- The Princess Royal has visited the 30th Signal Regiment in Nuneaton to commemorate the 71st anniversary of The Queen's Gurkha Signals.
Princess Anne is Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Corps of Signals.

Well done to Princess Anne...she takes her responsibilities seriously and is a credit both to Queen Elizabeth and her country...she is neither in direct line to the succession nor has anything to gain by doing what she deems to be her duty. She does however have the respect of the country which she serves and loves

I've never been a royal watcher. However reading about Princess Anne being the first woman to attend the Vigil of the Princes made me want to read some about her. From what I've read she does A LOT in her royal duty. A very admirable woman.
yeah must be rough to fly around in a helicopter, sit in a chair, and inspect troops all at the tax payees expense. what sacrifice.
My dad was in Queen's Gurkha Signals, Princess Anne had a chat with my dad on her visit in late 70s. And I was performing a dance in front of her while she was in Hong Kong.😄😊😊 that's early 80s.
These Military visits have so much more meaning being officiated by someone that appreciates and upholds duty and dedication to Country and Queen.

What i really like about Princess Anne. I don’t see her as a classical princess in a ballgown, living lavishly in a palace, getting all she wants. Instead, I see her as a strong woman, a patriot in a military uniform, a lady with a whole devotion to her country. Salute 🫡
