The pyro is BUSTED at endgame. I cannot stress enough how stupid that flame and explosion combo gets by the final waves. Its hilarious when you lean into her. Scorched earth is best earth.
I'm looking to play it more intensely after 1.0, but with how the versions are being released (very small increments), I might be waiting waiting for a couple years! Definitely hyped for it though 😎
@@BrandanLeei love these graphics. It never occured to me that people wouldnt like them. But I did grow up with them. Games with great graphics always lack in complexity of mechanics.
While my Steam Wishlist is filled with games that Splatt has covered, my financial situation means that I can't buy most of them. This is one that I bought. I had been curious about TAB-like games for a bit and this one was both less expensive and seemed more... dynamic than the original TAB. Certainly haven't regretted the purchase, especially with the updates the game has gotten since. While I don't play it continually, I usually latch onto it for a few days every time it gets an update.
The biggest downside of this game the art style. Everything easily blends together. I wish they would change the art to look crisper and easier to see. Especially the enemies and units.
I would love to see Splattercat ring in the new year with 1 million subscribers. He deserves that gold play button IMHO.
I deserve the 1000 subs but as a German ,you have no chance.
I think it will be a million before June. He is brutally consistent with the uploads. Barely missing a beat.
"One of my favorite games of the year, so far" is pretty high praise considering it's now December.
By the time the ship arrives, your new civilization won't want to leave.
That's why it carries some heavy guns! ;-)
Just down that ship!
Thank you, Splattercat for doing all this. You help people, which is always good, and your reviews are not biased.
I remember beta testing this and everytime I'd be ready to send feedback, a new patch would come through. 😂 its a seriously fun game.
So an evolution of They are Billions. Looks really interesting!

I wish I could multitask like you.

Looks a lot like Utopia, which I loved!

This game looks neat but, and I might be the only person here, the roads not connecting properly is triggering my anxiety.
Same haha
Yep. Gonna buy it when on sale. Looks like another time-killer of my schedule...
Aesthetic wise it looks like XCOM Apocalypse
I whipped and hit the like at the fiiiif. it was almost just a reflex.
That's an interesting name.
Someone remember Dark Colony?
Found it by GamerZak's channel, boy that would be a trip if that game got a remake.
@@zachlong5427 i agree!
When are we getting twitch vods again? :(
So it's creeper world but with more base building?
Creeper world IXE comes out soon!!
Am not really sure why but the first thought that came to my mind when I saw this game is KKND.
This game is reminding my how terrible I am at RTSs but It's definitely cool
This game is basically They are Billions but better. Only downside is more crude graphics.
downside?? hehe, retro pixel graphics are my crack
I would absolutely love this if I could stand looking at it.

Can’t stop playing since you first showed it

excellent!
picked up the game, im a billions fan so seems like an easy pickup choice. hope they add a campaign tho.
Reminds me of an old flash game TDS series i played on kongregate back then.
It's called something like creeper world or
when full release or final version? so i can try it out?
Hey Splat! What did the five fingers say to the face?
Are there any classic RTS's coming out? I.e Westwood style 😮
Check out DORF and Ashes of the Singularity
EA with active development? I'll check back in a year...
Trying to decide if I want this. I bounced off They ar...Never mind, 10 dollars is an easy buy.
Nice, categorized games of the year by genre! Thanks
There's a necromancer? 😂
Sim City Dude 😂
They need to improve weapon visuals. Too many things look the same. Orbital bombardment look too similar to all the other fire coming in.
hi splatter
I tried the demo for this game. I just couldn't get into it as much as I wanted to. It was so wonky control-wise and unappealing graphically.
FIF!

"From Glory to Goo" - basically the story of almost every AAA studio xD
Not making fun of game - just stating some facts about modern AAA gaming!
😅
I wish he would say it's steam deck verified in these videos or if it works well on it. I know I could look on steam, but it would be nice
Cool, Im also the first comment!!
I hope that this game can become available in other platforms.
