EATs can be used to destroy up to 3 bug holes. Call eat on top of one hole, and then shoot the 2 eats at two other holes. It has a very short recall time and lets you deal with charges real easy if you know its weak point (its legs). Still, shield backpack + railgun is insanely good if you are using light armor.
I really wish everything else would get buffed to be a little more on par so that there is literally ANY motivation to use anything other than shield and rail gun
Autocanon can clear helldiver bots very good if youre still not level 20, bugs on the other hand are a different story since chargers and biletitants are the autocanons only problem if you still wanna try it tho id recommend the 110mm eagle for chargers and the laser for titans (note: the laser does NOT kill a titan in 1 use) so if you can bring a 4th stratagem maybe the normal orbital or a well placed 500kg will do) but its gonna be a cooldown race since titans are not so uncommon anymore on higher difficulty. little trick if you cant kill a titan because everything is on cooldown destroy the 2 belly sacks and it cant spew anymore
The fastest way to kill a Charger is actually to use your Railgun to rip off its shell from its leg(like two shots?), and then shoot it with your primary weapon, which only takes seconds.
Best strat for chargers are 2 shots with rail gun on the same leg to take off the armor and then use you primary weapon on the flesh of that leg. The easiest way imo and you’ll look like a badass to the rest of the team. Best part is that it gets stunned even mid charge, while you’re shooting that leg with the rail gun.
You can do it even simpler with a EAT or recoilless. One shot required only. Shoot once, switch to primary and unload. Much faster. But railgun has more other uses.
@@shawnaw2 the only problem with those are that they are limited by reload speed and usage. Rail gun has way more ammo, can reload faster and can reload while moving.
The limited ammo of the EAT requiring more precision, needing to ready it after equipping (you go through a full animation of extending the launcher, expending precious seconds where you can't do anything but run, not even switch weapons), the fact that you only get two in a static position (meaning you're boned if you have to abandon them if you're overwhelmed) all make the EATs just worse than the railgun. Especially in solo. I've loved EATs and Recoilless Rifles since the first game, and do use both in teams, but they're severely outclassed in 2 and awful for solo at high levels. Though I do enjoy running diff 6 and under bugs with EATs and the machine gun, switching on the fly. That's a fun build.
@@to181 I played a bit of the first one, it had tanks and humvees, mechs that have different variants like one has a flamethrower while the other deal with explosive. It's pretty cool, we seen what the mechs look like on Helldiver's 2 just waiting for it come out
One day they'll make the recoilless and EAT rockets properly viable, then we'll have some real build diversity. Right now, if you're not using the railgun (especially solo) you're gimping yourself hard.
SafeMode only man? On the Railgun? Hold R (or your reload button) and select UNSAFE. Now you can overcharge each shot, try not to explode with this. It does much more damage. Go into 1st person to see flames sparkling on your charge-meter and release before it maxes out.
honestly, while its fun now, i do hope the devs adjust other stratagems to make them more viable at dealing with the heavier units like chargers and hulks. like, more armor stripping across the board, or easier limb breaks would go a long way. for example, theres just no reason to ever use the sniper or any crowd control focus support weapon. adding more mechanics could be cool as well. for example, if the laser cannon could overcharge a battery to take down a charger in one battery, that would add a lot to it. even if its not the optimal stuff, broadening the horizon will make the game overall more fun.
The precisionless rocket takes the chargers leg armour off with one shot and all you need to do is shoot it with a breaker shotgun, you only need to shoot it like 4 times and it dies instantly
I play atm on Difficult 6 or 7. I recomend shooting with the Railgun on the Leg of the Charger and then shoot with a normal gun on the leg. Its dies more faster. Or you use on lower diffculty a flamethrower.
laser guard dog + light armor is actually better than the shield IMO. It will save you tons of ammo and you will be free to deal against heavy targets as your dog deals with smaller enemies.
@@chettonex I also pair it with the scythe laser rifle and rail gun. Add in some heavy strikes, and I have something for every occasion and have minimal need for resupply
Shoot the charger in the leg twice with the railgun, armor on the leg disappears and you can just take it out with primary weapons, saves alot of ammo fr the railgun
for XP just do a trivial easiest difficulty exterminate finish as fast as possible with jetpack and 1-2 orbitals and speed through that like 50 times in an hour
10 railgun ammo can take down 5 chargers providing you have primary ammo. Shoot one of it's legs twice with the Railgun then blast it with the primary weapon, dead in 5 seconds.
Railgun is actually 10 charger kills if you don’t miss just pick a leg shoot it twice it exposes the flesh then shoot it a few times with shotgun in same leg and it’s dead
2 shot a chargers leg and then use your primary weapon to shoot the leg when it's yellow, you can use about half a shotgun mag to kill it that way rather than 4 railgun shots
I hope youre remembering to remove the safety on your railgun so you can kill chargers in 3 headshots instead of 4. Gives you more ammo to spread that sweet democracy
@@Ak907Calbomber democracy needs to be sown in the mind and not in the knees. Plus you headshot kill them when charging they can launch through the air which is funny AF. (You're totally right btw)

My friend has 1-shot one before, by chopping off one of its limbs (i havent been able to replicate yet) and one time i one shot it in the head with a railgun, but not sure exactly where i hit on the head, so havent been able to do it again yet

OVERCHARGING MAKES LITTLE DIFFERENCE, the railgun from my own experience hardly gets any extra damage from overcharge for 99% cases i'd say use it on safe mode to avoid embarrassment
They are good for all builds honestly. One has great defense, and another has great offense, which benefits every type of build. I don't really "support" support my team, but I've been rocking with those two items in high difficulties
So I finally got to lvl 20 last night and got both of these items. However, my Rail gun was not 2 shotting chargers in the head, it took like 4 shots to the head to bring them down. I was playing in a full group, so did that matter? Does the difficulty scale with more players verses playing solo? Also, supply packs were only giving me 5 bullets for the rail gun, not 10.
Some of the information they are telling is not correct. Also missions have changes to them as devs are actively in the community and games monitoring them. With that being said hold down R or square on console and turn off safety mode for railgun to overcharge it to do more damage.
I think only thing I’m not understanding is that how?… I have had railgun for awhile and when I fought bile titans I literally couldn’t kill it … so… what??? Weakspot, and head shots. Nothing. Just nothing. Was there like a fix lol?.

The railgun simply is *too good* imho. Im not asking for nerfs, quite frankly everything else needs to just be equally useful. This isnt really a matter of opinion either. If 95% of endgame players take the same gun to solve the same issue, then that tells us one of two things. Either that gun is OP af, which isnt even the case here, or there is simply no alternatives. Oh, sure, you could use the orbital railgun or laser. With like a 3 minute cooldown time, or 3 total uses per mission. not exactly, if you do it as i explained (2 shots to take off armour than switch to primary) it takes more primary ammo to take it down afterwards because the extra dmg carries over after the armour brake in unsafe mode@@vincevalentine2407

Yes it was 😑
I think the voice line is "all those friendly fire incidents were completely UNAVOIDABLE"
Helldivers are Super Earths most elite. To even consider they have the potential of accidentally discharging their weapons on a comrade is treason. What many don't know is all equipment is loaded with thought crime detection so you can rest easy knowing that any helldiver you shoot is actually a traitor.
Great video. High praise, man. This will help plenty, especially with having a solid team supporting each other's flaws. Big help.
(and for pc players just press 5)
@@ra1nyran I appreciate you, I didn’t know the keyboard equivalent. You the man coming in clutch here today!
Railgun with ammo pack is my go-to for group play. That way I can wander off and call more packs as I need them instead of needing supply drops while I clear out camps and secondary objectives.
THE MOMENT I reached lvl 20 and got enough req for these two stratagems I bought these 2 exact ones and I can vouch for it's effectiveness
Rocking the supply pack with the rail is very nice too as you can now cart around a fuck ton of ammo
You're basically carrying around enough ordnance to kill 6 Bile Titans xD
@@Kaiimei exactly and you can bring thirsty primary guns like the incendiary breaker and have zero ammo issues. That shield does look pretty nice though, I might have to pick that up and try it out.
@@keldon_champion Yeah, I stand corrected. Enough ordnance for 6 Bile Titans, plus swathes of regular bugs, and also enough grenades for more than a dozen bug holes.
@@Kaiimei… and refillable stims! And all of this can be for your teammates as well. Got someone with a Spear who can one shot a titan? Might be more advantageous to stock them up first. The GL user needs a refill before going into a nest? Ez pz.
@@Kaiimeihaven’t tested this myself, but some dude here said you can two shot titans with unsafe charged shots, so full ammo could possibly kill 10 titans. If each resupply gives you 20 more shots, your backpack and base mag could theoretically snipe 50 bile titans 😂
500kg cluster shield pack and nade launcher for me as a scout runner clearing side objectives and nest while my team does the main objective.
I have the same list for my scouting. I take a Gatling sentry instead of cluster. It allows me to take off. It’s great to disengage and disappear from the bugs.
I would have to agree with walker, cluster bombs are amazing but with the 500kg you want that mini nuke reloading as fast as possible (unless you got the third hanger upgrade)
@@bumblebeepotatowait if you have multiple eagles it takes longer to reload them?
@@DIZZYD4VEI ran two eagles last night. The 500KG cool down was like 1-1:30 longer while the eagle Barrie went to rearm.
I played the first helldivers a ton, and knew exactly what the shield pack was about. It was mandatory for me back then, and still is now.
This is exactly what I was looking for - thank you! 🙂
Great video! I'm definitely grabbing those next time I'm on the game.
I agree, shield and rail gun💯🔥
I also recommend light armor and the stamina buff.
The stamina buff is crazy good.
Good tips
This was amazingly helpful! Thank you! I’ve subbed because it was helpful, concise, and overall perfect!
Best part about the Railgun is it can 1 shot Devastators if you hit right. Love it
With the railgun, hold R to switch it off of safe mode so you can charge it more for a lot more damage.
From my experience, low level players that got the hang of the game can do that consistently (with a team of 3 or 4)
Once equipped I feel the anti material rifle, disposable rocket and recoiless "rifle" are very good in automatons. Heavy armour being viable there too (to I fell medium remains the better overall). Railgun is always good, but I would argue it gets outclassed
With bugs things change a lot. Heavy armour is terrible, the shield backpack becomes amazing as to prevent bugs applying slowed down effects, and the railgun becomes almost necessary
Some tips for you, first and most importantly
The charger. With railgun you can shoot him twice in the same leg which strips his armor revealing flesh and 2-4 shotsnfrom breaker instantly kills him, his back in actually not his weak spot because weak spots serve as damage multiplier but in his back he receives normal damage, so again 2 railgun shots followed by 2-4 breaker shotgun shots to the same leg and it instantly dies, that is 2-3 times faster then shooting his head with a railgun also way more ammo efficient
Next one highly recommend using the unsafe mode for your railgun, safe mode full charge is 50% of the full damage, but if you get 100% u die so make sure to stop at 99% like a true gigachad, also has the potential of 1 shottng bike titan to the head with unsafe perfect charge
Also 5:14 ammo pouches on the floor only give 5 bullets, the supply pack you call in gives 10 😊
Democracy approved 📜
Where do you have to hit them?

It doesn't 1 shot them I've tried. 😅 I've tried numerous times and can never 1 shot them even at full charge idk about thia
@@xD3m0nx You need to hit them head on so it goes in through the head and out of the tip of the rear
So many multiplayer coop games say you can play them solo and still have fun and then theyre awful. This one is actually fun to try to solo and it's more viable than it leads you to believe
Great tips man get to lvl 20 and buy the best items in the game, super helpful
Best part of rail gun is holding reload allows you to set it to unsafe mode letting it charge longer doing more dmg.also if you shoot the chargers front leg twice it breaks the armor and u can kill with one msg from nearly any gun
Thanks , you just solved my problems with the game I had now I can go kill some bugs and level up to 20 asap :)
Autocanon can clear helldiver bots very good if youre still not level 20, bugs on the other hand are a different story since chargers and biletitants are the autocanons only problem if you still wanna try it tho id recommend the 110mm eagle for chargers and the laser for titans (note: the laser does NOT kill a titan in 1 use) so if you can bring a 4th stratagem maybe the normal orbital or a well placed 500kg will do) but its gonna be a cooldown race since titans are not so uncommon anymore on higher difficulty. little trick if you cant kill a titan because everything is on cooldown destroy the 2 belly sacks and it cant spew anymore
for anyone having trouble with the chargers knock the armor off the legs and shoot them with primary weapon it kills a lot faster.
The fastest way to kill a Charger is actually to use your Railgun to rip off its shell from its leg(like two shots?), and then shoot it with your primary weapon, which only takes seconds.
thanks m8 aspiring solo player here. thanks for your information.
That's a fun build.
this game is so damn good. I am impressed with how many stratagems there are and how many builds/classes you can roll with and have a new playthough.
I'm waiting on more stratagems, like the mech and tank
@@MaxkillerV2Gaming never played the first game but that sounds badass.
Right now, if you're not using the railgun (especially solo) you're gimping yourself hard.
with the railgun you can turn it to unsafe mode if you hold R, makes it do more damage for a longer charge at risk of exploding
You can switch to "Unsafe" mode on the railgun to do even more damage. Press and hold R then RMB.
Unsafe=extra democracy
SafeMode only man? On the Railgun?
Hold R (or your reload button) and select UNSAFE.
Now you can overcharge each shot, try not to explode with this.
It does much more damage.
Go into 1st person to see flames sparkling on your charge-meter and release before it maxes out.
You shooting the chargers in the face and back was making me want to help you 😂
honestly, while its fun now, i do hope the devs adjust other stratagems to make them more viable at dealing with the heavier units like chargers and hulks. like, more armor stripping across the board, or easier limb breaks would go a long way. for example, theres just no reason to ever use the sniper or any crowd control focus support weapon. adding more mechanics could be cool as well. for example, if the laser cannon could overcharge a battery to take down a charger in one battery, that would add a lot to it. even if its not the optimal stuff, broadening the horizon will make the game overall more fun.
The precisionless rocket takes the chargers leg armour off with one shot and all you need to do is shoot it with a breaker shotgun, you only need to shoot it like 4 times and it dies instantly
from what i saw from the shield. It took a direct hit from an orbital strike and somehow survived. so yes the shield a beast
Does the shield eventually break and u have to get a new one? Or does it slowly regenerate back to full if not hit for a while
It regens
I play atm on Difficult 6 or 7. I recomend shooting with the Railgun on the Leg of the Charger and then shoot with a normal gun on the leg. Its dies more faster. Or you use on lower diffculty a flamethrower.
The laser guard dog is GOATed imo. Hunters become less of a worry and it keeps pressure behind me during retreats
laser guard dog + light armor is actually better than the shield IMO.
Also one EAT or recoilless rifle shot will remove leg armor as well
Yo Taki! Can you make a video about weapons and armor for solos?
A good tip to farm XP efficiently solo would be greatly appreciated as well!
for XP just do a trivial easiest difficulty exterminate finish as fast as possible with jetpack and 1-2 orbitals and speed through that like 50 times in an hour
Does the shield stop you from being set on fire…
I may have a slight napalm/flamethrower addiction in HD2, and setting myself on fire isn’t very fun
I AM VERY CURIOUS ABOUT THIS NOW HOLD ON YOU HAVE A POINT.
burning myself thanks to jumpers is one of the reasons I stopped using the flamethrower tbh
Is there anything the flamethrower is good for? It sure is pretty.
10 railgun ammo can take down 5 chargers providing you have primary ammo. Shoot one of it's legs twice with the Railgun then blast it with the primary weapon, dead in 5 seconds.
For terminid structure missions and egg missions run grenade launcher. And for prom missile launchs and vein missions run rail gun
Emp mortar and regular mortar is very strong against the robots, if your whole team uses them it’s very hard for them to even get close to you
Rail gun has a unsafe fire mode that does more damage just hold your reload button when fireing don’t hold it down long or you explode
Railgun is actually 10 charger kills if you don’t miss just pick a leg shoot it twice it exposes the flesh then shoot it a few times with shotgun in same leg and it’s dead
Nice tips man!
Can you share your graphics settings or what you do recommend?
2 shot a chargers leg and then use your primary weapon to shoot the leg when it's yellow, you can use about half a shotgun mag to kill it that way rather than 4 railgun shots
I hope youre remembering to remove the safety on your railgun so you can kill chargers in 3 headshots instead of 4.
Gives you more ammo to spread that sweet democracy
Or just use 2 shots on a leg and use ur primary to finish off the weakened leg

I feel like theres more mechanics for the railgun.
Whats does the unsafe setting do aside from killing you?
Damage boost?
Definitely a damage boost, and i think it increases overpenetration, so you can hit things behind your initial target if they are lined up. When i charge it almost to the point of blowing up, i can regularly 2-shot a bile walker if i hit it in the head. My friend has 1-shot one before, by chopping off one of its limbs (i havent been able to replicate yet) and one time i one shot it in the head with a railgun, but not sure exactly where i hit on the head, so havent been able to do it again yet
@@RESUHT I think that enemies have different variations, just like there's a tougher charger, there's also bile titans that take more headshots to take down
Idk if you know but I'd you hold square and disable safe mode on railgun you can charge it up more and it'll clap the armor of those chargers kill it in less shots.

Almost always my loadout is guard dog with liberator, grenade launcher, eagle airstrike, eagle cluster bomb, covers practicallyevery situation, solo everything no issue. But when going against specifically the boss type enemies, 500kg bomb instead of airstrike
Shield backpack is so nice. I got swarmed playing with a friend and did a suicide 500kg and lived. Bugs certainly didn't though
i really hope they buff the jetpack, its just outshined by everything else. the fact that it takes so much stamina to go barely any further than if you just ran kinda sucks.
Half a level until I hit 20. Will be picking up these two strats
OVERCHARGING MAKES LITTLE DIFFERENCE, the railgun from my own experience hardly gets any extra damage from overcharge for 99% cases i'd say use it on safe mode to avoid embarrassment
Hold reload, and put that rail gun on unsafe to overcharge the shots, can double its damage if you time it right. Otherwise you feel the freedom.
I see this as being a great medic/support build for the more defensive oriented players of a group. Like myself^^
Thx for the info❤
Better off running the support pack then
They are good for all builds honestly. One has great defense, and another has great offense, which benefits every type of build. I don't really "support" support my team, but I've been rocking with those two items in high difficulties
@@Indy2109 I might actually do that because supply pack plus a grenade armor set sounds nuts
They should add an armor passive that gets rid or reduces slowing effects
Railgun is so overtuned, I wouldn’t get too attached to it. It’s going to get nerfed into the ground later on
Live streams are needed buddy ❤
What do you use for your primary weapon?
Dont forget to turn the railgun safety off
What’s you normal weapons and armour?
Overcharge the Railgun and always play unsafe for 2 tap titans and 3 tap chargers
They need to buff the turrets in someway because they get detestroyed way too fast in the higher difficulties.
Time to spread more Democracy and Liberty to the Galaxy!
What equipment do you run? As far as armor and primary and secondary goes. Obviously you are running railgun
I think only thing I’m not understanding is that how?… I have had railgun for awhile and when I fought bile titans I literally couldn’t kill it … so… what??? Weakspot, and head shots. Nothing. Just nothing. Was there like a fix lol?.
Weak spots can be a lot more precise then just the head ive noticed, with the spewer being a great example as they only take critical damage from the lower half of there face near there mouth
@@TheDapperSaint in some way I like that, in a lot of ways I do not, last night I again tried to kill titans, so my findings are I guess I’m hitting wrong spot? I was only able to kill one and that was still after like 10 shots. Now chargers I’ll destroy and spewers I will one hit. But titans.. idk I fought like 5+ and tried diff shots each time. Lightarmors are broken atm, so use them. Armor rating does not work as intended and kiting enemies > tanking enemies.
The guard dog robots and sentries have done it for me solo. Casually just solo medium for easy xp and medals.
I've done basically a guard dog and turrets for a engineer build basically and it's been funnn
Medium is very mild. Try that same build on much higher difficulties, it probably won't hold up
@@gcat2001 it holds up pretty well up until solo extremes depending on the faction. The issue is that automatons artillery will sniper your stuff more than anything. Other than that works well
@@gcat2001 dunno if I wanna touch anything higher than medium atm solo as I really wanna have a railgun and shield generator backpack on me for higher runs, and I’ve heard armors currently aren’t working as intended. Edit: just saw videos and tested it. Light and heavy armor seems to take the same amount of time to kill even with the weakest enemy. 6 hits. Bummer. Those armors in the super store might as well be just for drip.
There is just too many armored targets in higher difficulties to rely on any of the fun stuff, so one slot is simply taken up by the railgun, whether you like it or not. I would LOVE (absolutely love) to use other stuff, like the recoilless rifle or the spear tbh.. but on top of just being worse and less flexible than the railgun, they also take away your backpack slot to refill them, which just adds insult to injury.
Dont get me wrong, this game is fun as all hell, but the customization aspects and the over the top explosions which made it fun to play at first (at least for me) severely tank in the endgame. We need more diversity in what's actually viable against medium++ armor. There is so much potential, and i hope they fix some of the issues and balancing problems after addressing the obvious issues with servers, crashes and so on!
I am entering the solo helldivers now i just did the bots with all secondary and fabrics and was hard af but i fell like a elite type of helldiver hahahah
Meanwhile i am having a blast with the jump pack and the quasar canon for heavies...not the meta but still quite good and infinite ammo for the big guys. wanna try the shield at some point tho
Does the shield fully absorbs the final hit? As in, if the hit would take the shield down, does excess damage goes over to my health bar?
No the shield tanks it
What's your graphic settings? It looks good.
