Good observation about the jacked up prices at record shows before offering a discount. To me the best part of such shows is the few dealers who carry really unusual LPs you don't often find at stores.
been subscribed since your retro video game days and I've just gotten into vinyl myself so I'll he sticking around. we've got the same taste, I'm looking for almost anything 80s including synth pop stuff. well that and mowax records, unkle and trip hop stuff. and of course any classics I come across for cheap. the only album I've bought brand new is talking heads remain in light cos I saw it and had to have it. paid full price at the record store for the reissue on 180g vinyl. I'm not so bothered about getting original pressings cos I'm just starting out. btw what are those clear sleeves you use? and I see you keep the record out of the cover is that just for easy access or some other reason?
+monkeycrow84 I use Diskeeper 2.0 inner sleeves and the outer sleeves from the same website (Sleeve City I believe?). Keeping it outside the jacket is partially for easier access but it also keeps the jacket in better shape since I don't have to take it out of the outer sleeve. It can help prevent seam splits too.
Great video! Remain in Light is amazing.
Thanks for watching! I'm really glad I picked it up, definitely on the lookout for the earlier Talking Heads stuff next

A healthy haul.
