Franklin On Ice - After The Thrill Is Gone

Franklin On Ice 2024 didn’t last long. The temperature was so warm on Saturday that the ice carvers were working their magic in tee shirts and the massive blocks of ice were melting as they were being carved. Warm temperatures on Sunday made some of them very unstable. So Monday morning, February 5, city workers came in with a Kubota tractor equipped with a front bucket and knocked them over before one fell inadvertently and hurt someone. This video is a walk through shortly afterwards, showing the ice aftermath.
